They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.
With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
You have hitted the nails on the head because i personal lost some interest in the ico trust rating websites because there are many coin with excellent ratings that later turned scams and there are some trustless, no rating coins that have turned profitable. |

The problem here is not whether people like ETH or not because nobody want to loose funds when they invest, most of us have different mentality and we panic differently.
The statement of not to invest the funds meant for your upkeep and survival or dont invest more than you can afford to loose also applicable to cryptocoins investment.

Though ethereum is very potential and it will rise definitely when the market recover from the bear and the bull run start but I do not think it will rise as high as this amount by December because the price is still very low now.

The coin or token simply needs to be a legit project, with investors interested and a solid community backing it up. If it is simply vaporware or a shitty project looking a pump and dump, then chances of it dissapearing after this bloodbath are pretty high.
The coins you mentioned have been on the market for a very long time like zcash or litecoin, and there's a reason for it, they don't have unique characteristics, people trust these coins bucause they have proven to be legit cryptos over time, that's why they'll survive this bear market. Projects who lacked trust in the cryptosphere will most likely dissapear.
Yes, I agree wit your suggestions of the qualities that a coin needs to have for it to survive the bear because without these, it may likely crash. It needs to be legit that is has very good idea, good technology, team members and also a very strong and supporting community for it to survive the present condition of the crypto market. |

For me, I think the good ways to earn profit with your altcoins is to either hold it on long term as long as it is a good and promising coin or you should do trading with it but you must have an experience or very good knowledge of trading before you start doing it. You can also invest it in icos that has good potentials and will likely be successful.

Presently, it does not look like it is ready to bounce back but it is rather dipping more but I am sure it will recover soon when there is high demand for it and we stop spreading negative news around it.

Personally, I do not think you need to dump ethereum because of the present condition it is in because to me, these are some of the things that is affecting the price but if we all can give it our support and let the demand for the coin be high like buying in this period as the price is low, I am sure ethereum will rise slowly and when the bull run starts, it will regain it's potential.

Ye, I am really surprised at the current price of ethereum because it lots of potentials and I do not expect it to fall as much as this but I am sure with the good potentials that it has, it will definitely rise back when there is high demand for it and when the bull run start it will be higher. |

Personally, I am sure when the bull run starts, most of the potential coin will rise as there will be more demand but the one that will rise max, I am sure it will either be bitcoin or ethereum because they are the most potential most dominated coin in crypto.

I use Meta Mask wallet. But I wonder, is it possibble to be attacted by hackers any way? My MEW wallet was stolen, that's why this question is problem for me.
Of course it is possible. Heck even if you had paper wallet somebody can randomly get same private key and steal your coins along the way. Back to your question keep strong password on your metamask, always double check to which wallet you are sending to as there are computer viruses that can switch what you copy and paste. Hacker can obtain the metamask files if they are good and this is why you want strong password. If you are really paranoid go and buy hardware wallet for easy and secure solution. Yes, I also agree wit your suggestion because hackers take every little opportunity the find to rob investors of their funds but if you have a strong password and you check all necessary things before any transaction, then your funds are safe and you can also buy the hardware wallet as it is very safe, secure and more reliable to store coin even on long term. |

Yes, I also agree with your suggestion and I think it will really make sense and will be valuable but crypto is just growing and I think in future, it will be more valuable and the rate of scam will also be reduced because only potential projects and coin will be allowed to come into the community. |

Though there were some football related bounties sometime but most of them were not worth it because they were waste of time as they did not get their coin listed on exchange list but if you really have interest to join a football related bounty, take your time to do a very good research and you will possibly find one to join.

I understand why you feel this way about altcoin and this is probably because some of the coin you bought are not really promising or maybe because of the current condition of market the price is very low but I will tell you that if you do your research and invest in very promising and potential altcoins and hold them, you will make profit because some of these altcoin even grow faster than bitcoin as long as the market condition is stable.
