steemit needs a bit more marketing, but its starting to grow. i would have though with people getting paid, that it would have grown a lot faster. problem is, one of the original founders, Dan Larimer, has left and is now at EOS

some are. ive received a couple like CNX and WOLK that are complete bs

I actually feel that other coins may surpass Bitcoin. Many coins have lower to no fees, faster transaction times, and are better tailored to specific use cases.

depends on the country. i know in china, you can't actually hold Bitcoins (or any other cryptos for that matter). you have to go through a service that buys and holds for you

check out America's poker room or Coinpoker.com. both use crypto's for poker
|

unless you know crypto really well and have done a ton of research, just play it safe and spread among the top 10 coins in terms of marketcap

especially if Apple somehow integrates a crypto payment option with Apple Pay

bittrex was actually created by 2 hawaiian guys. but you can use any exchange that the mainland users have access to like binance, coinbase, etc...
