Thanks buddy! I am going to go through my idea of mining, at least I will try. In the other hand I have just installed Bitcoin-Qt , and it takes ages to initialise , how much time does it take to sync with the network?  Grin

Oh man don't discourage me  Wink I don't want to lose money but I really like the idea of mining and participate in the btc network. But obviously I don't want to lose my money. I thought the ASIC miner hardware had low consumption, isn't it?

Hi everyone,

I have just discovered this forum and I am overwhelmed with all the information I have found.

I want to start mining bit coins but everybody is saying is too late, money ripoff. Still looking to buy a ASIC hardware for a fair price. Any advice? I do not plan to get rich faster, I like the philosophy of the criptocurrency, and I want to do it by hobby and to experiment. Hoping to learn and have a good time meanwhile.

Thanks in advance.
