Could finally put to bed the whole "Dragonmint is a scam" debate... wonder if I could use Augur to bet on it 😉
Not until we see a good video review Hi, we've received many at our Colo (minery.tech) and at Luxor (mining.luxor.tech) we have plenty of hashrate from B29s. Can confirm they are not a scam! I got am email from DHL that my b29 has been shipped. My issue is where do I find a pool to mine decred? More specifically I have setup D3s, and S9s but that was following specific directions for asics to mine on asic pools. Is there am asic pool out there for decred? Yes I can see alot of unboxing pics and videos and we can say that they are as real as it gets.... one thing I do not understand is why they adopted such a bad marketing strategy that made people believe that they are a scam... For DCR Pool you can try https://dcr.suprnova.cc/

Did you follow up about the 3 units for $3,800? Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow and I am interested in the 3x deal to offset paying $3800 for this one
They offer me only to pay second and get third for free. I wanted 2 for the price of one, but nope. I've got papers from DHL, btw the claimed value is 180 USD not 150 USD like Asicminermarket told me Miner is still in Germany :/ Hope they will delivery it tomorrow. So is ascicminermarket scam or not? How can it be scam when he can trace the product via DHL? they are not the best seller but they are not a scam Well they gave me wrong tracking number But once the package got to the customs clearance I've got message with the right number and all the other stuff needed. Sounds good. I am likely to be on Tuesday due to the convenience of the shipping company. It seems that re-ordered (3Pics) also arrive together. Asicminermarket.com seems to reflect too much. I'm expecting at least this fast delivery https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugXAJCiGn7ELOL! yeah these type of errors are common with them Please share with us the condition of the miner once you get it

I am still disturbed by these guys Either they are really a scam or they suck in marketing https://twitter.com/CalvinHe15/status/977183395104014336this is a tweet by a guy who claims that he got his unit from Halong and guess what??!!!! this guy just created his Twitter account few days ago And they also had a tutorial video on how to operate the miner all I saw in the video was an ANTMINER ASIC and a HTML web interface of Halong (PROVES NOTHING) GOSSSSSSH!!!

This could be a good miner the company could end up being a good company.
The coin is too small the total hash rate is too low.
a 2.1th miner using 1300or 1400 watts for a 1420 th network = disaster.
to give a proper scale
the hash for btc is
26,070,479,913 gh so if someone sold a btc miner using 1300 watts it would mine at 37,243,542gh
or 0.0000349 watts a gh
so this miner will kill the network.
The only robust network besides btc/sha 256 is ltc/scyprt
I was just checking the Top miners on Siamining.com and guess what Have a look at this https://siamining.com/addresses/25865daf640696361b432bd517b812270d8459af48f13876108354ee7e028e0e15c13ab5030cThis dude is mining at 1,941 TH/s and his single worker hashrate is (Average) 4000GH/s and I just rechecked Halong website and the Black 2B hashrate is 3.83TH/s and according to his payouts he started mining on 15th Feb 2018 I dont know what to think now Looks like a rolling test of the new blake2b miner ($5549) and looks like most mine around 4th on Siamining. Still must be a kamikaze to purchase and hope for ROI with so much hardware hitting the network and SiaCoin price around $0.014. You guys are confusing the miners. One mines decred and one mines Sia. The decred miner would make $300 a day. The Sia miner makes about $100/day but I feel like that will go down real fast. Decred miner has best potential for ROI Yes they have 3 miners and I was referring to the Sia miner not the Decred miner

Wasn't it listed at like 5599 a day or two ago? They doubled in price that quickly? Think i'd rather buy 10 A3's at that point (yes sucky power usage but ...damn) So I just got an email from Halong Mining and for some reason I do not feel good about it its going for USD 10,499 What do you think? ----------------------------- The email: DragonMint B29 Blake256 Miner (March) is now back in stock at Halong Mining Hi There, DragonMint B29 Blake256 Miner (March) is now back in stock at Halong Mining. You have been sent this email because your email address was registered on a waitlist for this product. If you would like to purchase DragonMint B29 Blake256 Miner (March) please visit the following link: https://halongmining.com/shop/dragonmint-b29-blake256-miner/You have now been removed from the waitlist for this product. There's two different Blake256 miners they offer, the cheaper $5000 one is faster in terms of hashrate but uses more power and is less efficient, whilst the more expensive model at $10K hashes at just 2THs but is more efficient. At current rates the cheaper one makes more, but don't count on anything. This is a D3/A3 situation ready to happen. What? B29 and B52 are different algorithms, Blake256 and Blake2b, for different coins, Decred and Sia I bought 4 of the b29s 😁 Best of luck my friend please share your reviews on them once you get them

I believe that is a different miner offered by them. I could be wrong but either way i wonder how many of these they are producing, anyone have any solid numbers. Even if they dont sell out they will just hook them up themselves. Hopefully though they can compete with bitmain, need another solid asic player in this market It is always healthy for consumers when companies compete with each other hence its good to have a Bitmain competitor to come in. They will fight and we will have options I hope Halon becomes more transparent and give few units out for reviewing (AT LEAST), I just checked the website and they have a Sia miner and the it can mine 2.3 million Sia coin per month at 1250 Watt

Ah I wouldn't even think about them over priced and no communication company By the way Love your reviews (Good Job)
|
|

really, Newbie with 3 activity. Thiis looks like self promoting to me.
Ouch that is harsh i just said that the company does not look legitimate lol on which planet this sounds like self promoting? anyway just to make you happy I would rather wait for Bitmain to come up with DCR miner than risking my $ with a company without any track record
|
|
|
putting the price point aside I am really wondering about the legitimacy of the company I have been looking around and for some reason I cant find a single review from any user about any of their miners (which I find that very disturbing)
|
|
|
Na i dont think its a good idea .. the price is over rated and i personally believe that it should not exceed the USD3,000. I think I will wait for the Obelisk I can purchase 3 units with price of one

For me I will always look for:-
1. High degree of security 2. Reliable reputation and positive clients feedbacks 3. The lowest fees 4. Availability of margin or/and derivatives trading
The rest is a ++

Oh I wish it hits USD1, USD2 or even more but me being realistic and based on my personal analysis Sia Coin will not go above the USD0.40 in 2018
