3  Economy / Economics / Re: The role of Crypto in eliminating fossil fuels dependence on: September 02, 2018, 06:23:46 PM
In the transition to a new energy world, decentralised, digitised and decarbonised several use case applications have already been developed using blockchain technology, such as automated bill payments, electrical vehicles charging and sharing, and renewable cryptocurrencies.
Utilities and grid operators also become more efficient by being able to balance supply and demand in real-time by engaging these prosumers directly. It supports renewable energy integration into the grid in a cost-effective fashion.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: The role of Crypto in eliminating fossil fuels dependence on: September 02, 2018, 06:21:00 PM
There is Peak Oil theory (which can be rebranded also Peak Natural Gas, Peak Coal, Peak Freshwater etc.)
that states global oil production has already peaked years ago and now we are in decline, that threatens
civilization as we know it.
There are a lot of skeptics who don't believe and try to ridicule people speaking about alternative
sources of energy. I don't mean wind turbines, they are too costly to play a major factor.
I also don't mean chemical solar panels, for the same reason: amortization costs.
Growing crops while using a lot of petrol for their agriculture to turn them into fuel is also ridiculous.
But there are other sources, that physicists speak of now and then and usually establishment reacts
with ridiculing them and silencing them in a lot of ways that are at establishment's disposal.

It seems that today's Central Banking is pinned on the idea of centralized control of resources.
Once there is decentralized energy source anywhere, this place can begin to print it's own money backed
by this additional energy, unaccounted so far.
And the only way to finance such developments seems to me is through altcoins.
Please share your thoughts.

We need financial innovation and creativity to unlock Energy Efficiency investments, and to grasp these employment and growth opportunities, blockchain could be the answer. Moving beyond bitcoin, the cryptocurrency most people associate with blockchain, the technology serves as a smart transaction platform at a systematic level that gives rise to true 'prosumers', as well as consumers, households also become producers and sellers of energy with a high degree of autonomy
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: September 02, 2018, 06:00:25 PM
if i build a bank of bitcoin that operating like a traditional fiat money bank when people can save the money and get interest for their saving and also people can get a loan from my bank but the fiat money is change for bitcoin, the question is would you guys trust me to save your bitcoin on my bitcoin bank that i want to build ?

Why build a bank again when every Bitcoin holder is a bank manager of his/her own crypto bank?. You talking about security, when Bitcoin wallets like blockchain and Coinbase are already giving us that. Building a strucutre for a crypto bank is as irrelevant as developing a control social media for Facebook users. It is of no use really.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralized or Decentralized for cryptocurrencies? on: September 02, 2018, 05:40:48 PM
The good sides of Government having control over Bitcoin is that; it will bring a lot of people into dealing with Bitcoin. The demand for Bitcoin will increase as the awareness grows over the reputation and influence of the government. In result, Bitcoin's price will be affected positively. People Holding Bitcoin now will be proud of their patience afterwards.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralized or Decentralized for cryptocurrencies? on: September 02, 2018, 05:22:05 PM
Some Governments are biased, and if they get hold of the control of Bitcoin, no one could predict what could happen. Moreover, the essence of Crypto-currency is not to place the control in the hands of some people. Crypto-currency is a default trust system, and when people gets to control it. Biasness could crept in, not to talk of when Government gets in charge.
Although, there are good sides to it.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: September 01, 2018, 09:37:43 PM
The study of economics can also provide valuable knowledge for making decisions in everyday life. It offers a tool with which to approach questions about; the desirability of a particular financial investment opportunity, whether or not to attend college or graduate school, the benefits and costs of alternative careers, and the likely impacts of public policies including universal health care and a higher minimum wage.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: September 01, 2018, 09:26:33 PM
Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?

Individuals who wants to make a relevant ground financially, must have some inclination with Economics. It could be formal or informal. Either ways economics needs to be understood and practiced. Economics is just human science. We humans strive to make ends meet and the understanding of the basics of economics would help in knowing how to set financial balances fo comfortability. There are laws and theories in economics that one needs to be more familiar with. They speak a lot about how to plan daily human finances.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: September 01, 2018, 09:16:40 PM
One risk I've fallen for is the risk of Price Volatility. The value of cryptocurrencies may change significantly even in a single day, which would mean a capital loss of your investment.
Cryptocurrencies lack the historical track record of other currencies or commodities, such as gold, that could guide whether current levels of volatility are typical or atypical.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: September 01, 2018, 09:08:37 PM
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?

Even life is a risk, so what is Bitcoin? Of course, dealing with Bitcoin is enough risk, but it's worth the risk. The risk of loosing part or all, the risk of putting up all pyschological system of the body to ensure each step is right, even without clear certainties. The good side is just the intrisic values. There are prospective possibilities of recording excellent profit moves, but it comes with the risks stated above.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: How the Bank works to make money? on: August 31, 2018, 08:29:01 PM
Banks have drafted a system for themselves, that people just need to have a bank account to keep their funds/valuable properties safe. Banks do businesses with people's money, and they make enough. This makes them pay their staffs well. Some banks are also into real estate and some industalized business. These are few of the ways of  which banks make their money.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: How the Bank works to make money? on: August 31, 2018, 08:22:28 PM
How do you think banks make money, how does a bank make money to pay its employees and business operational?
Does the bank rely solely on interest on loans from banks?

Banks are businesses. I consider  banks as the most extorting business ever. They have diverse means of making profits, some of which you mentioned above. One of their diberce tricks is to charge bank fees. They charge customers fees for services to do with managing their accounts, and earn money from bank charges levied on overdrafts which exceed agreed limits.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: What should we focus on more? Demand or Supply? on: August 31, 2018, 08:15:23 PM
Very important to drop this too. We need to understnad  that the value of something is not the same as its price; value is what people perceive a product is worth, while price is what they pay for it. Even so, value and price go hand in hand: the price of something is directly related to its value and vice versa.

The market value of Bitcoin; that is, the money that people are willing to pay for it, follows the same old basic demand and supply rule: a high demand increases its price and a low demand decreases it.

According to an article in the Economist, the increasing trend in the price of Bitcoin is what drives people to invest in it.
People are investing because they believe that, following the trend so far, they would be able to sell their Bitcoins for a much higher price in the future, which the article argues is a perfect example of the greater-fool theory.

You can read more in the  Economist article.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: What should we focus on more? Demand or Supply? on: August 31, 2018, 07:55:26 PM
Unfortunately, people ignorantly push the supply of Bitcoin into the market by selling and dumping. Unknowing to them this won't help the price of Bitcoin. These coins needs to be valued. They need to be wanted. It's good Cryptocurrency has handed onto us Bitcoin and other Crypto-coins to manage by ourselves, that doesn't mean we should abuse these coins by transacting anyhow with them. Probably, there should be some formal education or seminar on how to handle Bitcoin. Also, if there could be some regulations guiding selling and buying, maybe this will further help BITCOIN's price.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: What should we focus on more? Demand or Supply? on: August 31, 2018, 07:46:27 PM
I see a lot of people that are hoarding 100% of their bitcoins, because they believe cutting off the supply, would be enough to increase the price. <mostly speculators>

Would it not be better, if we increased the demand by increasing Bitcoin awareness and convincing more merchants to offer Bitcoin payments?

A 100% hoarding strategy is more harmful, because it cancels all the good work that was done to get merchants to accept Bitcoin as a payment option. A merchant will stop accepting Bitcoin, if their is no demand or transactions being generated for their business from the Bitcoin payment side.

We should actively encourage local merchants to start accepting bitcoins and then we should start supporting them. <No matter how low the price is>

Just buy back the bitcoins that you spend and you will be fine or use money that you would not have hoarded and buy the goods or service with bitcoins. <So when the price increase, you will not have regrets that you spend those coins>

Adopt a 80% hoarding and 20% spending strategy and we will see a massive increase in Bitcoin adoption <Merchants & Bitcoin users >  Cool

The game has to be played wisely. Economics has to be applied at full potential. Bitcoin is at the fore front of the new generational currencies know as cryptocurrency, not yet fully accepted generally, but the acceptance rate is still massively encouraging. Demand and Supply, as it applies to Fiat currencies like Dollars and Pounds, so also is it with Crypto - Currencies. Just that the whole world is already used to the FIAT currencies and they are generally accepted.

Bitcoin now has to be handled with all principles of economics backing Demand and Supply so as to control its market volume and price. This should be so,  so that the coin will be acceptable to all like Fiat Currencies and at the same time, the value of the coin will be retained.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: August 30, 2018, 09:06:51 PM
The forum is full of topics - “When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $...”, “Why BTC is under $...?”, “Final bottom at $...”, “Why BTC is down again?”, “Bitcoin will rise again ?” etc. The last two topics may appear in various forms  a dozen times a day.
I looked at graph price of BTC out of curiosity. I have noted to the price floor:

2015 - $200+
2016 - $300+
2017 - $700+
2018 - $5000+

Do you see something frightening in it?

We all can see that price drops because of actions by a Governments and big whales. Because they have the means and opportunities. They want to break into the our market on advantageous terms for them. Okay, well, I mean, that makes sense. We knew it would happen. But why that have to affect us?

In December 2017, the most people said - "Why I didn't buy BTC for $500… for $1000… f#ck it!.. for $2000...", "I will definitely buy BTC if it costs $7k-6k!..". But now when the price drops so well for us, we see "The demand for BTC is dropping". Seriously?!

So, instead to take advantage of the situation, buy up coins and altcoins, attract new people in crypto world more active than before, a lot of people stuck in indecision and think whether crypto market falls to the bottom and stays there.

Guys, are you serious? Crypto world is made by us. Governments and big whales haven’t any tricks to rule our world. It will happen only if we do nothing.

What do you think about it?

You just hit the nail on the head. Exactly my thoughts. Governments are only trying to scare people away. It is in our hands to be subjected to the fear or not. I feel Government fear that Cryptocurrency  or Bitcoin could raise a lot of milloniares and billionaires, hence they are trying to instill fear in the minds of crypto-developers by bringing up some regulations and media rants. These are periods to capitalize on the downtrend which comes as a  result of bad mouthing by the Government.
18  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptocurrency is Great, But How Many Persons Know That? on: August 30, 2018, 07:29:36 PM
Quite a good number of technologically inclined individuals are brave enough to spot the greatness in cryptocurrency. Moreover, the people who can testify to the greatness, have made some gains off crypto for themselves. The earlier the better.  The actual greatness is yet to be unravelled, as this phase is just like a prelude to what lies ahead.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: August 30, 2018, 07:14:41 PM
Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt
As I said in this year's new futures market
Such speculation has already allowed many former winners to Departure .

What are your facts?, Bring them on, includng your data sources and let s vet them properly. You cannot just use the word "Many" to generalize an issue in a negative statement hoping crypto players on her will accept dogmatically.

People tend to judge general happenings with what happens in their immediate environment. I think this is one of such case.
20  Economy / Marketplace / Re: issues on the internet on: August 30, 2018, 07:10:54 PM
The cryptocurrency market is too big and you can't affect it by spreading some news in this forum especially if you are not a know member.
To affect the market you have to be a well known person and have millions of followers.
Besides, there are many experts who are able to tell whether the news are true or false and certainly people will believe them.

Don't think so, of the negativity is too dominant and powerful in the news it can drag the market down like, irrespective of how big the market is, or how genuine this platform is.

NOTE: I said drag down not crush or cause to fold up.

The best we can just do is to stay positive and keep hoping for all negativities to be false.
