At this time, we have no reason to believe that staking is broken, as several reports and tests have shown it to be working properly. The estimated stake time shown in the wallet is, like most other PoS coins, an estimate and maybe you have had a bad string of luck. Happens to the best of us. Please keep us informed after another day or so to see if it has worked itself out. Thanks.

Thank you for the answer!
When nothing happened 15 hours later I've started digging deeper and found the source of the problem.

My wallet wasn't enciphered [Settings-Encipher Wallet].
Unfortunately everything seemed ok, with no error or infomessage.

Yes, silly mistake. On the previous screenshot there was yellow lock symbol missing:

So I can confirm, staking works.
I've already received tiny ammount of APEX from staking.

It would be great if the wallet reported wallet encryption missing. Because it untruly writes: staking, as seen on previous screenshot.
Or better to have some staking guide as SilkCoin wallet does [with more comprehensible text step-by-step staking guide than SC has].

Do I understand correctly that after successfully receiving staking money the staked ammount has to "wait" 24hours?
Must be computer running during all that time?

Thanks!

Mine have matured after 24h as it is written in the ANN post.

Guys, what am I doing wrong??

Yesterday at 5pm deposited 10k APEX to my wallet.
PC running all the time.
24hours later, it started Staking.

From the very first moments Staking promised ~20minutes [and the number was slowly falling down] expected time to earn the reward.
But 7 hours have passed from that moment and no profit from stake was credited. Still staking.

Wallet writes now the expected time is 3minutes...

Image to show the situation.

Thanks for your replies!

omg no need to show you proof arcoin, just watch disaster on bittrex...

Ok Leduc, so you are literally telling us: "I do not have ANY proof, blockchain info is ok and my intention was to spread the lies in the effort to damage ARCoin?"

Thanks for confirmation.

Guys, guys guys!!
I've just heard that it would be possible to mine FUDcoin on our Playstations portables! Isn't that great!
Just imagine, getting rich even when mummy sends you to sleep!

Maybe they will even make a miner for the Gameboy Color!

FUD to the moon and far away!!

It would be nice if the VOOT landing page's links:

  Community
  RoadMap
  Press

did NOT all led to the same BCT page...

No new FUD, no new features, devs gone... that a horrible world we live in.
Before there were two certainities: BTC and FUD...

Don't tell me we can't even trust FUD, nowadays...

To Crypt0Keeper,

please post here simple guide, what we can do to help the case with reddit.

I'm not sure whether by "vote" you mean upvote some of your threads [if, yes tell us where].
Or whether there is some poll we can regularly click.

We'll gladly help you, just be more specific please.

OK, FUDcoin  has finally been listed on FUDryptsy but whenever I send coins they don't show up for almost 3 days.

If you read the rules carefully you would have known that for a first deposit they charge a flat 100% deposit fee.

We call it 100% Anonymous transaction... they simply disappear - and nobody can find them... ever!

FUDcoin knocked my girlfriend up!! WTF

WTF here probably does not stand for: What To Fuck... right?

I promise a bounty of 14 FUDcoin to first one, who'll assemble a code for FUD-Multipool.

The algorithm would be quite simple, yet very powerful:
- create a list of the most FUD-weighted altcoins at the moment
- choose the best one [let's call it  "xxx"-coin]
- choose best FUD source [twitter, FB, BitcoinTalk, ...]
- mine at least 3 blocks [we can say paragraphs?] of most promising FUD
- exchange the "xxx"-coin's name in the mined FUD for FUDcoin
- spread the FUD evenly among active pool participants

[of course, it can secretly store some fresh FUD for the pool operators and their family...]

And no block halving for FUD-coin!
Full text blocks of FUD all the time!!

Mottos:  FUD always wins!!
FUD to the Moon! [and never a meter back...]
FUD your reliable long term profit source in turbulent world of Crypto.

In the history section at the top, I think your second sentence should immediately address the community take over.  It kinda sounds like SILK is still in limbo.  Something along the lines of...

"On June 24, 2014, after seeing a rise to the top of every exchange in which it was involved,
the original Silkcoin developers decided to abandon the community and its investors in a shameless display of confusion and greed. On June xx, 2014, the Silkcoin community united and confidently took the reins to commit their highly competent skills and resouces to ensure Silkcoin reaches its revolutionary destination.  Weaving together its innovative and visionary concepts of unifying staking, social media, payment processing, currency exchange, [insert agenda] into one strong, yet pliable, fabric, Silkcoin will open a new pathway by bringing its unique crypto payment structure to the forefront as the most  convenient and efficient medium for everday transactions to meet all business and consumer needs."

Got carried away on the rest, but we do need that second sentece idea addresses right after saying the orig devs fell off the camel.

This is great point!
Please anyone, who has the adequate permission/s please do it asap.

Would it be possible to lock both other Silkcoin threads here at BitcoinTalk?  (I still can add replies to both)
If it is not possible, can you at least rewrite their first post on the first page - in such a way it lets the reader that only this thread is official and updated.

  Thanks!

Guys guys guys!!
It is a scaaaamm!!

NO,no no! Don't invest! They've promised regular whole fat FUD every Monday. Monday is here and no FUD yet!
No reasonable dev promises something and doesnt deliver.

So I've investigated more - and guess what!
I've traced down all  four five FUD founders - and according to the IP address, all five of them are IconicExpert and moreover the second one is also Mark Karpeles!!
YES!  I've talked to mod of this forum (I have him in the Live chat of My Little Pony game) and he confirmed!

More info coming soon - just after I'll clean my room, so mummy won't be angry!

Guys 15 BTC/each when there is only 1,000,000 coins is a BAAAAAAAARGAAAAAAAAAAINNNN!!!
A lifetime opportunity!!

Those who don't buy today should better reserve a seat at skilled anti-suicide psychoanalyst, when it hits 614 BTC next week!
I have to set my telescope right - so I can wave it when it reaches the borders of Solar system rising !!

PS: Just in case I've set the buy orders from 15 up do 234 BTC/each!

Hey guys!

Please vote for burnercoin to get to Poloniex.  https://www.poloniex.com/voting

And if you don't have an account here, yet - this is a great opportunity to make one and be among the first, who'll get great prices when BurnerCoin gets there.
Making and account and requested ammount of trades took me ~6minutes there.

Which is nothing in comparison how Burnercoin will be generous after it gets there.

Do something for community!

   Thanks!!
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ◢◣ BurnerCoin x13 PoW+PoS ◢◣ Mandatory Wallet update now! on: June 25, 2014, 12:30:54 AM
I will add .1 BTC or the equivalent in Burner (currently 500 Burner).

-dev bounty      0.34
-mrbenjie          0.06
-sl1m               0.1
-slingmoonshot  0.1

So we are .6 BTC as of now

I'd like to add 0.066 BTC more to "first-multipool" prize.
Just to make the reward a little more devilish 0.666 BTC - as it suits for the hell flames inspired coin.

Already sent PM to BurnerCoin user (probably has night at this moment).
I'm going to sleep now (timezone GMT+2).

Great!
Just a little clarification needed.
Will the CloakSend prototype be ready on Thursday [12th] or 11th [today].

Thanks!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIBERTYCOIN][XLB] May 27th Dump Discussed on: May 29, 2014, 11:09:03 PM
and i haven't done that? i asked if they could show us their wallets. i too lost a lot of BTC on XLB!
if they say they are not scammers. SHOW US

+1

Yes, dear devs - I suppose this is a great opportunity to show us you are clean.
Show us strong proof - ideally one utilizing signed message for the wallet by which anyone can assure self you are real owner/s of the wallets.

It can shed necessary light now - in darkest hour of Libertycoin...
...or Libertycon?

Libertycoin was not premined. I (Templar77) own 312,000 coins which I bought in many moments investing 5 BTC. My address has been in the main thread for days. What I do with those coin is for me to decide since is my own money and not part of a premine.

Thank you Templar77!!
I really appreciate your fast response.

Message is verified - you are real owner of the keys. Great!

Can we (as a community) come with some proof (or protocol or process) - that everyone would agree sufficiently proves all the following:
- dev X owns wallets nr.: Y, Z, ...
- the wallets are reasonably old and have adequate history
- these are "his/hers" only wallets
- they were not used for mass dumping [26th and 27th of May ]

Yes it is an open problem - but if we'd have it, we can bring more peace and good news to actual situation.
