Not sure if off-topic but Radio-Canada pressed the panic button after reporting that an international network is using fake news and misleading ads to fleece people. More on the subject: reported by CasinoReports.ca.

Short story:

The original article covers a story of a man from Quebec who supposedly won the crazy sum of $13 million after he decided to invest his last $10 to register for an online bitcoin casino. Apparently “If you are from Quebec, you are about to become really rich”.

Following the recent revelations, the misleading articles disappeared from the Internet. Radio-Canada explained that this is a fraudulent cost-per-action marketing (CPA) scheme.

However, such articles and stories spread more and more panic to people that Bitcoin Gambling is not safe which in fact is not entirely through. If shady casinos want to scam you they don't need Bitcoin to do it. It is 2018, you can research almost every Bitcoin casino before depositing your funds!
