3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blatant Scam Darkcoin - Instamine 2 millions drk = 3.5 millions USD !!! on: April 25, 2014, 07:53:55 PM
Instamined or not. It's still pretty much the only new altcoin that brought us something new and useful.

After we went into daylight saving time, my wallet wont sync. Also get an error saying the wallet wont work as it should if my date and time are set wrong on my computer.

I get this message on a lot of different wallets but everyone of them will sync, except DRK.

whyyyyyyyyyyy

WTF   Huh

March 10th I made a transfer of 5700 mzc to my Cryptsy account. I have been on vacation since then and now, when I logged onto my Cryptsy account my MZC balance was 0.
I opened my wallet and let it sync up, and yeah, the transfer is made 5700 MZC has been drawn from my wallet.

Checked the adress 10 times and it is the right one.
Transaction details says 0 confirmations.
Checked the block explorer and cant find my transfer there??

8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: February 10, 2014, 07:35:54 PM
I have located my problem now. (Antminer shuts down after a couple of seconds)

After a few hard resets its clear the problem is the wifi.
Every time I have set the wifi up the Antminer shuts down, and keeps shutting down untill a new har reset is done.

Anyone know why?

Im in contact with Bitmain but it usually takes a few days for an answer.

And yes, I need the wifi to work.
thanks
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: February 05, 2014, 10:02:23 PM
f your PSU and antminer turn on fine, then the PS-ON jumper isnt the issue (assuming it isnt randomly wiggling loose, but then it would cycle on and off a LOT!

sounds like the issue is your antminer if multiple PSUs cause the issue, but im not sure why. try switching the control board to the secondary hashing board and run only that side of the unit.

also, take a multimeter and measure the voltage at the screw terminals. if its outside of 11.8-12.3V you could be having issues
You didn't correct jumpstart your PSU.
Buy a PSU tester and plug it into the motherboard cable with 24 pin and your problem is solved OR read a tutorial how to jumpstart a PSU the right way.

Thanks for the replys.
What I forgot to add was that it was running fine for a couple of days before it started to do this.

Any links around for properly jumpstarting a PSU?
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: February 05, 2014, 08:58:37 PM
My Antminer shuts down after like 20 seconds.

I have tried everything I can think of.

Tried all wires I can think of to connect the green and black wires.
Tried paper clip and whatnot.
Tried running only 1 blade.
Tried cutting the green&black wires and connecting that way.
Tried several PSUs from 650 to 1250W

Anyone? Huh
11  Bitcoin / Mining support / Rig wont start with multiple Gpu's on: February 02, 2014, 10:11:19 PM
Hi.

I have just build my first rig and ran in to some problems.

First I tried it out with just 1 GPU and everything worked fine.
But when I add another or 3 more GPUs the rig will start up, all the fans on all the GPUs will work fine but I cant get any signal to my monitor.
Tried the MBs HDMI and all the GPUs HDMI and still nothing.

What is causing this?

Its 4x Gigabyte R9 280X on a Gigabyte z87x-ud3h mobo.

Anyone?
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: January 31, 2014, 10:54:45 PM
Im fucking retarded I cant setup this shit.

Ip-Config:

Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi 2:

   Connection-specific DNS Suffix  . : glocalnet.net
   Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::e9a2:6455:bad0:ffc6%1x
   IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 92.32.217.24x
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.19x
   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 92.32.217.19x

What I changed the TCP/IPV4 w/e on my computer in order to  access my Antminer

   IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.25x
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

Then I connected my ethernet cable to my laptop and logged into my miner using its IP.

NOW
What should my WAN settings be ?
Nothing works

Reboot.   It might hang.  Then power off and on again. Then log in

Tried it several times :/

After you reboot and login, go to the network tab and verify that the wireless is being issued an IP.

This is the info from my Network page. Any ideas?

My Antminer wont mine..

I finally got it to connect to my wifi, but it wont start mining. I have tried several pools but it wont start.
When I add my pool-info the 'Applying changes' info is stuck at '/etc/config/cgminer ' is this a problem? The pool-info seems to change fine anyway.
Also changed the NTP-server IPs as someone suggested.

plzzzzz halp
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 30, 2014, 03:41:00 PM
I have powered up my miner and connected the ethernet-cable to my laptop. But I cant access the Antminer via its IP.

Whats wrong?

Edit; I followed this (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344970.0) guide at first, changing the network settings and w/e. But now I se other guides that just connect miner and pc and then just type in the IP in the browser to access the miner.

Now nothing works.. Grin

привет

The default gateway on the miner is I believe 192.168.1.1
Most of the latest miners shipped with the ip address 192.168.1.99

So got to your network adapter settings (NOT the wifi the LAN adapter) and change your IPv4 settings to:

IP address: 192.168.1.254
Subnet: It will be set automatically
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Then type your miners IP in your browser

Thank you, nice and easy!
