1  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help poor children in underdeveloped countries? on: April 12, 2018, 06:42:47 AM
Bitcoin is not some magic pill that will solve all problems.

Bitcoin might be able to help reduce curruption on some levels and make it harder for public money to dissappear in the hands of the few (e.g. charity money can be traced on the blockchain and verified what it is spend on).

But for a lot of poor countries, there are more fundamental things that need to change in order to increase the wealth of the countries.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happen with ETH Price ? on: April 10, 2018, 04:50:34 AM
The price usually goes with the trend, it can go up or it can go down regards of the news. I saw that it usually takes up to 3–5 days for bad news or good news to influence the market.

If you would check the news now you would see how many countries are trying to regulate and embrace blockchain technology. More and more projects are starting to get built on Ethereum because it’s the most secure and reliable to use
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you love Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2018, 04:46:23 AM
Bitcoin is among the thousands of cryptocurrencies that uses blockchain technology – a digitalised, decentralised public ledger. Blockchain is a data structure that allows us to make transactions and store information without having to trust a middle man, or even the person with whom we’re doing business. The framework is built on what is known as distributed ledger technology (DLT), where transactions are encrypted and recorded as ‘blocks’. Each block, containing a number of these transactions, gets added to the chain in chronological order and becomes an immutable database – meaning that the information cannot be deleted or changed in any way. Importantly, every node (user or computer connected to the network) has access to the data at all times. Blockchain essentially nullifies the need for centralised recordkeeping. It has the potential to change the way we buy and sell, interact with government, and verify the authenticity of everything from land ownership and personal identities to free-trade coffee.

I think it's a good policy for the Japanese government to deal with money laundering cases. Because Japan is a country that treats bitcoin, a digital currency (cryptocurrency) is like a typical currency. The legality, then drives the use of bitcoin as the underlying asset (base assets) of bonds.

8  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of bitcoin on the financial stability of a country on: April 02, 2018, 04:17:44 AM
The virtual world will be an important part of the future of the world, including the people of Indonesia. Sooner or later Bitcoin and altcoin will play a role in the economy. There is a need for in-depth study and research on this to develop macroprudential instruments and indicators to detect digital currency susceptibility to the financial sector. And this is already part of the task of the government in maintaining the stability of the Financial System. In many countries the presence of digital currencies such as Bitcoin still invites pro or contra debate. Part of the bitcoin counter is a threat to conventional money and closely related to monetary. For some who pro think Bitcoin is tantamount to a regular currency because it has value and the same function

12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: March 31, 2018, 02:30:10 PM
I think it's better to keep bitcoins for profit but all those profits depend on the increase and decrease in the price of a bitcoin. Better to keep altcoin also because when bitcoin prices fall, altcoin prices usually tend to increase
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why the facebook, google are banning cryptocurrency? on: March 31, 2018, 07:22:05 AM
Facebook, has been banning virtual currency advertising including bitcoin since January 2018. Because Google itself is banning it related to malicious or "bad ads" advertising data, which is a series of false, controversial and cyber-crime ads, contained in the Google search engine, to the video network

15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the real problem of man? on: March 30, 2018, 03:26:50 PM
I think the biggest problem of a man is when he can not succeed in any way and does not give happiness to the material and the mind to his family. Therefore we as a man must be smart to make money for a better life for the future
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: March 30, 2018, 03:21:17 PM
for now it's the bitcoin to be the best. but it is not impossible that etherum can take over the popularity of bitcoin. currently bitcoin has some unique features, one of which is token. This token is currently used in many projects. and certainly if the project was successful it will lift the prestige of etherum. maybe this will be a pressure and also a reason developers fix bitcoin
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to deal with stress? on: March 30, 2018, 12:29:43 AM
Weekend is a great time to relax, you can invite girlfriend, friends, family for a walk to the beach or a place that is fun to you. Essentially you make your weekend as happy as possible, with this stress that haunts you can disappear in an instant.

19  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: March 25, 2018, 01:10:52 PM
Not sure Bitcoin alone can reduce unemployment - but using it for payment can make some work more accessible for people, which could have such an effect. Naturally, it depends on how you measure unemployment too - governments and organizations all have their differing metrics for that.
20  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Supermarket Accept Bitcoin on: March 25, 2018, 01:02:49 PM
In my country bitcoin activity is not allowed, therefore from around my residence there is no supermarket that uses payment with bitcoin
