11.2 not working.

I did have it work on 11.0. Also, I have ran this on ethermine pool, and each time I do. After about 3 hours of running it, all my rigs go to "Connection closed by pool". And I loose pool connection to the server I was using for a few hours. Then I have to switch to the Eastern pool.

- For some reason, it does not work for me on the us2 server for very long.

- I went back to regular and have been mining just fine for 2 days. Turned this thing on, and in about 3 hours started getting timeout / connection to pool closed messages again.

- Something is causing my IP to not connect. All firewalls, antivirus is off and I never have issues otherwise.

- Another issue is. 11.2 does mine better than 11.0 does, and even with the 1% fee. If you consider my hash rate is about 664mhs on 11.0 and 671 on 11.2. I get better average hash rate using 11.2.

I have also tried the No fee Claymore 11.0 version, which does not mine dev fee at all. The results were terrible. after 48 hours, my average hashrate dropped, and my payout went from every 22 hours fairly consistent to 24 hours! So, something else is going on. I doubt its just pure luck.

I will keep testing on a rig or two from time to time just to post on here. I do appreciate the efforts, as I believe this incentives Claymore to improve his products with each hack Smiley

Wow, my one rig that had a GPU fail randomly all the time (Junk 1060 3gb Nvidia) cards, now is super stable with the patched claymore!

Is there a way to patch it so it still mines for the developer but maybe only does it every 4-5 hours, and still gives him his 4-5 hours worth?

I want to support Claymore, but wow! What a difference. And I'm already seeing around 5% in hashrate gain with the patched Claymore.
The NoDevFee 8.0 redirect I was only seeing about 2%, and it still did the whole devfee mining reconnect thing.

Thanks Weezy07! You brought life back to one of my poor unstable rigs lol.

Thanks!

I will test this out.
I did run the nofee redirect v8 for 8 hours and it seems to be working as advertised. The only issue is I started having issues connecting to us2 servers startum servers ever since. Getting "closed by pool" coincidence? Even on rigs that never had the program installed. So it's not a virus or anything.

I appreciate the patched version. I'm running it now and testing. I read your readme file, and you are right. I agree about the disconnect/reconnect causing instability. I hope claymore does figure out another way to collect the 1% fee instead of this whole disconnect/reconnect game.

I'm just doing this "Nodevfee" thing to learn and tinker. I noticed that dev fee is hovering around 2.7-3% when I calculate how many shares were taken.

After about 5 hours of testing, I received a message from Claymore that "connection timed out, closed by pool". So I went onto another server.

It seems odd, that all of the sudden, my two rigs (third one is doing the regular fee thing) are getting this error now connecting to the Ethermine server. I read somewhere that this could mean that my IP is banned. Is this true? And if so, why would ethermine care if they suspect a miner is redirecting the devfee?

Would suck to be banned! lol.

Another thing, I noticed that if you get a connection error in Claymore. The "NoDevFee8.0" software stops monitoring for other devfees after claymore reconnects.

Anyway, hopefully not banned. I have multiple internet connections but still. If this thing results in people getting banned from ethermine, then it's definitely not recommended. LOL.
