I got an error message that popped up?  Huh
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What Currency Exchange... on: January 15, 2014, 06:59:30 PM
I use coinmkt aggressively. To date I've transacted just over $20K USD on the site.

Also, I found out just moments ago they've added new cryptocurrencies; http://blog.coinmkt.com/new-additions/

Quark, worldcoin, and one other one. (dogecoin I think)

CoinMKT has all the red tape locked up.

They have several layers of verification.

Email verify
SS# verify
Picture ID Verify
Address Verify

Are there any other exchanges with the same that also have the AML cert?

They also respond faster when you mention you're popular on the bitcoin forums. Smiley
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Will the visibility of a blockchain render accountants useless? on: January 14, 2014, 10:50:11 PM
Accountants exist because money queues up and we have to know how money moves from point A to point B and tax appropriately based on an arbitrary set of If-then statements. A

With the existence of the blockchain, will accountants be useless, because then we can codify taxes and transactions?

I'm a newb. Thanks for taking a look.

Withdrawals have been re-instated for everyone, and we've implemented some enhanced security features as well, we're making sure that we protect user deposits first and foremost.

Happy trading!

I think this is the perfect response to this issue.

I've looked at a few of the platforms out there. Money and BTC disappears. CoinMKT while slow at the moment, seems to be the only one that has taken a pre-emptive strike against hacking.

They put a blog post up just now as well on how important security is to their bottom line: http://blog.coinmkt.com/coinmkt-safe-withdrawals/

Additionally, I can find the CEO's twitter, facebook, and linkedin account without too many issues. / It will be very hard for them to run from any enforcers in comparison to the $100M bitcoin heist.
