Great post and I agree with all of the points mentioned. I don't think you listed the items in any particular order, but if I was to have a go at ordering I would probably put no. 5
networking as my number 1 priority. This is especially true if you are recruiting marketeers from a 'non-blockchain' background so to speak. I think being in and around the blockchain space (by which I mean meetings, events, conferences, webinars etc.) extensively during staff training/induction will certainly speed up the overall on boarding process, and help expose the subtle differences between blockchain and mainstream marketing.
I think there is always the temptation to outsource marketing activity to individuals and companies already specialising in blockchain, at least still for now. But I personally think in order to accelerate mainstream adoption, we should aim to recruit from the widest possible talent pool and share knowledge, practices and ultimately successes across industries.
I really like the first point you made also, 'There is no failure, only feedback'. I think I need to record this and play it back to myself before I go to sleep each night!
