Thats one factor. The other was that, after the pump the price was simply too high for a coin that produces a few dozen million coins a month. This is not yet the bottom. We can be happy if it stops at 25-30.

The price of DGB might be going down but the value of the coin is not going down as fast because bitcoin price is going up, those holding bitcoin are benefitting and can get in at lower prices,if bitcoin price goes back over 500 USD a lot of coins will drop down in price but not as much in value. For those saying 1 Sat is the lowest, it's not, a coin trading pairing can then be dropped for LTC and go below 1 sat. This has occurred a lot with very high supply coins that are hopeless. I never expect 1 sat for DGB of course!.
You are right. DigiByte's price may be going down, but once Bitcoin price is stabilized at its high, then those coins dropped including DGB will rise again! So there is no point of selling any DGB. Just be patient, DGB is as safe as Bitcoin Bitcoin started going up about a month ago when the Chinese stock market started dropping. Watch BTC drop when the market starts rallying. On a 12 month basis chinese stocks are still 70% up. We have seen nothing yet. The fall will be a period of heavy turmoil and from summer 2016 on world will plunge into a 10 year depression. We will see then if crypto really already is an alternative to longterm consumer goods and precious metals.

Time for coins with huge supply will come! Litecoin, Dash etc are good for investors who want to make good money and have a value store.
Coins like DGB are for the masses and cryptocurrencies still seek those mass markets atm. So stay cool and look forward to marketing! Time will come for DGB.
Yes agreed. But now its Bitcoins time. The crisis will continue and money needs to be secured in China, Japan, USA, Portugal, Italy and Spain to save it from international bankster bailouts. That money has to go somewhere and since precious metal supplies are limited it will flow into BTC and longterm consume goods like cars and kitchens. So now its BTC time. The fractionless currencies will follow once the worst is over.

The warning signs have been around for a long time. Security needs to be #1 priority for everyone in this industry, including individuals. I'm amazed at people who don't have 2fa for example. It's free & makes you a LOT more secure. When the dgb exchange is completed, I hope to see a fortress. 2FA helps you shit if the owner of the exchange is a fraudulent scammer who was known for that before. You dont believe the Hacker story, do you?

Weird that someone still trying to buy at that unthankfull 40. Its obvious it might push through there till the weekend. The guys that were able to sell yday saw that coming and now the late ones try to desperately sell but the money didnt flow back.

I wonder why the price should stay above 50. It will autosell-melt again in the next 2 weeks and we are back to the starting line. Too much supply puts permanent pressure on the price. At least for now.

I think the price is falling because one or two individuals have dumped millions of digibytes, nearly a couple hundred BTC worth since it started falling. I guess they feel the price hasn't dropped low enough to buy back in again and I imagine they are now sweating more than most of us in here.
I guess 50 was the last trigger for the stoploss level of some last souls still invested after the pump 2 weeks ago. Take teh winnings and goodbye, take the coins and coldstore them. Without a ralley in sight they might be right.

After last days price movements and fresh trades shows DGB is very stable and is making new floor of price which can be around 60-80 satoshi for a while . It is my opinion that it looks very cool.
Still it seems the market is not happy with the price. could breathe till 41-42 maybe. I hope not a dip back to 25 after all :/ I am waiting for around 35-40... if it does fall back it will be pretty thin going back up ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I dont know. Maybe after all these exchange busts lately there is just no general mood for another ralley. BTC shrunk in again too due to that. So setting a 4 week range we are still 2-3x higher in price. there is room down there. I honestly dont care much though as im fixed in @54 already and doomed to wait this out.

Looks like this new floor is quite stable ,can you imagine what happens when the team comes up with some big news ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) I agree, looks great. If 50-70 stabilizes as new baseline we will see new heights at 150+ . Looks below 50 is stuffed with sponge orders now sucking the miner flow. im all in@54 and wait for the next bull now, fully loaded up and with 30% profit. love u @dgb.

This is again just a proof of how many people want to buy in Digibyte cheap ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Not yet. I could kick my ass that i tried to stabilize @ 70. ill aim for 35 now. not one cent i invest at this level! Haha i don't hope you right but time will tell ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) on the other hand more btc is coming already in the 54 ranch ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Not much resistance there till 42-40 maybe. I think we will see the 48 already this night. The autosellers pressure is pretty high.

Looks like the major holder dump again because of the BTC price.. this is what you get if you fall for their P&D scam.
40 should hold. Thats a nice double up from 2 weeks ago and then we can go back to new heights. alot turbulences right now. i dont see another ralley soon. things will have to calm down first. bter was a big one to digest. alot of people lost alot of money. AGAIN!

Whatever it is it might only show for logged in ebay-users.

ah man....seen this one play out a bunch...to much greed (fear) on the guys that got in around 35-50 before the pump (2nd wave)...now the smart money that got in early will clear out the books with the 300% profit that remains ... because they know they can buy back cheaper ....with profits already secured from sells above 100.
im buying back ~15-30
Agreed, looks like we end up there again

Actually that doesn't make sense. It's more logical to buy a coin when it's on the way down than on the way up (unless you have some kind of insider trading information).
People seem to think theres room down there and i agree. maybe another 15-20%. So we have to build the value up again from what... 30? Would be a shame for all that hard work! That BTC "cold" wallet hack is strange... i think that price will go down because of it too. The work will pay off when its time. Till then i guess we have to get used to this volatility. I think 40 can be a new base. Cross fingers.

This is worrying, I know a bit about these things. The private keys are all publicly announced on the blockchain, according to the article... The paper has not been published yet, I am wondering if BTERCOM hack has anything to do with this researcher and method Or bitstamp hired a few hackers or this researcher to recover their own losses ? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) BTER i dont trust much tbh. Hopefully this wont be another mintpal story. Anyhow this could explain all this selloff today. people securing their funds. i certainly do for the moment.
