A nice start in the pool, and a really nice performance from Dinamo.

I saw it coming to be honest, this Dinamo team is way more serious and mature than the usual ones.
Boban did a really good job in assembling a competitive team, I hope they will have enough for a place in the knockouts.

Next 2 games are away, Maccabi and Malmo, 4 points would be perfect Smiley

Guys the round has finished and for the first time in this season the tiebreak goes into play. So for this round the winner are criptfrka and myself with 14 points, Strongkored lose in the tiebreak having the same 14 goals.

The total ammount of goals for the round was 35.

Hey man, did we get freebets for this one? I don't recall it.
Nice way to spell my name as well Grin

A round in which I easily picked 5 teams, more than 5 would have been really difficult though.

Hearing rumours about Real Madrid interest; if this is true the chances of Liverpool getting him is getting slimer- Rudiger is in his final contract year at RM and maybe could get a max 1 year extension so they seriously need a replacement there. Guehi is ideal.

It's hard to turn down RM when they knocks.

For Guehi? He's not really good enough for Madrid though.
However, if they go for Guehi, they will not be going for Konate - which for me sounds a lot more likely.

I think we sign Guehi in January, Real signs Konate in the summer and we bring in 1 or 2 new CB's in the summer as well.

Watkins was brought on in the EL yesterday, only to miss a penalty Grin
Time to go man, he's still got good fixtures but I simply can't take it anymore.

Haaland is a risk but I think he plays - City has nobody else there. I want another City asset, planned to risk it with Foden but ultimately decided not to - with Pep you never know who plays and who does not.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 14000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: Today at 11:10:38 AM
I don't know about cryptofrka and vd309 but in the last 4-5 rounds, I always look at their answers first than my opponent haha😁 Today is the first time I look at my opponent's answers and i see that i lead 1-0😁

Yeah, same here. LMS is the biggest one Cool

Hah, how things change fast. It was 90th minute of the Salzburg vs Porto game when I checked the result and if it stayed liked that, Hosemary would have 2-1 lead.

I just came back to check the spreadsheet just to see that the answer for the last part of h2h question was "Yes", meaning Porto somehow managed to win the game, getting me 2-1 lead instead. Can't do shit without a little bit of luck.

They scored in the 93rd min and put me a goal behind ralle14. Still plenty of time to catch up though with 4 different answers until the end of the round.

No no, this is not on me, cryptofrka if the one colouring the table, doesn't let me touch it in order to not screw with his free bet and/or LMS calculations.

I think we should all name shame him here until he wakes up and does the work. Kidding aside, I am sure something came up and it will be properly handled soon.

We really spoiled them, didn't we? Grin
Everything is graded now, Mafia was a bit busy.

I got lazy and just tried Googling for winner odds. Didn't find anything recent, so went with gut.

Didn't want to make it too easy for you fellas there. No odds available at the time the question was written, other than some marginal 'predictions'.
This time I feel it will be all 'Yes' - I think that Poland is the most risky of them all.

7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rainbet.com 🦁 Fantasy Premier League ⚽ Prize $15,000! on: September 24, 2025, 04:50:03 PM
I was contemplating WC for a long time but decided against it. If nothing else just because every single content creator that I know off has WC activated and they all have same squads. Never watching videos anymore, they were good few seasons ago when there wasn't so much data. Now they are all sponsored by fantasyfootballhub and just use their data which inevitably leads to same conclusions and same teams.

Super boring, give me fantasy 5 years ago over what we have now any time. Those were the times when I enjoyed listening to their content and then deciding for myself what to do among several proposed strategies. And they actually had some bold ideas then.

They will have wildcard teams for 18 rounds this season - it's just how content works.
I do agree that it does lead to a lot of the same teams being picked - and that's the main reason why I went with a terrible choice of picking Salah over Haaland.
If I didn't watch those videos, I'd have had Haaland since GW1.

Also, for me the problem is in player price changes being tracked. Ideally you'd want them hidden - this way a lot of times a player gets bought/sold for the wrong reason.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rainbet.com 🦁 Fantasy Premier League ⚽ Prize $15,000! on: September 23, 2025, 09:01:29 PM
Ekitike, what the hell? Grin
This is incredibly stupid. You should never take your kit off for scoring in the early cup rounds, and this is borderline insane.

Isak will have to start now against CP, if he can't maybe we see Wirtz there. Or Gakpo, with Wirtz on the left.
Anyway, complicates things for those that have Ekitike.

Regarding team value - yeah, it's been brutal. Nico Williams dropping ahead of one of the easiest games on paper, after scoring in the previous game? Sometimes I don't understand this game at all.

Even though I forgot to submit my predictions for 2 weeks it's a great feeling to rise to the 1st place anyway. 2 more points will be enough for me to earn the chance of competing in Division 2 next season. Grin

As long as you keep submitting until the end.. Grin
Your story is really great, gunning for the title with 2 failed submissions. If you end up promoting, it will be well deserved.

vd309 rebought LMS, no surprises there. It will be the 3 of us until the end.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rainbet.com 🦁 Fantasy Premier League ⚽ Prize $15,000! on: September 22, 2025, 09:22:51 PM
All my planning consisted of going for Haaland now - and then I forgot to actually buy him and his price increased.
I need 2 transfers to get him, my midfielder pick was Simons, whose price - you guessed it correctly - rose yesterday as well.

0.2 wasted, such a dumb move. These things, when added up, make or break your season. It's way too early to destroy my team value like this.

I'd go with 1 player getting the freebet.

Really a lot of EL games this week, considering that there's no CL on schedule I'll watch a few.
Dinamo - Fener surely on Wednesday, probably Salzburg - Porto on Thursday. Villa - Bologna looks like the best game on paper but I simply cannot watch Villa again - they are terrible.

You came for all the young stars we signed on 8+ season contracts after a few games; did you forget they were signed for 8+ seasons, not just a few games?

Nope, I just made fun of the idea. You cannot develop 11 wingers at the same time, because half of those aren't getting enough game time.
You're acting like a stock broker, not a football club.

In my opinion Wirtz has been decent, just not on the level required of a world-class signing. He'll get there for sure, and soon enough.

Does anyone still think Ollie Wastekins is redeemable at this point Huh!

Over an hour against 10 men Sunderland, but still not even one shot on target, I don't even know what to say anymore, he'll probably drop in price yet again this week  Huh

He will be from next round onward, once all of us sell him. I say he scores 5+ goals in the next 3 games.
I'm surely getting rid of him though - all my other offensive options look so much better. I'll keep Richarlison rather than him, although Richarlison is a big rotation risk.

Anticipating victory))

Aston Villa started their season pretty badly, but they should win today (especially considering Sunderland got a red card).

By the way, the odds for Fiorentina are also amazing!  Roll Eyes

Aston Villa singlehandedly destroyed all my tickets today.
I played them before the game, after the red card and after they conceded for 1-1. More than 10 tickets in total.

Not sure what's going on with that team, but Sunderland was the better team with 10 men against them today.
