Hi all,

The whitecoin team have moved to www.xwccore.com and will be sticking with the old chain, no swaps, no charges and more importantly your coins!

They all are working hard to keep xwc a coin for the users and make sure the users keep those coins.

They next version of the wallet will be 2.5.4 and is close to release.

Once ready you can get the wallet at https://github.com/WhitecoinCore/whitecoin

Feel free to drop into discord and chat with the whitecoin team at https://discordapp.com/invite/fsWkUMD

Nice one whitecoiners Smiley

Ok so...

Why burn and why force people's hand? Surely there needs to be some form of backup which rewards people for supporting your inital backcoin project.

As i see it we are being forced into deciding on which chain will win but based on nothing other than guesswork.

Please people jump in and correct me but i don't see an argument for this other than a deadline.

Ok so these questions are still valid and pretty much ignored...

You are asking for people to burn coins into the void... Information is needed.

What is the tech
Where will it be listed
What is the total supply

I know crypto is crazy but throwing coins into a fire randomly is no way to invest...

Burning is voluntary.

You can choose to continue holding BLK..

BLK is still an independent project.

I will burn part of my BLK, and I will support BLN too..

Of course it's voluntary, that is not my point. Maybe i did not state my questions clear enough.

1. Other than the promise of more coins on a different chain, what is the incentive to burn the original projects coins (his) which i have given support to over the last 4+ years. What is the roadmap, where are the confirmed exchanges and what incentivises me to do so? (please fill these in because i would like to know)
2. As i am burning my coins to support this new chain what is the marketcap, what is the initial supply and where are all the things i need to know.
3. This project needs more information, i am a long term holder and supporter of blackcoin so why am i rewarded with chose or die? Surely a coin for coin swap for early supporters would be better as we have put this coin where it is today.

Ok no worries guys, managed to tack the issue down to a corrupt file in the txdb directory. Removed it and now resync! Smiley

p.s. we need a 2018 bootstrap!

hi guys,

When i run the wallet it errors and when i --reindex it also errors..

I'm reluctant to delete the chain as it took about a month last time i did to redownload lol  Cry

Does anyone have any clues on this? Or can supply me with a complete up to date bootstrap? Smiley

Can anyone go over the improvements in Whitecoin V2.0?

it looks like staking coins is a lot different.

I agree whats the deal with staking?

Is there an optimal block size?

I have a reasonable amount and not staked in days...

please update your nodes.

i will delay the update for the new web wallet to give ample time for witnesses to have their nodes updated.

Pool is approaching 50% nethash threshold (Currently about 48.8%).

Thank testbug for that wonderful contribution but without releasing the pool code, you are helping killing the coin faster by centralization of its mining and botnets will come even sooner.

I'm back to solomine even if it's futile now.

Good luck to all VRM miners.

So ours days are numbered... 51.2% welcome to botnetland.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DARKNET [DNET] QRK ALGO - PoW/PoS on: September 13, 2016, 10:41:14 AM
Replacing wallet.dat with old backup fixed the problem with these two errors. Wallet now staking.

will try now mate.
reindexing....

Confirmed, this fixed my staking. Now to work out why nodes keep going missing... :/
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DARKNET [DNET] QRK ALGO - PoW/PoS on: September 13, 2016, 08:01:40 AM
anyone else having issues with staking not activating in the new windows wallet?
Also masternodes are now going missing more, still no rewards from them but rebuilt them yesterday so hopefully today (for the ones that managed to stay enabled anyway..)
