Has the coin been sold already?

Same question. This would have fetched more than 1.55 at auction, IMO

I am now coming to the same realization....

There will always be a, should-a, could-a, would-a tho...it is done now.

That is what the holders are for....protection?

J/K, I know, I became more careful with them when they got worth more.

I use to (show)carry that one it to every BTC event and meetup(It was the first one I ever bought).

I wonder if they could put a new plastic slab on it, and still retain the old style yellow label.

Thanks for posting the pics, for me.

And LC, I still have the tenth, but I peeled it last year. I didn't think there would be much value in it as much as the btc that ended up on it.
But I still have the peeled coin.

I considered peeling this one, and may still, because you know if the premium is not much above the stored value, then it is not worth the risk/hassle of a transaction, now-a-days. And the peeled coins still go for a decent amount, eventually.

Hi,

Assuming all are in cull condition, and no key dates, a good price for 90% US junk (the Wikipedia list posted up thread accurately names 90% coins) is 12 - 12.5 times Face Value (FV).
ie:  1 $ of face value would be sold for the equivalent of 12 - 12.5 USD in BTC

The Morgans, again assuming cull condition, 15 USD each.

Is there any interest in some older US silver coins. Mixture of denominations from 1930 thru 1966. Some Morgan dollars also. Coins are in ok condition, so melt value probably.

I would be looking for about 15$ per ounce in Bitcoin.

If there is interest I will post pics etc.

Willing to escrow.

That would be quiet an aggressive position on coins, you must be including some numismatic value to junk silver coins.
Melt would be closer to 10 x face, for just the silver content.

anyone interested in this deal would need to know exactly how many are newer than 1964. and what they actually are.

'65 and '66 coins would be 40% silver, if any at all.(very few have silver)

spot x .9 is like 13.80 round about there.

spot x .4 is like 6.20 or round about there.

So pics, or a detailed inventory would be prudent.

added link to melt values.

not a very smart scammer,as anyone can see the auction has a ways to go.
