I believe that's it a foundation of a strong community but also the reason of destruction of a community, it's a double edge sword. When parents will not teach their children good character then our community will crumble. |

Since most of the topics here are mostly about religion, i too would like to create a topic with regards to this.
I would like to question those who consider God as something that is purely fictional. Why did you arrive to this kind of conclusion? Do you have any proofs as to why God is not real? If so, then how could humans existed ? Do you think we came from a single tiny organism? Which through time had landed in this perfectly habitual planet and started to grew body parts?
Im just curious and wanted to hear their side on this
Debating about God by using our mind is just futile. We cannot deny or prove the existence of God by using our mind alone its like transferring the ocean in a container by using a spoon that no matter how you struggle it's just plain useless. The more we think we know God the farthest we are in knowing the truth just like most of the religions are doing right now. To know God you need the right instrumentsand tools, like if you want to know if there's an electric currrent flowing in a wire you need to use an electrical tester. |

Some will say yes, but for those who struggle so much definitely the answer is no. For me? I struggle a lot, but my answer is still a yes. Why? Simply because I trust God who created us. I take those struggles as a challenge. I believe God would not give us a challenge that we can't handle. He just want us to become stronger and have faith. I'm not the type of girl who always pray, read bible, nor always go to church but in my own way I can proudly say I believed in Him. May God bless us all.
Life is not beautiful or ugly life is just is. It's our mind or our own expectation of life that makes us struggle. Just live life as it is like a child and you'll see that life is the way we wanted it to be, you can make it beautiful or you can struggle everyday of your life... |

Most of the crews were battle-hardened and all well trained. This could be seen in the Battle of the Philippine Sea, the Battle of Midway, the Battle of Okinawa, and the Battle of Iwo Jima, along with the bombardment of Japan. The United States Army and Marines were also well trained, and able to project power nearly everywhere in the world. The United States economy had been the largest since the 1920s. That industrial power grew during World War II granting them vast amounts of economic might not seen in the world since. It was also the only country out of the Big Three not to be attacked on their home soil except for a few special cases on the West Coast. |

Do you wonder why no matter how good the phone camera that you are using, the pictures you have taken is still not impressive? Like the colors are dull, it's not sharp and sometimes out of focus, it's dark or overexposed? Most of the best photographs you've seen on the internet is post edited or enhanced meaning it's not the original image that was captured by the camera, that's the reason why no matter how good the camera your using you still cannot capture pictures like a pro. What do you think of our planet if no technologies evolved? and created by man? think wider.
I know this questions are ask to all of us but I ask you think wider and harder.
If ever there's no technology there would be no industrial progress since almost everything that makes life easier is based on technology but as we know technology is a double edged sword progress in some ways also means decay in our environment because of the pollution that is generated by creating technologies.Basic human interaction is also at risk since everyone is busy with their phone. So if we ask if life is better with or without technology, it's a stalemate. |

Most high return investments are scams since it is also high risk. Most scammers are using our weakness to high return investments coz almost everyone wanted to have big profit. The safest annual return for an investment is 10% more than that is too risky. |

Is it because of the large number of altcoins?
It's normal to go down since many people had withdrawn their coins the last time it gone up but dont worry it's just temporary. Just like in the stock market the big profit is in the long term investment don't worry about the day to day ups and down of the prices coz as what we experience bitcoin will just suddenly go up without any warning...🖕 |

I'm a Scientist, have been for most of my life. I have NEVER believed in a supreme being, despite going to Catholic schools my entire life.
I'd like to know.... What is it that compels you to believe in God? How can you argue for his existence? Please bare the following in mind when you answer;
1. There are literally thousands of religions, each of which has members that believe just as firmly as you do, they say they feel a personal connection with God, they have their own religious books and doctrines etc, if you were born in Saudi Arabia, you would be a muslim, in Ireland you would be a protestant, seems like the place you are born denotes your religion, rather than divine intervention. Obviously you can't all be right, so how do you know YOU are.
2. Most religions state that God is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving, all-present and eternal. If this is the case, why are people punished for sins by an all loving God, who predestined them to commit their sins by knowing the future? Why is there bone cancer in Children, and insects that burrow into the eyes of infants making them blind, could an all loving God not have imagined a reality without this? And why is there such overwhelming evidence AGAINST the existence of a creator?
3. Since the scientific era God has slowly receded into the shadows, God used to be held responsible for most things, e.g. people offered sacrifices for good health, prayed for rain, thought that God pulled the sun across the sky, created plagues etc. Now we know he does none of these, and God has been reduced to a "God of the gaps" whereby he is still attributed to things we cannot yet explain with science, doesn't seem very powerful anymore.
I'll try to respond to the major points in this thread attempting to dismantle them.
The main problem is this, God isn't perceptible by our senses. We cannot know God by using our mind. Remember that almost everything we've known is taught by us or other people so when we try to use our mind in knowing God we are just running in circle the more we think that we know God the more we dont know God. When hermes was asked by his disciple is there a God, why God has created us? He just kept silent. |

Can we imagine a society without money ? Now a days the term bitcoin is getting very much interesting to all so is there any chance that in your future there will be bitcoin in exchange of money and if it happens what will be its consequence i thing it will be good because there is many country where the money value is low so its tough to carry a lot of money if bitcoin comes everywhere this problem can be solved.
Society without money already existed before money was invented. In old days people are using the "Barter System". Barter is a system of exchange where goods or services are directly exchanged for other goods or services without using a medium of exchange, such as money until they realized that it's hard to carry items when buying something. It's a burden to carry lots of gold if you want to buy a house or an hectare of land so the bank invented the money. The first known banknote was first developed in China during the Tang and Song dynasties, starting in the 7th century. Money can't solve poverty only the right thinking can. |

Lately I've been busy because of work, lack of sleep and cannot eat at the right time. Can someone give me some tips to have a healthy lifestyle?  Be a vegan. Do not eat meat as much as possible and practice meditation. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables will make us healthy since it will boost our resistance and immune system. Meditation will make ourselves relaxed and stress free. |

I dont have childhood memories that wanted to happen again coz it's just a waste of energy thinking about the past. Let's use all of our energy living the present moment so that we will not have any regrets about our past so we can say that there's nothing in the past that we want to comeback coz we've done everything we had to do.

It's weird how even though the UN tried to ban nukes, the US ended up with almost 7,000 warheads. Weird, right? Almost like double standards or something.  But anyway, China only has 280 nukes. The U.S. leads in technology when it comes to warfare.. so not only do we have more nukes, we also have the better delivery and interception systems. But, China has land going for it. And it also has a multiple more times people. So even if China has about 300 nukes, it only needs that many to cover the entire U.S. in nuclear mushrooms. Meanwhile, if the U.S. goes to nuke China, we have 7k missiles to throw their way, and we'd have to cover way more land area. I think the U.S. could intercept 300 nukes easily, yes? I'm not sure if China can intercept 7k nukes... at least 100 would land... I think the U.S. would win. Wooh! US would be the winner in terms of nuclear prowess, 7k vs 300. Russia has also almost the same nukes as US. If ever a world war 3 will break out its definitely the end of the world... |

Agree, nuclear power today is only used to balance the power between countries because it's impossible that a world war 3 will break out. I'm against war and cruelty. Im just trying to compare the two since china is in my opinion the world's leading in technology.

I don't mean just seeing something nice and wanting to have something like that. Some people would not mind doing anything to take what belongs to another. Why do we have people like that?

Back when Bitcoin started i feel people invested, because there believed in it, and wanted to see it change the world.
Now days i feel people only look at it as a way to make money, and don't really care about the future of it.
Whats peoples thoughts?
I'm investing to bitcoin because i can see it's usefulness and it's possible growth in the future. I liked bitcoin a lot because as what i understand it is based on the thing we really wanted and that is "freedom". |
