1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Doge] Back from hell - doge.poolerino.com, PROP, 0% Fee on: December 21, 2013, 01:41:58 AM
Im mining with poolerino.com!
User ID:218

I've been using the pool since it was launched with invite only registrations. It is nice to have the pool back with improvements. Out of all the others I've used, this one far surpasses them all. Also love the chat box on the dashboard, it adds a great touch to the site rather than watching numbers change all the time.

For me, I used to mine LTC but the profit per day was around $1 ish at 400KHash/s with the old version of cudaminer. Recently I switched to DOGE since the difficulty was way lower and had some good potential given it's popularity. At this time, I calculated around $13-20 profit a day at 770 KHash/s with my two 670s and a 6850.

For a 7870 I know that the thread conurrency should be twice as that e.g. 8192, with an intensity at small as 10 there shouldn't have been any problems. A lot of the times, leaving the computer off completely for a while then re building it can help. That's usually a last resort if most conventional methods fail. Then if that fails, then I try and replace the faulty part if I find one. If you have any other problems just RMA the card.

Apart from taking the sides of the case out to leave the system exposed, you can try putting ice in a well sealed bag and leave it on top of the cards, granted unsafe but if you cover the plastic bag over cloth then it could work out. But I'd only do this if the temps are getting way too high, for normal use just buy a small desk fan and put it so that it blows on the system. It worked for me when my old ati 2600xt fan stopped working. Investing in watercooling isn't a bad idea either.

This is some good info. I've been lurking these forums for a while and I'm not much of a poster unless I have a problem that I can't normally solve with a simple search. Well at least I'll be able to post normally soon.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Cudaminer Hashrate on: December 20, 2013, 07:56:15 PM
I've been using the latest Cudaminer 18/12/2013 and with my two GTX 670s I'm getting over 300 KHash/s for GPU 1 and 260 for GPU 0. Is there any reason why GPU 0 has a lower hashrate than GPU 1? On previous versions I got near identical speeds at 205 KHash/s on both. No matter what setting or parameter I adjust there is very little difference in hash rates. Overclocking also makes little difference and just makes the temps go higher than with little increase in rate.

And to add to that, what kind of hash rates are you getting for cudaminer?
