9  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Usenet provider for bitcoins? on: June 07, 2011, 10:31:23 PM
One of the most obvious services to pay for using bitcoin is usenet.
Which usenet providers accept bitcoins?

I know only this one: http://www.chundle.com/bitcoin
but it is still too expensive. I am searching something in the order of €7.50 per month.

you can use bitcoin2cc to generate a virtual visa, pay anybody you want. probably other merchants in marketplace with virtual visas

newshosting.com is a good one i used to use. giganews probably the cheapest
10  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Mt.Gox has a Bitcoin withdrawl limit? (Rant at operators of Mt.Gox) on: June 07, 2011, 10:26:08 PM
Do I understand this correctly that we will be able to raise (disable?) our btc withdraw limit while staying anonymous?

you can always make more than 1 account you know just like how liberty reserve users get around the $10k limit

11  Economy / Exchanges / Re: www.BitcoinExchange.cc - Western Union, MoneyGram, Bank Wire, ACH, Dwolla on: June 07, 2011, 10:18:26 PM
You can use this guy to buy bitcoins with your Visa/MC up to $200 for little fees

Go to www.buywmz.com
Get a WMZ card
Send BitcoinExchange the codes

Profit

Works with $USD/EUR/UAH cards only
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Senator Charles Schumer Pushes to Shut Down Online Drug Marketplace on: June 07, 2011, 06:56:52 AM
'the farmers market' has been around for 11yrs almost and is 'the ebay of drug selling' but they're more discreet about it since they use traceable payments through Pecunix and have PayPal cashiers.

there's around a dozen forums like p1ponline that are full of vendors. most of the hacker forums have drug sellers in europe, this is nothing new just Gawker made it sensationaltastic and buddy needs votes i guess.

lol @ 'seize the silk road domain' deerp tor

really all they can do is pose as sellers selling enormous amounts of drugs and hope to snare somebody. or attempt to trace a large bitcoin payment into cash that makes it's way back to the vendor.... would be very difficult in court for any lawyer to prove the coins that went through escrow and a half dozen other addresses were all headed to you specifically for drugs. much easier to get the low hanging fruit like all those illegal epharma websites making multi millions a year
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Senator Schumer Says Bitcoin Is Money Laundering on: June 07, 2011, 06:45:23 AM
if anybody is in the US and trading bitcoins openly for cash/wires simply change your site and ads around to say 'credits' instead of currency or dollars. that will save you at least 10yrs off your bid as it will be more difficult to prove you are subverting the fed reserve for evil terrorists purposes (yes they will accuse you of this)

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/09/AR2006100900993.html

"the U.S. Mint, which would like to remind Liberty Dollar users that since the United States already has its own currency, the only thing Liberty Dollars buy in these parts is a jail term." this is basically the same excuse they used to jail dozens of Liberty Reserve/Pecunix/Egold exchangers in the US and the reason why you won't find 1 person anywhere within US borders trading them today
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins is doomed to fail because everyone is hoarding, no one is spending. on: June 07, 2011, 06:37:56 AM
I have noticed lately selling is instant where when I dumped 2500 in coins on MtGox before it usually took a few hours to complete the order, or days
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LulzSec gets $7000 dollar bitcoin donation on: June 07, 2011, 06:34:02 AM
FBI probably sent it to them. they have been known to donate large sums (probably couldn't buy enough bitcoins) to follow a trail. Probably figure they will blow half of it on VPS hosting and apache0day on carding forums for ownage then withdraw the rest for themselves.

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Senator Schumer Says Bitcoin Is Money Laundering on: June 07, 2011, 06:29:36 AM
the US says this about every ecurrency. we all knew this would happen.
if you are exchanging bitcoins 2 liquid traceable currency within the US borders you should be afraid, they will start rounding up victims like they did in the 90s
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins does not serve any benefits to the human kind. on: June 07, 2011, 06:26:45 AM
doctors push pills for pharma, firemen get drunk and fight with cops, astronauts explore the inside of a space station and do research for Dupont and the military. cosmonauts slingshot around the sun and punch you in the balls for trollinalongtheforums

@LulzSec just took a $7k BTC donation and announced it was using it to buy servers to pwn the FBI lol
Oh, jesus.  This is bad.

Not as bad as #1 enemy of USA Wikileaks accepting Bitcoin donations. The moment Wikileaks started accepting it it was a doomed currency, you know eventually clownshoes American's would try to go after it. Just be sure you aren't a US based exchanger or you will get picked up by the Secret Service like that guy peddling the Liberty Dollar in Florida, and every single exchanger in the 1990s crackdown

Still nothing they can do except harass their own citizens trading it, rest of us and our coins are fine tho

they would find other excuses to demonize Bitcoin.

there's other ways to get paid anonymously if you know what your doing. lot's of carders run cleaning services for LR and WM/WU

i can see them going after MtGox. i hope he has an offshore domain name and hosting

Silk Road is not the end of Bitcoin. Bitcoin itself is evil enough in the eyes of the excited states, remember what happened to E-Gold? EBullion? All the arrested LR and Pecunix traders in the US? yeah
