2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about PlexCoin? on: March 15, 2018, 03:28:39 PM
what i wonder to most is why the SEC suddenly give matter to the case AFTER the end of the ICO...

everything stop at October 13th if I recall well, then SEC filled it suit in december... if they really wanted to protect from a possible fraud, they should have done something before right? but it seem as they didn't find it was dangerous while it was selling but when it started to gain value that was a different story!

almost 2 month after is really strange for an "emergency" action

don't sell in highly regulated countries, and of course, don't guarantee profits to investors

well, they never guaranteed it and there was a condition to not live in USA...

though, I agree that there was ambiguous things and one can learn from plexcoin's errors

I wonder how it will end, but regulators have a hard time with the case.  SEC with personal jurisdiction and QAMF keep delaying ....

I still hope for a happy ending, ahah

Notice

Before reading, please take note that any "instantaneous" action refer to the Ethereum blockchain transaction speed. That speed can vary a lot, mostly because of the gas price and the gas limit you choose while sending a transaction.

Also, any price and value discussed below should be considered from an Ether point of views, not fiat currencies neither other cryptocurrencies.

As english is not my primary language, I may have use some wrong words or got some spelling mistake. Sorry for that and I'll try to correct everything that I find.

Quick description

The PirateNinjaCoin is a token that can be buy and sell in an instant without having to use an exchange platform or any other way. On the other hand, it only accept Ether to go that way. Third-party can take care of exchange for any other cryptocurrencies, but we suggest to obtain and use Ether instead. The token is not designed for the trading market, but to be use with any future applications/services the PirateNinjaCompany will create. There weren't and will not have an ICO for the token.

Key features

-Instant buy or sell at any time.
-Market manipulation resistant.
-Sell price should never drop.
-Everything is done by the blockchain, so no cake... I mean no lie about transactions and sell price
-100% uptime (running on the blockchain)
-To be use with PirateNinjaCompany's products.

Token specs

It is a modified ERC20-token smart-contract with added functions. The source code will be available upon deploy.

TokenName : PirateNinjaCoin
4 letter Symbol : PIRN
Decimals : 8
Contract Address : 0x8AC4B79f0a29624fcB1720EE131068f1cE23AcD3

How to buy

First, this is NOT an ICO. There is no date limit to buy so you can't miss this one. No FOMO, folks!

You will be able to buy the token directly with Ether. It will increase the total supply until the maximum allowed by a uint256 type, which is pretty high.
Each transactions will rise the price by 0.015% until a maximum of 4815.162342ETH for 1PIRN. Maximum price should take a really long time to reach.
Minimal buy is 0.00000001PIRN. If you send not enough Ether to cover the minimal buy and fee, the transaction will fail. Any Ether left after conversion will be send back to you. The fee are taken before converting ETH to PIRN.

On a geth instance, issue a transaction with the buy call in the data. Here is an exemple :
eth.sendTransaction({
from:YourETHAddress,
to:PirateNinjaCoinAddress,
value: web3.toWei(1, 'ether'),
gas:300000,
data:"0xa6f2ae3a"
})

Data 0xa6f2ae3a is the actual buy call. It's this part that identify that you want to buy.

How to sell

You will be able to sell any amount or PIRN instantly for it's Ether sell price, which will go up with each buy and burn. Each sell transaction will also decrease the total supply.
Their will be a minimal spread of 0.016% to ensure sell price never exceed buy price. That minimal spread will be automatically set to 0% when maximum Buy price will be reach. The fee are taken after converting PIRN to ETH.

Sell price is simply calculated this way : Available Ether / total Supply
If the sell price is over the buy price, the minimal spread is applied.

On a geth instance, issue a transaction with the sell call and the token amount in the data. Here is an exemple :
eth.sendTransaction({
from:YourETHAddress,
to:PirateNinjaCoinAddress,
gas:300000,
data:"0xe4849b32000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000011F018BE6"
})

Data 0xe4849b32 is the actual sell call. It's this part that identify that you want to sell.
The next 64 character is the amount of PIRN you want to sell without decimal and in hexadecimal. In our exemple, 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000011F018BE6 is 48,15162342PIRN

Burning process

Products created by the PirateNinjaCompany will be able to burn the token. That process will decrease the token total supply. While burning, PirateNinjaCompany will take some % of it's value and let the other part back in the ether supply. Doing things that way will contribute to make the sell price closer to the buy price. The % taken will be adjustable as needed to a maximum of 110%. That maximum will only serve to retrieve any ether left over the maximum buy price when it will be reach.

Actual flame : 50%

Initial Price

The initial price will be 0.000023ETH ( or 23000 GWEI ) for 1PIRN. Price will then rise by 0.015% each time there will be a buy transaction until the maximum is reach.

Fees

Beside the blockchain transaction fees, each buy/sell transaction will have a fee of 0.042%.

I think that it's far less then many exchange platform, like Bittrex who take 0.25%

Launch date

We will launch at 2018 Saint Patrick's Day (March 17th, 2018).

The goal
The ultimate goal is to finance the PirateNinjaCompany. It will develop games and apps that will be able to use the token.

You can expect the following projects :
-An actual website!
-Blockchain Blackjack.
-An easy to use simple UI web-based multi-currencies wallet with an available API.
-Maybe an exchange platform (depending mostly on what law become about cryptoexchange platform)
-Games
-You can suggests your ideas Wink

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Plexcoin, what happened to it? Will it resurrects? on: March 08, 2018, 06:58:45 PM
I believe it will ressurect, but that's only my opinion.  We have to wait to see what happen with QAMF and SEC...

this is the most accurate information that i can get about the project
