anyone can help me this problem "could not connect to ethash pool asia1.ethermine.org:4444: an operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full". My rig run 2 or 3 day then get this problem, tk a lots

The new beta version is ready. You can download PhoenixMiner 6.0b from here:

PhoenixMiner_6.0b_Windows.zip
PhoenixMiner_6.0b_Linux.tar.gz

To check the integrity of the downloaded file, please use the following hashes (you need the last file PhoenixMiner_NVRTC_Windows.zip only if you want to mine BCI with Nvdia cards under Windows):

The new features in this release are:

  • Implemented partial unlocking of Nvidia LHR cards. By default they are detected automatically, and unlocked with the default unlock intensity (520). If you want to try higher (or lower) LHR unlock intensity, use the new -lhr command line parameter. For example -lhr 580 will try more aggressive unlocking than the default 520 unlock intensity. This parameter may (and should) be specified for each GPU separately as some GPUs can support higher unlocked speeds.
  • If an Nvidia LHR card locks up because of high -lhr (the default 520 will work with most cards), the card will be unlocked again, and the -lhr value will be lowered if necessary
  • Added support for new AMD Windows drivers up to driver version 22.2.3
  • Multiple other small fixes and improvements

The updated list of known issues (driver incompatibilities, etc.) and workarounds:

  • The new Nvidia 3050 and 3080 12GB cards have different kind of LHR lock, which is not supported yet.
  • The latest AMD Linux drivers 21.50 are not supported; the AMD Linux drivers 21.40.2 aren't verified also - this will be added in the final release of 6.0 next week.
  • AMD Linux driver 21.40.1 has a bug preventing proper setting of clocks and voltages on older cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII). Given that these drivers are also usually slower than the older drivers for these cards, we recommend using Linux drivers 20.30 for anything older than RX6000 series.
  • If you are using Linux drivers 21.40.1 with Radeon VII cards, you need to add the option -fpwm 1 in order to have proper fan control.
  • AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1 has finally removed the requirement of PCIe atomics but there are problems when you try to mix Polaris (RX4x0/5x0) cards and Vega or newer cards on the same rig.
  • Some Nvidia cards will report a lot of stale shares under Windows 11. Using the same driver version under Windows 10 resolves the issue.

For more robust integrity check, you can use our GPG public key, which was verifyed with ETH transaction from our main devfee account as explained here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.msg56755869#msg56755869. Here are the signatures for the files in this release:

maybe due to driver?, i find st in this topic https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/issues/1966
From 19.X.X till now all amd gpu drivers support 8gb single memory allocation. You can try installing other driver but your chances are little.
oh, tk u
FIXED: You were right for the driver. Install driver 20.5.1 or later and you will be able to run -clKernel 3. It seems that 8GB allocation is introduced in 20.5.1 driver. I have installed 20.4.2 driver on my computer and got the same message as you "clKernel 3 is ignored", and my "Max allocation size" went down to 4244635648.
tk u, love u so muchhhh...

  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.7b.

Tried the -clkernel 3 on my RX 480 8GB and got lower hashrates than -clkernel 2.
I'm on windows 10 20H2, Radeon Software version 21.6.1
I'm only using the -vmr 25 parameter and -gt 69 as per benchmark suggestion.
Everything else is default.
Your current gt value 69 is not the optimal for -clkernel 3. Put -gt 0 in your settings to find the new best gt value for -clkernel 3. After that you can put -gt NEW_BEST_GT_FOUND_VALUE in your settings.

Thank you very much. I will look into that.

Aaaand nothing changed.
If you have amd rx470/480/570/580 GPUs you will get +0.1mh/s per GPU with -clkernel 3. You will not get increase with Vega, Navi or Nvidia GPUs.
The option -clKernel 3 is ignored for all GPU, when i use -clKernel 3. nitro+ rx570 8g samsung, stock bios.
You are using very old drivers. Update the amd gpu driver.
which version bro? im using 20.4.2

Increase your VRAM to (NUMBER_OF_GPUS+1)*8 GB. If you print the beginning of your log file I will tell you why clkernel 3 is ignored.

Sorry, you can't run -clKernel 3. Your GPUs are some weird model that can't allocate more than 4GB per single memory block. Run clinfo from command prompt and you will find that your ' Max memory allocation:' is somewhere about 4GB. My RX570 has 'Max memory allocation: 8321499136'
maybe due to driver?, i find st in this topic https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/issues/1966
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.6d: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: August 17, 2021, 09:35:08 AM

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.7b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: August 15, 2021, 04:27:04 AM
PhoenixMiner 5.7b is officially released. You can find the download link and the checksums in the first post of this thread.

It is the same release as the one that was posted here as beta version, so if you are already running it, there is no need to upgrade.

Note that 5.7b supports the latest AMD Windows drivers 21.8.1 but it doesn't support the latest AMD Linux drivers 21.30. If you have AMD 6x00 card and you want to use Linux, you should use AMD drivers 21.20 but for any older AMD cards, you should stick with AMD drivers 20.30 (the latest stable PAL drivers without bugs).
Why -clgreen 1 didn't work?

Miner just write that GPU0 is ignore -clgreen 1 option. Polaris cards RX 580 8Gb.
me too, -clKernel 3 is ignore all gpu, hashrate = 0 when -mt 2. rx570 8G stock bios

Update the amd gpu driver.
which version bro? im using 20.4.2

well you got good results. im happy for rx570 to get 28-29
how you getting 30mhs? im getting fucking 19mhs for rx570 core1150 mem=2050
core 1150 mem 2050 too, i download trm & run it, dont do anything else except change wallet

i think my one nvidia based rig is having a similar issue. it's running 2.8c.

it will run fine for 5-50+hrs, then suddenly it crashes, gets the "unspecified launch failure" error, and doesnt auto-restart. i can see that the watchdog triggered, but then the pheonixminer.exe crashes in windows and it hangs until i manually close it. i usually just reboot the system and it's fine. i run all default parameters except only running the -coin eth command, everything else is defaults.

my AMD based system on 2.8c is rock steady. runs for 300+ hrs and never crashes.

this is what's happening.

normally something like this would just trigger the watchdog, but it crashes in windows and just hangs. so it cant restart itself.
same problem..

changed & still problem..

Try resetting your cards to default clocks. It might be overclock related.
but claymore can run without problem.
