1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility of Bitcoin's value to be zero on: March 29, 2018, 10:06:59 PM
many people have bought bitcoin and do not know why! You also ? and why do you need bitcoin and no gold or dollars? what can you do with bitcoin yourself? Nothing ! and many people know that. Everybody has dollars in their hands. Bitcoin only on the screen or on the paperwallet. and you can buy it only in three shops

Yes I am sure that the American forms of currency had significant value all across the world.  I am also sure that a country of vast size and resources like Russia must LOVE having its currency valued at 0.017 USD.  Isnt that close to the price of MUSICCOIN?

Fiat is 20th century, controlled by the monumentally corrupt and eaten up by the monumentally stupid.  Do you really like asking the banks permission to do anything in your life?  Or to get charged $25 to send money to a friend or family member?  Do you like the government keeping track of your spending?  Oh I get it, you actually like banks giving you less than 1% interest while they go off making 40% for themselves.  What banks are is a legal Ponzi Scheme and what lenders do is called USURY.  If everyone who was a client of Chase went to withdraw their money at the same time from Chase, watch what happens to Chase.  They don't have your money, they are using it to make themselves more money and when you withdraw it, they are giving you someone elses money.  How any idiot could like this status quo is beyond me.

LOL.

Lets see.  You do know that there is not central vault holding Bitcoin.  So as the price drops that means it is being sold on exchanges.  That means as people are selling and selling, there is someone on the other end buying and buying at these low prices and laughing.   So for something to go to $0 in value it would have to mean that nobody wants to buy it on the exchanges anymore.

That could happen tomorrow.  Once you lose the ability to sell, you lost all value.  It happens to currencies around the world and stock, items that nobody wants anymore.

If you were a major investor, would you rather buy at 20k? or lets say 4k? Knowing all the applications coming out the next 2 years from blockchain, this might be your last chance to make another 10 billion dollars.  This is intentional to scare the sheep so they can make money off of you.  Keep selling to them while they get richer.

Here is a better question for you...

Why do we really need banks? I can't think of one.

What is the only difference between a bank and Bernie Madoff?  A bank actually uses the ponzi scheme money to make more money for itself while Bernie didn't.

If you like being screwed every possible way that you can imagine then stick with supporting our current banking system.  However I wouldn't go around spewing really ignorant questions like why do we need Bitcoin? Why do we really need Amazon?  Did we really NEED smart phones when they first came out?  Is social media necessary?  Do I really NEED to see pictures of you eating or working out?

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: dodopool.com on: March 17, 2018, 11:43:21 AM
I have over 2 ETP awaiting payout to my wallet (which is not on an exchange).  It says 1 ETP is payment threshold and you process payments every 2 hours.  It has been 12 hours and no payment.

Is there a problem that I should be aware of?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 2.7c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Windows) on: March 15, 2018, 07:54:37 AM
So far so good...

I have double digit rigs with different card setups, I have not tried Phoenix Miner on any of those yet.  However I did try it on my test single GPU test machine.  It is right now a solo GTX 1070.  It was getting 29 to 30 mhs consistently at 62C on Claymore 11.2, rarely get stale shares with this card.

I started testing Phoenix Miner an hour ago.  I am getting 30 to 31 mhs.  It seems stable, same 62C.  However it seems my Effective speed is lower with Phoenix Miner at ethmine.   Then I noticed that in the short DEVFEE transition, it found 2 shares for the Devs while in the first 30 minutes it found just 6 for me.  So my effective rate(the actual rate measured by how many shares I find) at the pool is still 22.71 mh/s, but after a couple hours I will see if it catches up.  With Claymore my effective hash rate is pretty close and sometimes more than reported hash rate at the actual pool.

Overall it seems stable and if this small 0.5 mhs difference in speed on this one card is legit AND the dev fee is really legit then this looks like a possible better alternative to Claymore.
