For beginner, you shoult invest in top 10 coin like BTC, ETH, LTC...and hold for long-term, it will give you profit but need your patience, before that withdraw your profit and invest in some ICO coins maybe a variant. Remember never all in with 1 coin!!!

How about just stay away from all the small market cap non institutional backed stuff. Rule of thumb is if its not on a serious exchange like poloniex, bitfinnex, or binance then its probably a scam
