Please fix the withdrawal issue!! I have tried 4 times, but the confirmation email arrives too late!

We will be waiting for the comeback of crypto and Winminer! May the markets be Bullish once again!

anyone has problem mining ETH or ETHO? I keep getting 0 MH/s on my AMD RX 580. This started last week. Before that, everything looked fine. thanks

No problem mining ETHO for an RX580.... But i have problems with CLO lately. Miner opens, card runs to full, but... no result and miner closes after a while and retries many many times.... till i switch it off Sad

Could you PLEEEEASE add an option for the number of cpu threads to be used? Pleeeeease!!!! Smiley

And i explain: If you run GPUs in a pc with a decent cpu (like core i5 or i7) you can also use the cpu to mine. BUT some coins with small dag file can use all cpu cores and this leaves the machine without processing power to send data to the gpus, so they act as if they have a problem and only mine a couple of coins!! And every time such a coin is introduced the gpu miner stops working properly and we have to manually solve the issue and redo the benchmarks...
Now i know you can modify the cpu file of the miner and this works fine, but every time you update the miners the same problem appears! It is not good for us to check every now and then if the miner has updated for these 2-3 coins and if there is a problem again. If you add an option for choosing the cpu threads to be used then it will be solved for ever. Please consider it.

Also, it would be great if you could separate the benchmarks for the cpu and the gpu, and the selection of coins for the cpu and gpu, so we can choose which ones will be mined for each one of them.

Thanks for listening to us. Keep improving, we support you! Smiley

Totally agree with the previous comment. It would be good to be able to change machine settings (miners, coins etc) from the web or mobile app, without needing to remotely login to the machines.

I would also recommend to have the option to see the total money mined per rig, so we know which one is working more efficiently. Also, please let us see the results for more than 3 months ago, up to the beginning.

Also, please include an option for selecting how many cpu threads to use. It is important. For example the recent addition of AEON caused me a lot of troubles due to usage of all 4 cores of my core i5 and the gpu could not mine half the coins because of very slow data transfers from the cpu (100% cpu usage). I had to disable AEON to fix the problem!

Thank you for listening to us. Smiley

I have a couple of suggestions for the dashboard:

1. Please roll out the mobile app because now it is problematic to see the dashboard in mobile phones

2. It would be nice to be able to see more than 3 months ago in history

3. It would be nice to be able to see the total earnings per machine, so we know how much money each of our rigs has made. We have different configurations and it would be nice to be able to see the total sum of money made.

Thank you for hearing us! Keep on improving! Smiley

I did some tests and suspect that mining ZEN, ZEC or ZCL might be the problem. Winminer is mining them normally and reports earnings, but... eventually they do not show up in the graph, nor do they register in my account!
So, does ZEN or ZEC mining require a long stable mining time to register coins in Winminer? That might explain the issue.

I have disabled these coins and wait to see the results...

EDIT: I've contacted Winminer help again and they solved the issue. Moreover they registered the "lost" mining effort in my account! Many thanks to them for all their help. Smiley

I am lately having big issues with my earnings. If i look in the 12 hour graphs both my pcs seem to have gaps (zero earnings for 1-2 or more hours) or very low earnings (5 times lower than normal). Does anyone else have this issue?
Facts:

1. Both systems were unchanged. They were working nicely in the past.
2. This is not an overclocking issue. I have reduced the frequencies to stock and the problem remains.
3. i disabled GBX mining just in case...
4. Both pcs run stable with windows 7.
5. The miner window seems to run for 10-20 minutes, then closes and starts again. I suppose this is not an issue because it was happening in the past.
6. I have 2 R9 270 cards. No issues with power supply etc.
7. In one of my pcs i reinstalled the AMD driver and it fixed the problem for a few days, but then... it appeared again! And now it cannot be fixed. I also installed windows again, latest drivers etc... and the problem is worse!!

Could this be an issue with the latest Adrenaline drivers? Or an issue with winminer application not working for some time?
I have submitted error reports and hope to find out something.
If anyone has an idea please help!
Thank you.

EDIT:
I think i have an idea what the problem might be. Yesterday Winminer was running fine on both pcs, but in the online dashboard one of the pcs was completely offline!!! I double checked that winminer is running fine and it was! So, i quit and restarted it and... it appeared online again! So, it might be a server problem not registering my cards or a miner issue crashing and not coming back online properly. Who knows.... Sad
I am making half of what i used to make a few days ago!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WinMiner v1.119a - auto switch windows app for multi miner optimization on: May 02, 2018, 10:30:11 AM
I am lately having issues with one of my cards (R9 270) displaying zero earnings in the daily graph for one or more 10-minute intervals. It might run for a day and then there are some gaps (zero profit). I have reverted the frequencies back to default, rebooted and even cleared the benchmark data, but it appears again and again.

I have submitted a report and wait for the answer....

Also, i noticed that it switches to GBX coin for no reason, reporting a false high price for 5 minutes and then it drops back to normal, so it changes back to ubq or xmr. This happens a lot of times during the day. Can you please fix these erroneous changes? Maybe increase the time that a coin has to sell high in order to be selected in winminer?

Thanks a lot.

OK, it looks like mine, but maybe a tiny bit more stable.
However, i just noticed that one of my two computers is not producing a stable output in some days... Maybe i should decrease frequencies a bit.
Do you run winminer in full benchmark mode or in automatic mode? Which one is better overall?
Thanks

Can you post a picture of the daily earning graph? (just zoom in a day until details appear in the statistics page) Mine is fluctuating a lot during the day and i am wondering if my cards run stable or not...
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WinMiner v1.119a - auto switch windows app for multi miner optimization on: April 21, 2018, 08:21:39 AM
I've seen that too lately with  GBX coin. But it mines for a few minutes, then the earning reported comes back to normal and miner switches to another coin as it should. So it is probably a hickup of winminer and we are loosing a bit of money for those minutes... Also check the earnings (graphs) by zooming in. It doesn't show any spikes for that period most probably...
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WinMiner v1.119a - auto switch windows app for multi miner optimization on: April 19, 2018, 07:19:33 AM
Can you add a button for choosing the number of cpu threads? That would be nice.

Also, can we somehow lock the number of cpus used and more importantly the cache? Because i noticed that if i use my pc while it is cpu mining then the cpu hashrate drops and never comes back to normal, unless i reboot!

I have an old Nvidia GTX 460 gpu and would like to use it for mining, although it is slow. But it has only 768 MB of memory and doesn't mine at all! Can i use a trick to make it mine? Power consumption is not an issue for me.

Thanks
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WinMiner v1.119a - auto switch windows app for multi miner optimization on: April 17, 2018, 09:04:30 AM
OK, the e-mail problem is fixed now and i managed to do the withdrawal.

However, another thing i notice is that when i run the pc in full benchmark mode winminer sometimes erroneously switches to GBX and mines it for a few minutes, but with an erroneously reported very high price, then after 3-4 minutes the price drops down to half and it continues to mine for a while, then stops the miner and start something else. This has also happened with some other coins in the past. I think it is loosing money that way, since it is restarting the miners too often and sometimes in the daily graph i see that the money earned drop down to almost zero (for a timeframe of 10 minutes), then raise back to normal.

How does everybody run their miners? In full benchmark mode or automatic mode? Has anyone compared these modes?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WinMiner v1.119a - auto switch windows app for multi miner optimization on: April 16, 2018, 03:44:46 PM
I would definitely be interested in the Linux version, as long as it had the same functionality and miners with the current one. Many people would like to get rid of windows installations and use a light linux one.

Another thing i would like to have is a mobile application to see balance and miners running etc. Just the basic functionality, like it is now in the web view. When do you expect to roll that out?

Third, i see that there is a problem with money withdrawal to paypal. I have tried twice to do it but the confirmation email takes too long to arrive and i just miss the 10 minute window!! My email has no problem, i've checked it many times. So, please, could you increase time margin to 15 or 20 minutes?

Thanks
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WinMiner v1.119a - auto switch windows app for multi miner optimization on: April 13, 2018, 09:07:34 AM
Thanks for clarifying a few things Team Winminer. It is good for us to know! Smiley

However, i still cannot fully understand why my reported earnings have gone up by just 10-20%, while the ubq price has gone up by more than 60%. Mining hashrate is the same for me, so it should have gone up more. Can somebody else compare his earnings for the last few days?

Also, i have noticed that the real earnings are less than the estimation and that is because the miner is restarting too often! If i stare at it it often restarts every now and then and still mines the same coin again. I am using full benchmark mode. Is this normal? If i zoom in the daily earnings the graph is not constant at all and goes up and down a lot! (sorry couldn't find a way to post a picture here...).

Should i use full benchmark mode or the recommended auto mode? Does anyone have experience with this? I noticed that the full benchmark mode may sometimes enable the twin mining operation, but this increases card temperatures a lot...

As a small miner i am only interested in getting Euros, but other people would find it nice to have BTC or litecoin options, so yes, it would be nice!

Finally, when a new version is out, i try to restart my PCs, as the program crashes or doesn't work properly. So, same issues for me too!

Keep up the good work guys. We would like to see new things from you!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WinMiner v1.119a - auto switch windows app for multi miner optimization on: April 11, 2018, 06:27:02 AM
I have a question now:
How does winminer exchange/sell the coins we are mining? Is it selling them real-time? Is it holding them and exchange when it is better?

I got this question because lately i am looking at the earnings vs the coins price at the current moment/day and i can't figure out how winminer is reporting earnings. For example yesterday UBQ coin went up by 40-60 % and stayed there for a few hours, while at the same time winminer was mining it for almost the same price as the previous day!! And finally my daily earnings were lower than the previous day!! So i am wondering.... is it selling the coins at a suggested or expected price and keep a safe margin for them?

Does anyone have a clue about all these? Maybe this is why other miners get a 20% higher income, compared to winminer.

Thanks.

Concerning hash rates and payment in real money i have to say that i did some basic tests to find out how efficient winminer was. I tested nicehash for a few minutes and then run winminer and compared the money they both claimed to make. Winminer was slightly less (but in one occasion it was slightly more!), but not as much as 10-20 %. Maybe just a few percent.

In order to be able to test this in real life you have to mine a specific coin and see how many coins you make in one day. This is the only way to test the efficiency! Otherwise if you look at the money made each minute it changes every half an hour or so... Even more, in the last couple of days i see that one coin might go up and down by as much as 20-30%!!! Money making has gone down in the last 2 days by at least 30%, which is crazy. So, if we want to compare, we should look into the coins made, but winminer does not report coins. So another way is to test winminer for a few minutes, and then switch to another miner, like nicehash and compare immediately. Otherwise prices might change and the result is different!

Of course, the best thing to do is to have two identical systems and run one with Winminer and the other with Nicehash and compare the outcome after one day of use. They would run the same time and at the same exchange rates, so the comparison would be fair. Maybe someone with two identical graphics cards can do it for us and report here.

I find that winminer is useful for people who want to hash with small systems and get some money, while it might also be good for larger systems. But for serious mining setups you might be better with keeping the coins and selling them when the price is right.

There is also a fee for selling coins or exchanging them, so we should keep that in mind too.

Finally i believe that if this price plunge is continued, then most people will shut off their machines, because it is unprofitable any more, unless you do not pay for electricity. Hope the situation recovers...
I am sorry but your test for a few minutes does not validate any of your finding and it is not what I did to make my assesments.
Since NiceHash gives you real time profitability relative to the hash rate registered at the exact time you refresh your browser, which ofcourse fluctate a lot during the hours. So testing for few minutes does not give anywhere near the real life earnings you would get.

To get a clear picture you need to mine for at least  24/48 hours and then you get an average of the earnings per day, which is a proper assesment of the performance provided by the different pools or systems.
Winminer, come short of at least 20% than mining Nicehash or for example ETN, ETH at Nanopool, which I have done extensively for 6 months by now.

As per exchanging those coins per USD, EURO or else ,it hardly get more expensive than few pennies or 1 dollar in the case of BTC.
Winminer is getting a very good "cut" for doing those transactions on your behalf.
I understand they need to have a wide "spread" on order to protect themselves from fluctations, but obviosly they do it on order to protect their earnings and not giving you a fair deal.

I give you an example:
I mine ethereum directly to my wallet at Kraken exchange. I mine about 0.3 ethereum per week. Nanopool takes 1% fee then sends the ethereum directly to  my wallet at Kraken for no fee. At that point the value I get form a dedicated pool, averaging the value of the coin for the given day, is roughly 20% higher than WinMiner's. I exchange what ever amount of Ethereum I received from the pool, for exmplto to Euro, for letterally few pennies. Then I can wire Euros to my bank account for 0.15 Euro per transfer. All transaction combined with nanopool fee hardly gose above 2%. Not mentioning that software developer fee that is applied by any of the miner, it is also applyed when you use Winminer mining with Claymore, Stak, Cast etc...

This apply also for ETN mined at Nanopool, although I have to exchange it first to BTC in Cryptopia before sending it over to Kraken. The cost of it is still very minimal and gives me 18/20% more than using Winminer. BTW it takes a few minutes to do all this transactions and you can do it when ever you prefer.
I use Kraken, but you can use any reputable exchange of your liking, that has low fees for wiring in the currency you prefer.

take care!

I agree with what you said here. Just a few minutes of comparison is not drawing any safe conclusions. But i have watched the fluctuations in earnings and they do fluctuate a lot day to day, so it is not safe to run a system for 24 h using nicehash and then run it next day using winminer and compare. prices may go up or down by at least 10-15%. So the best way would be to run two identical cards or systems for one day and compare them. This would draw a safe conclusion. But unfortunately i do not have 2 systems to test.... Maybe someone else curious to find it out could do it.

For the moment i find that Winminer is an easy way for people who have a spare system and they need to mine easy and nice without all the trouble of making accounts, pools, wallets, keeping an eye on exchange rates etc. It is all too easy for you, but it might earn you less. However, if you have a serious system with many gpus then you'll have to try elsewere.

As for the XMR hardfork i am seeing that we are almost back to where it was (a bit higher, but it is diminishing.). Hope that things will get better...

Also, when there is a new update it updates automatically, but the program stops after that and i need to log in the computer and start it again.
