Terk, I have a request regarding the individual user stats page.  Can you please truncate the Recent Payouts list?  After two weeks of being on the server, the list has grown rather long.  Maybe create three tabs: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days?  Anything past that don't bother keeping as it'll just clog up server space.

I've also taken the time to fine tune all my cards with xintensity and the latest sgminer in order to obtain an optimum balance with the server.  I have my reject ratios nearly inline with the pool's rejects, minus about 2%.  The profits have increased for me by doing that, so I'm happy.

I have noticed one rather strange issue after the last update, however.  I'm seeing "Rejected untracked stratum share from Pool 0" now about every few minutes on every single card.  Any idea why?

Please don't eliminate the long-term pay out history, that would be a big mistake I believe.  However, splitting the payout info over several tabs as suggested here would indeed make sense.

Thanks very much to Terk for all his hard work maintaining and improving this pool.

Hello fellow middlecoin-ers.  Like most of you, it looks like I'm shaping up to have a much lower pay out today than usual.  Still hoping that turns around, in the next couple of hours, but time will tell.

Quick question for you:

I just set up Kalroth's CGminer on one of my rigs, running Sapphire 7950's and was pleased to see it gave me a significant immediate improvement in hash rate and WU.  (Thanks to Kalroth, and to those who recommended this earlier in the thread).

Unfortunately when implementing CGWatcher (latest version) to work on this rig, hardware errors shoot through the roof, and the rig becomes unusable.  I've had no trouble running CGWatcher on my other rigs, running CGMiner 3.72 (all other rigs are running R9 280x's).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The easiest way to lower rejects is to ping each one of the servers and choose 2 or 3 with the lowest ping... Add the lowest as primary and the other as failover-only.

Wait for an hour and then monitor your miner to see what's the percentage of rejected shares. Rotate the servers above if needed until you get it.

AND NEVER USE WIRELESS ... unless you can not mine otherwise

My 10 rigs have some of the lowest rejected rates posted on MC, usually under .2 %, and are running on wireless just fine.

I think the real issue is if you want to run wireless, its important to have a good quality wireless router.

Who is clever enough to make an andriod widget which displays our vital stats?  A version of this perhaps - http://bitcoinideal.eu/middlecoin/index.php?username=1M9B8YxAXRLzSR3J74kZe8uA18ZCQGZFCh

I have a "read to submit" app for the apple store.

Home page:

Details page:

I'll submit it today and it should take a week until apple aprove it...or not.

It's on the Apple store now for Iphone user:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/middlecoin/id795238640?l=fr&ls=1&mt=8

How to use it:
-On first start, wait until the refresh is done (100%)
-Click on the + button to add a worker/bitcoin payment address
-Use the search bar to type some letters from your bitcoin address. If you haven't wait for the refresh, the search bar has no data.
-Click on your bitcoin address that the search bar display
-Give a name to this account/user
-Click on done
-Enjoy Smiley

The estimtated works only for workers that have at least 1 payout.

More features to come in the next update like BTC/mhs/day

Awesome App, thanks very much!!!

I have gone and done this.  I have 2 identical 2.2 MH rigs that I am splitting between hashbros and middlecoin for a head to head test.  Will let it run 7 days and report back next week. Currently, hashbros is estimating my earnings at 0.008329 btc/MH/day but that is fluctuating minute by minute.

Annnnd... I'm back.  Putting a stop to this experiment.  Not waiting a week, 6 hours was enough to know this won't hold a candle to mc.  Over time, hashbros earnings dropped steadily down to 0.0055 btc/MH/day.  It's curious that hashbros has a profitability index yet they don't seem to mine the coins that are most profitable.

I will promptly stfu now.  Maximum payouts trump everything else.

Indeed. We are all here for one reason. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

Well it definitely ain't the "hot chicks". Smiley

For all of you who are looking for statistics and current status of your miners: if the official stats are stalled/broken you can always check the many third-parity web pages which are parsing JSON data and displaying many usefull graphs, see: http://middlecoin.kobal.org/index.php/Main_Page#Where_can_I_see_my_statistics.3F

Thanks, that's very helpful!
8  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Can't get GPU to work in 1x slot. on: January 21, 2014, 05:48:26 AM
Are you sure your motherboard and chipset can handle it? Some disable pci-e slots when others are used. The fans would spin up since it gets power, but it will never be addressed by an OS due to hardware limitations of the motherboard.

But, I never got more than 4 280x cards working in windows. I went straight to linux. I use intel ivy bridge celerons though, and z77 chipsets...

Thanks for your reply, pontiacg5.  I contacted Gigabyte technical support and while they couldn't give me any specific help for this problem as they weren't familiar with the ins and outs of mining, they did seem to indicate that the 1x slot could be used concurrently with the 4 x 16x slots.  However, the mb manual makes no mention of this either way.

However to clarify, I have tried pulling out all other GPU's, and using just the 1x slot (so there would be no slot conflict) and I still can't see the GPU in that slot.  Have tried switching riser cables, trying powered and unpowered, jumpered and unjumpered, and have tried this on two different rigs.

Anyway, any other suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running Gigabyte Z87X-OC mb with Gigabyte R9 280X GPU's.

Am running 4 GPU's on each MB successfully under Windows 8 using 16x slots, half on powered 16x - 16x risers, half directly on the MB.

However, I am not having any luck running a GPU on the 1x slot using a 1x to 16x powered riser.  Have also tried using with and without the presence jumper.  Fans on this GPU spin up, but its not showing up in Windows Device manager or in CGMiner.

Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

Will pay .025 BTC to the first person that can provide me a solution to utilize the 1x slot using my current hardware and Windows 8.

Found the solution (in case anyone else is running into the same problem).  Purchased USB Powered risers, and was able to use my 1x slot right away, no muss no fuss.  Now have 5 x 280X in each rig.
