1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DBL] Doubloons: Pirate Currency on: June 30, 2014, 07:47:47 AM
...

Once transactions are flowing and blocks are happy again, we'll proceed to the next step of bringing the code up to more recent levels and possibly hard-forking for diff or coin-swapping to a new algo, but again, this a step in the right direction. We'll get DBL riding the high seas again!

Thanks a lot for your work. Now synching and hoping not all of my coins got lost.

Just in case the new algo question is open to debate, I'll propose to change to a less power demanding algorithm, such as Gröstl.

WHERE IS THE NEW WALLET

+1

Is there a way to know if I'm in the good fork or not?

Yesterday I was unable to sync. Restarted doubloon-Qt and synced, but my doubloons where missed. Restarted again after erasing blockchain in my drive and now it is synced with my coins back on it.

This block crawler (http://altexplorer.info/chains/DBL/block_crawler.php) contains my transactions, but block explorer (http://explorer.doubloons.net/) does not.

Really annoying.

Thanks, those worked... for a while. Last 9 hours the wallet remains unable to synch.

The network seems stopped since yesterday. At least my client is unable to synchronize since that time.

A pity, as this was the very first currency I wanted to solo-mine.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: February 16, 2014, 10:11:02 AM
+1. Dogecoin reward halved two days ago, but coinChoose still reports it at 500000.

Balances are frozen for me and the pool says (for DOGE):

Time Since Last Block: 22 Hours 50 Minutes (it's supposed to be around 1 min).

Something is still wrong!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.4 Released MANDATORY UPDATE on: January 19, 2014, 01:24:45 PM
Still surprised on this coin being so successful knowing that:
  • Its block chain explorer does not work
  • Its wallet cannot be encrypted in windows 7

Unsafest cryptocoin ever.

Ok. Tried a lot this night. The Problem are the EU server. With EU server 10 - 15% and up to 70%(!!!) invalid shares. Same settings now with the US server (and I´m from Germany) only 1-2% invalid shares. Thats fine for me.

Admin, you should take a look at the EU server!!!

Thanks to all, who tried to help me. Wish I had tried US server first and not after hours of tuning my settings and system - what´s no fun with 4 rigs and 11 GPUs Wink

Thanks!! I've also noted an abnormally high % of invalid shares when mining DOGE in the EU pool. CUDAminer reports 8 % invalid (which is high for me, usually it is below 3 %) and the server reports 33 % invalid. Just changed to us server, up to now 100% valid.

Sorry if it has been asked previously (searching in 250+ thread pages is not a joke!) but, will multipool.us support Fastcoin (FST)?

Thanks & regards.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / multipool withdrawal fees on: December 15, 2013, 12:57:54 PM
Hi all,

I see in multipool.us FAQ:

  • Q: What fees does this site charge?
A: Effective September 1, 2013, this site charges a 1.5% fee on all mined blocks. User pays the mandatory network fee for NVC, CGB, and CAP withdrawals, 0.001 BTC for BTC withdrawals less than 0.01, and the fees for withdrawals of less than 1 coin of other currencies.

Sure it's my problem for not being English my mother tongue, but I cannot understand the last (red) sentence. So, what's the withdrawal fee for, say, a withdrawal of 0.5 LTC?. And for 100 LTC?

Thanks & regards.
