All cards are still available for anyone interested, just make an offer.
Hm, maybe it would be better if you set the price.

I'm not really sure what to ask for them, which is why I was suggesting people could make me an offer. Ideally I'd like to get maybe $300 for the 290X and $250 for a 280X.

All were used lightly for mining about a year ago, but they've just been sitting in their boxes since.

I have the original boxes for the 290X's. Not sure about the boxes for the 280X's.

I also have 2 990FXA-UD7 motherboards, 1600W power supplies, risers, etc.. These are coming from 2 old scrypt miners, so I'm willing to piece with everything.

Location is 01510 in Massachusetts, USA. Will only do this through a trusted Escrow. Looking for best offers right now.
4  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Sapphire 290x ref. - $350 (or bitcoin equivalent) + shipping on: June 24, 2014, 12:05:51 PM
Good luck man, I can't even get that for one that works perfectly.

Bump.

These are both top of the line cards. I'm open to offers from people.

your prices are hugely inflated

can get the same cards brand new for less even on places like amazon or newegg

They may be a little overpriced for used, so I'll update my main post and lower the a bit.

8  Economy / Computer hardware / WTS 6x 290X Tri-X and 5X 280X Toxic (Sapphire Radeon 3 fans) on: May 29, 2014, 06:37:04 PM
I'm looking to sell 6 Sapphire Radeon 290X Tri-X and 5 Sapphire Radeon 280X Toxic graphics cards.

These were all from a mining rig which ran for about 3 months, but they've never been overvolted and all work like a charm.

I could sell the two mining rigs they're connected to as well, but I'm open to piecing them out for the right prices.

Ideally I'd be looking for $330 for the 280Xs and $480 for the 290Xs.

11  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling 2 Scrypt mining rigs using Sapphire 280x Toxic and 290x Tri-X on: March 23, 2014, 01:36:19 PM
I'm open to pricing suggestions if people think the prices are off.
12  Economy / Computer hardware / Selling 2 Scrypt mining rigs using Sapphire 280x Toxic and 290x Tri-X on: March 21, 2014, 03:26:40 PM
I'm selling two rigs I built. Because of the frame, they are built together into one large section, but will be disassembled prior to shipping.

All GPUs are on 16x powered risers. Both rigs hash with very low error rates. I have also babied all of the cards, with none of them getting over 80C.

Rig 1 - 3MH/s unoptimized (3.75MH/s with additional GPU) - $4500
4x Sapphire R9 280x toxic (750kh/s stock)
1x extra Sapphire R9 280x toxic with powered riser
1x 1600w LEPA gold rated Modular power supply
1x 750w gold rated bnon-modular power supply
1x Gigabyte 990FXA-UD7 Motherboard
Runs at about 78C, less with a box fan

Rig 2 - 4.5MH/s unoptimized (5.4MH/s with additional GPU) - $6500
5X Sapphire R9 290x Tri-X (900kh/s stock)
1x extra Sapphire R9 290x Tri-X with powered riser
2x 1200W modular power supplies
1x Gigabyte 990FXA-UD7 Motherboard
Runs at about 75C, less with a box fan

I never got around to installing the two additional cards I bought, and I can't spend the time to keep working on these. I need to double check that I have the boxes the first rig came in, but I know I do for the second one.

Both are happily hashing at a combined total of about 7.5MH/s (9.15MH/s with new cards).

Trusted escrow accepted and encouraged (Anyone want to escrow for this?). These are located in MA, USA, but can ship to anywhere if you pay shipping.

I will include pics later after I get home. Prices are also negotiable.

Jesus Christ people - Calm down.

For those who can't download the wallet - You're not missing anything.

For those of you calling the dev idiots, shut up. I'm a software engineer, and I know how challenging things can be sometimes. Let him fix whatever needs to be fixed and things will work.

No one can be this incompetent. Were you born yesterday?

I don't think being 30 minutes late to release something is quite as disastrous as some of the people in here seem to think.

Oh it goes way beyond that, as you well know.

No, we don't. We have 35 minutes, a bunch of people pissing and whining about something, and idiots blabbering. Not everything goes as intended - give him the benefit of the doubt.

I'm sure you said the same for the Stack Coin guys.

I'm just saying everyone should give it more than 35 minutes before they start trying to plan a lynch.

maybe you should shut up ...
all should of been tested pre launch ...
now go play with your pocket protector boy!

During launch there are a few things that can go wrong. The site the source is live on (or being uploaded to if he's smart) could be down or slow. This is the majority of what we're seeing.

If you're no longer interested in the coin, then go ahead and leave it to those of us who are. Not everything goes to plan in life.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sapphire R9 290X Tri-X OC Hashrate? on: February 28, 2014, 06:01:21 PM
I've got 2 problems with the tri-x's i'm using:

The first is that a 6th card isn't detected for mining. If I plug it in, I can't mine, but "aticonfig --lsa" shows all 6 cards.

The other is that I'm getting a ridiculous amount of invalids, something like 3-5%.

any idea?
What motherboard, what OS, what pool? 3-5% might be perfectly fine depending on where you are mining and what your ping to the stratum server is.

I'm using BAMT 1.5 on a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD7, and I'm using a pool that usually has a very low reject rate (like 0.3% on average). The cards individually can range from somewhere like 3-10%, but usually average 3-5%.

It may be related, but I keep having one+ cards shutting down. I can't seem to get them to work correctly.

Any idea about using 6?

20  Bitcoin / Mining support / BAMT issues on: February 22, 2014, 05:22:52 AM
I have a new mining rig I've setup with 6x R9 290X's, and I can't get BAMT to notice them.

Using aticonfig, I get this: aticonfig --lsa * 0. 01:00.0 AMD Radeon R9 290 Series 1. 02:00.0 AMD Radeon R9 290 Series 2. 03:00.0 AMD Radeon R9 290 Series 3. 06:00.0 AMD Radeon R9 290 Series 4. 07:00.0 AMD Radeon R9 290 Series 5. 08:00.0 AMD Radeon R9 290 Series

    - Default adapter

Which tells me that Linux as a whole is seeing the cards, but cgminer won't use them for some reason.

I've tried all R9 versions of BAMT (1.2, 1.3, now 1.5), and I can't get it to work.

Any ideas?

I'm also getting some errors, which I think may have something to do with the issues (either causing it or as a resultof it).
