1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io ION ionomy. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 20, 2019, 08:49:21 PM
Really in the early days most didn't keep records or pay tax in 2014 it was all about new tech and a free market place. Shit most people would be to scared to admit that they actually made a profit, could you imagine the one called Volder or Russian wanting the IRS wanting to know what their BTC balances are!

If i remember correctly, Volder's real name was Tim.  I remember Volder said he was trying to sell all his hashlets to get into another business venture.  Homero talked him out of it.  Volder got screwed bad.

There are still approximately 18 hours according to live counter to participate. In spite of trying hard I couldn't contribute even some small amount but my support will be for this stunning project. This has been shifted now for my future investment plan on exchanges whenever it will hit any. I don't have big hopes to catch this ICO in remaining hours. It is one of the best investment opportunity those who have made already.

I regretted getting in the ICO.  It was suppose to end on May 20, 2018 but if read carefully their new GAMMA ICO sale, it's a never ending story. People had ask when it will end and they can't give you a straight answer.

A few nights ago Scott was offering to buy back people's XYO coin if people want out .  I asked for a refund but he is ignoring me with the silence treatment.  I also got banned from their telegram channel for asking.  I just want out.

Another issue i have is, they said they will not sell to non-accredited US citizens but don't do anything to verify this.  If you are a US citizens they will still sell to you without any kind of legal documents.  When ask about this their admins in telegram said the buyers are suppose to self comply.  NO ID's required, what a joke.  I don't think the SEC will like that.

*note:  I guess i am pissed for being lied to, ignored, and banned for asking questions.  Sorry for my rant.

Your team is disappointed with the goal of selling tokens and want to raise more money and continue to sell tokens and call it GAMMA.
In the meantime, it would be fair if you list the token exchanged as promised last week

You know what's funny? Their Co-founder & Head of Marketing, Scott Scheper's salesman skills reminds me of Homero Joshua Gaza. check out what happened to Mr. Gaza here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.0.  I must warn you, that thread is  2,400+ pages long.

Hi dev, the ico is almost over right now. It will be finished in less than 24 hours.

Right now you have raised almost 17500 eth, that have a values right now more than 12 million dollars.

I think that is great, but is far from 48 million dollars.

Do you think that this might be a problem?

Today, in XYO's  telegram chat, Scott Scheper, the Co-founder & Head of Marketing had stated that they are way short of the $48M expected ICO funding (as of right now, they have raised 17,500 Eth at $700 = approx. $12.25M).  As a result, a few days ago, they came up with a so called Gamma Sale which is a another ICO.   Another thing they mislead investors saying that coins will be listed at exchanges after the ICO but now, they flip flop and saying it won't be listed for another 6 months.  They have pissed off so many existing investors.  check out their Telegram Community Chat: https://t.me/joinchat/GVfdkUtqtEQ5CC2xXYMqlQ
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ETHERPARTY (FUEL) 🎉 SMART CONTRACTS MADE SIMPLE 🎉 ICO + BETA LIVE NOW! on: October 30, 2017, 10:20:05 PM
Note to self:  1. Don't buy into anymore ICO's.  Wait for it to hit etherdelta as insiders or accredited investors usual dump at 1/3 of ico price.

edited to add:  Early ICO price was 1 eth = 3,000 Fuel.  Later ico price was 1 eth = 1,275 fuel (if I remember correctly).  Now at Etherdelta 1 eth = 10,000 fuel.  If you got in at the latter price, ouch.   Undecided

i brought in at the 1 ether = 3000 Fuel price.  Now I see at etherdelat that people are selling at 1 ether for 10,000 Fuel.  They are selling at 1/3 of the ICO price.  How is this possible?  Are people selling at a lost or am i missing something?  here is the link https://etherscan.io/tx/0x14ac49d979cbf9da64255c0fb275ec88db5a4292d5f9b14da68791f2a213f21b

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] MONETHA - Decentralised reputation with built-in payments on: August 31, 2017, 06:34:19 PM
So many people asking so here you go. My personal review of Monetha vs UTRUST

https://www.monetha.io
https://www.utrust.io

The Monetha Team:
- Small and not even a single software engineer
The UTRUST Team:
- Large and with a highly technical background

Monetha Whitepaper:
- Confusing and hard to understand if this is something really needed
UTRUST Whitepaper:
- Very clear to understand the model just by glancing at the paper summary

Monetha fees for seller:
- 1.5%
UTRUST fees for seller:
- 1%

Monetha Concept:
- Simplistic view and solves no intrinsic problem.
UTRUST Concept:
- Solves a major problem in crypto payments - Buyer protection for cryptocurrency. This is something that is needed for the mass adoption and doesn’t exist. Can be easily used by merchants and private sellers alike.

Monetha accepts:
- Just ETH.
UTRUST accepts:
- All major cryptocurrencies.

Monetha adoption by merchants:
- Limited to merchants that wish to accept ETH and no other cryptocurrencies. Amazon, Ebay, Ali, and many more already have feedback scores, therefore Monethas model will not gain tracking and be adopted by any major merchants. Since it solves no problem, very low appeal to buyers.
UTRUST adoption by merchants:
- Buyers can pay with multiple cryptocurrencies and have a safety net when making their payments, with sellers having a higher selling rate. Will gain organic traction, bringing more clients by referral as they feel more satisfied and protected.

-Monetha adoption by buyers:
- Buyers can only pay with ETH. Feedback score system already exists and solves no problem in practice. Feedback rate is unreliable and subject to false reports and paid bias, as many others.
UTRUST adoption by buyers:
- Buyers can pay with multiple cryptocurrencies. Buyers feel safer making payments with cryptocurrencies knowing that if something goes wrong they can appeal, escalate and be refunded.

If you pay with Monetha and an vendor scams you, the only thing you will be able to do is put a negative review and your money is gone. With UTRUST you will get your money back.

It's your first post with this handle and btw named the people that asked for you bias view.  Quoting so you can't later changed/edit your post.

Don't get me wrong, they (GAW) do have the best customer service in any ASIC company currenlty.  But there are just too much of things going wrong.  and to get things right you have to get Josh the CEO or their people involved.  I don't want to constantly keep monitoring the UI.  I just want it to work.

To be fair any week 3 issues - tracking/hosting/etc - aren't really issues until tomorrow, i.e. when it's really overdue.

I'm still puzzled why they can't have automated monitoring for hosted hardware. I had cobbled together some scripts for my own hardware soon after I got more than a handful rigs, you'd think a hosting service should have that from day one.

Yup, you are correct.  I have brought this up with GAW in my previous support tickets/emails.  There should be some kind of alert that gets sent once hash drops below a predetermined percentage.  Ghash.io has that.  Whenever my miners' hash rate drops, i get an e-mail from Ghash.  GAW should have this too.  This will reduce the amount of support tickets.

I am one of those people that checks my hash rate in like every hour, on the desktop while at work, on my phone while on lunch and about, on the tablet while at home etc..

Gawminer's support site https://hashtrader.com/ is currently down with the message "502 Bad Gateway" .  Today, 06/09/2014, my week 3 hosted Black Widows are suppose to be online and they haven't yet.

My week 2 hosted War Machine is down (it was hashing at just 52-54 mh/s and not the reported 65 mh/ by others).  One of my fury is only hashing at 0.99 mh/s).  E-mailed support about my down War Machine but no response yet.  I tried contracting them thru their website chat, but all I get is " Customer Service
We apologize for keeping you waiting. Our operators are busy at the moment, please leave us a message with your email address and we'll get back to you shortly.
.

I am waiting for their store credit to show up in my account.....today is not a good day for me...

I'll try my best GAW impersonation:

hashtrader.com is not a GAW website and it's definitely somebody else's fault

6/9 has not ended yet in some part of the world, be patient

Support is working overtime because we are so successful, just create a new ticket once in a while and we'll get back to you eventually

E-mail josh@gawminers.com if everything else fails

Yeah, I know I'm not very good at this, sorry.

Reactor, 90% of the posts on this page are yours, would you mind starting a thread in scam accusation and deal with your dirty laundry there?

This is a feedback thread, to give feedback.. you hijacked this thread and turned it into a personal vendetta, you also most likely got 80% of the people that had notified turned on to turn it off.

If you want to talk about Fraud, start a fraud thread with an appealing title... if you want to talk about scam accusation, post it in the right forum... Do it once or twice here but don't hijack the thread... this is a feedback thread for positive and negative feedback and you turned this into a circus revolving around conversations between you and Josh.  We understand they delete your posts, please stop re-posting the same thing times and times and times again.. keep it to new stuff, no point re-posting THE SAME complaint 50 times.
+1

if this is the wrong place, please delete, or let me know and i will delete.

Does anyone have a GAW coupon code or a referral link. Please PM me.   I am looking to make a War Marchine purchase within the next day or two.  We both can benefit from it I think.  I remember seeing it somewhere but can't seem to find it now.
