1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin do you HOLD in 2018? on: April 10, 2018, 10:43:39 PM
Graft (GRFT)

It's a new coin at low prices, with an exciting and active dev team, including two Monero devs.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What to mine with two AMD Radeon RX570 XFX 8Gb cards? on: March 02, 2018, 09:20:09 PM
Ethash for beginning and I will keep in mind cryptonight algorithm. I know that Vega cards is best for cryptonight but amd 570-580 xfx are good too?! Did you mean that cryptonight algorithm use less electricity?

Yes, 570/580's hash 880-1000 h/s on for Cryptonight, and it uses less electric than Ethash. Ethash is still more profitable atm though.

Is there any discord channel?

No Discord yet, only Telegram.

Ethash for 570/580's ATM. Keep an eye on Cryptonight too, since they are great for that algorithm and it actually uses 25% less electric. Prices are crazy low for that though, so Ethash for now.

Just buy one and test it. I doubt anyone has that exact board and tested it and will read and answer this thread. In my experience with more expensive boards, they half work, where you can add a few extra GPUs with hours of headaches changing the BIOS and reinstalling drivers. If I could do it all over, and when I buy my next mining rigs, I'll just pay the extra $100 for a motherboard that can handle the amount of GPUs I want. Not worth the trouble.

Maybe check the creation date of the thread: July 31, 2015, 05:38:54 PM

Just mine coins before they go to the moon and it's always profitable.

Mining the most profitable coin and buying the coin your speculating in makes even more sense.

True, but new coins not on any exchanges are risky to buy with peer-to-peer transactions and generally have more upside than coins with established open-market value.

Been finding 570's and 580's on Newegg and Amazon recently for $300-$320. Still tough to find and have to get lucky while it stock, but nowhere near as tough as a month ago.

Probably just Nicehash so you don't have to worry about switching to the most profitable coin, then just buy whatever coins you want with BTC.

Don't sell under 40 cents. Nobody. The real price of graft then is much much higher around 40 - 100 times because of the usability. It doesn't . Who sell now will cry

How do you come to that conclusion? i have my idea of where it will be but my estimates are far more conservative than what yours are, tell me how you get to these numbers?

He's a time traveler... While I do think the price will be higher when it hits an exchange than the open market peer-to-peer price, miners have to sell a bit to cover electric costs. Even though I'm selling some for cheap to cover my costs, I'm holding even more  Wink

Started mining Graft because it's the first coin in a long time that actually has potential.
