1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Kryptonium - The Ultimate Privacy Blockchain on: June 18, 2018, 10:58:20 PM
Why are there so many bots here, in Reddit group and answering official tweets? Really bad way to start.

EDIT: Well, it appears this is dead before even started...

We hit a rough patch with international regulations changing and the team shuffling around. One of the core ideas of blockchain is to be transparent with you the community.

I can tell you right now, we are working on totally overhauling EVERYTHING! Once we get back the keys to the reddit, we will be moving into overdrive! That being said, I will keep this short, but you can expect to see some major changes happening this week!

I have been seeing a lot more of these stock market style coins, I really hope one of these takes off, and with a protoype demo being it gives some confidence.

is the goal of this coin basically to write all its data in a bio-data science technique that has yet to be invented? So we then could store vast amounts of data such as the example of 5 billion bitcoin blockchains in just 1 gram of dna.

Holy cow, there is a ton of wallet errors that should be made stream lined. I am also not very sure what the project is about, and why I should spend my time investing into it further, beside it has an impressive amount of translations.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Introducing BitNautic, the Decentralized Shipping Platform for the Web 3.0 on: April 26, 2018, 07:39:29 AM
This project is interesting, now sure how I see the blockchain helping the shipping containers, but there seems to be a strong backing for this.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] [BCL] BitcoinLatina | For Latin America | First EOS-based blockchain ⚡ on: March 30, 2018, 12:53:55 AM
There is no one this project is going anywhere after how many steps and hoops its jumped threw.

John Gotts has left a sour taste in many peoples mouths, by cutting off any discussion about the coin that could be considered unfavorable. If you do not agree with him you are shunned and cast out. This coin reads more as a modern day cult story, than it does as a cryptocurrency. After reading both sides of the theft story. We are not seeing the argument from Johns side, where he basically says people stop coins from him, and started dumping crashing the value of his coin.

He has constantly put a price next to this coin on what it should be worth, and has got mad everything time its fallen blow that. He does not agree with how the market works, and is trying to stay in total control. This is a coin you should avoid at all cost, it is not going anywhere even though it has a solid idea. Its tainted with a huge amount of legal trouble we are not seeing.

There is going to be an investigation into this coin, and it might be interesting to watch its death spiral and John is very dramatic.

Looks like a bunch of nicehashers came in and spiked the diff, to where other projects are more prospective for a tiny miner such as myself. Still something interesting that I will keep an eye on for the future.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Check your risers, miners... on: February 21, 2018, 08:24:25 PM
As always, one of my rigs started to act up whilst I was on holiday. One GPU would start showing 511C errors, crash the miner and the rig within a few sec. Seeing that this couldn't be fixed remotely I cut the power to that rig completely using the tp-link smart plug app and decided to address it when I got back.

It was quite an easy diagnostic:

Flimsy Chinese risers. Always make sure you got a few spares, and don't insist on powering up a failing rig remotely if you suspect there's a hardware/power error.

Always use MOLEX powered cables to avoid fire Smiley

6 pin to SATA is fine too, right?

no never use anything with fucking sata to power risers. in worst case you will destroy your gpu or burn your home

RIP me, since my psu only has 2 pci ports and they are being used for cards. My risers have a 6 pin port, sata port, and a 4 pin port. I just used the 6 pin out of the back. I also use the 6 pin to sata since thats what came with the riser, so I guessed that is how it was meant to be used.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinLatina Coins :) on: February 21, 2018, 08:08:09 PM

Pretty sure this information has nothing to do with BCL and is just making it look worse. Since Christoph Hering is not listed on their team.
