Site has been dead tried to contact owner unresponsive I got my coins in there what if it were you pool owner, should let everyone know the status of this site or else I'm marking this pool as a scam!!!

Be patient.  Mine somewhere else while it is down.  The site had an issue yesterday too.  I was able to get my coins eventually.  All hope is not lost.

I do not know how to setup a pool.  The have heard that the reason doge pools are slow is because of big DDoS attacks aimed at them.

They are doing server optimization. It will likely get better when they are done. The news section on the site has this info.

This pool is not working properly.  I recommend not using it until it is fixed.  The stats have not updated in hours.
? It seems to be working fine, we still have not got any blocks!

We need your help to hash! Join us in digging!

It is working now.  Maybe I was doing something wrong.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / 2.0x16 versus 3.0x16 PCI slots ? on: December 18, 2013, 08:21:32 PM
Will it make a difference in hash speeds having a motherboard with 2.0 x16 PCI slots using 3.0 x16 capable video cards?

I have not been able to find any mention of this in any of the rig building guides or elsewhere.

Toxicwind

What is up with the pool?  I mined all night and earned what I can mine in 30 minutes at a different pool.

Also there are fees applied to my account.  I thought this was a fee free pool.  Did that change while I was asleep? Smiley

dogepool.pw is running smooth.  It had some hiccups but the sysadmin made sure to pay out all of the users.  Go register and hash away with us.

What is up with this pool?  Is it gonna come back?

Just relaunched, should be stable now.

I never got a verification email.  It has been about 5 minutes since I signed up.
This has been fixed, please enjoy the pool!

I can verify.  It has been fixed.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Laptop Mining on: December 18, 2013, 07:57:13 AM
Hi everyone Grin, I'm fairly new to this all and I have a couple of questions.

I've been mining qrk on my laptop using the cpu (sandy-bridge pentium 987) at roughly 55kh/s which from my reading is pretty average for cpu mining. I'm keen on giving the gpu mining a go but my laptop uses the Intel HD integrated graphics. Would this chip still be viable considering it has 6+GB of memory available?

Second question: Is the difference is hash rates ~3 with dogecoin vs ~55 with quarkcoin, due to difficulty, pool size or the mining style being used? Huh

Edit: 10Kh/s with dogecoin currently.

Depending on the chipset you integrated graphics should be usable.  The litecoin hardware comparison guide is useful.  https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Multiple instance of miners yield the same as 1 miner, with same total hashrate? on: December 18, 2013, 07:38:35 AM
Is the probability of finding a block the same for both? 1 miner window for both GPU, or 2 miner windows?

My guess is that the probabilities are virtually the same if not identical.
