Ok people . I had to restart my machine on Ubuntu . Ran the wallet and the last 2 days coins just vanished . Where and how do i recover them please . Also is it ok to start the wallet with ./run.sh ? This was a fresh install of ubuntu 16.4 on the server hdd , nothing else on it , i installed BIN wallet and let it sync ect . Encrypted it . Started mining using setgen true . Wanted to reboot and stopped mining using setgen false . Clicked close , asked me am i sure . Clicked exit , then closed the terminal window running behind it . Rebooted ,started wallet then boom all of the coins are gone except for a few i had mined earlier, so 2 days lost . It is showing todays date in the auto backup section and the log file is huge but i am unsure of how to recover them . Not that good at navigating linux.

I also have wallet issue , no active connections , no coins . Best way to recover is ? Stuck on block 68475 . No block source available .

Is there somewhere a decent guide on how to set up multiple masternodes on 1 VPS?
The guide on the first post of this thread isn't bad to get started. There is also a link to a script someone wrote to automatically set up ten nodes at a time. I was able to use that to figure out the details I needed. I set up a vps this morning with 6 master nodes on it. Took about an hour, but it all seems to be up and working. Some points. When I create the vps, I turn on IPv6 support. I then have to modify the networking startup to assign the addresses I want to my interface. I also add a couple gig of swap space. Not sure I need it (I use a 1G ram vps), but better set up now before I start rather than have it run out of memory later. I then create 5 (or 6) directories for the data dir for master node (mkdir ~/.baby1 ~/.baby2 ~/.baby3 etc...). Then then cheat and scp a copy of the whole data dir from another working master node. This is just for expediency as I could just wait for it to download the blockchain. I also bring up one master node at a time. Basically following the guide from page 1 in terms of steps. Anyway take a look at that script I mentioned and ask if you have any questions. There are people here how have created many more master nodes than me. Maybe the Devs could offer a bounty for a full guide written for multi MN set up ? Us Linux newbs need all the help we can get . I would be happy to contribute some baby to it .

Can someone please post what the local/vps baby.conf/masternode.conf files should look like for more than one masternode?
Follow the fast set up guide on page 1 . if you have more than one masternode ,you just need to change your local wallet conf 1. change baby.conf to rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcuser=your user (i used the one in first MN as that is what i set MN 2 up with as well) rpcpassword=password (i used the one in first MN as that is what i set MN 2 up with as well ) staking=1 server=1 listen=1 port=60020 2.change local masternode.conf to mn1 123.123.123.1:55442 MN1.PRIVATE_KEY MN1.TRANSACTION_ID MN1.INDEX_ID mn2 123.123.123.2:55442 MN2.PRIVATE_KEY MN2.TRANSACTION_ID MN2.INDEX_ID and restart you locall wallet put in “startmasternode all false ” to start all masternode! Hope that make sense . port is 55442 This was taken from the Fast Masternode guide on page 1 .

Ok , first MN up and running . During the set up i made a mistake . To double check i had the correct private key i typed ' masternode genkey ' in the debug . This generated another key and locked 10,000 baby into the account . Is there a command i can type in the debug to view this again so i can use it for a 2nd MN ? Many thanks masternode genkey is random It's not very important, one MN corresponds to one GENKEY. Ok but how do i then unlock the 10,000 Baby ?

A couple of questions about the guide , these are from a Windows user perspective , very little Linux experience . There are certain key commands that i do not understand . First i get to here . chmod 777 babyd ./babyd ctrl+c out what do i press ? ctrl+c out . Is out ESC ? I then get stuck here . vi /root/.baby/baby.conf What keys to save the changes in VI then exit ? I also need commands to check it is then running ok in the VPS .
I also now get :~/BABYCHAIN-Linuxdaemon-64bit# ./babyd -bash: ./babyd: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error
Also this ? Next, open “baby.conf” with Notepad and add the following: (change the text in bold) rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcuser=ANY_LONG_USERNAME rpcpassword=ANY_LONG_PASSWORD staking=1 server=1 listen=1 daemon=1 port=55442 masternode=1 masternodeaddr=vps_ip:55442 ???? Do i add my vps ip here ? externalip=vps_ip:55442 ???? Do i add my vps ip here ? masternodeprivkey=PRIVATE_KEY
As it states (change the text in bold)
