Hi, I saw some posts about problems with PODC and I'm having the same problem.

{
  "Command": "totalrac",
  "Total RAC": 0,
  "UTXO Target": 10,
  "StakeBalance": 2910832,
"Threshhold to receive 10% rewards (below this UTXO Amount rewards are lost)": 10,
"Stake Level Required For 10% Level": 10,
"Stake Level Required For 20% Level": 10,
"Stake Level Required For 30% Level": 10,
"Stake Level Required For 40% Level": 10,
"Stake Level Required For 50% Level": 10,
"Stake Level Required For 60% Level": 10,
"Stake Level Required For 70% Level": 10,
"Stake Level Required For 80% Level": 10,
"Stake Level Required For 90% Level": 10,
"Stake Level Required For 100% Level": 10,
  "Total Team RAC": 5441482
}

I tried forcing a UTXOOVERRIDE amount which didn't work. I tried to reassociate my CPID but it reads that it's already in the chain. Did anyone find a solution to this?
I was originally on 1.1.8.9 when it happened and then upgraded to 1.1.9.8 to try and fix it. didn't work...

Thanks!

No, what was happening, was that I had bankrolled a whole bunch of coins but left just enough for PODC. However, PODC kept saying insufficient balance. I looked at the Coin Input and saw that my bankrolled coins were nicely separated from the amount I wanted to save for PODC, so I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I ended up selecting all the coins in my NON-Tithe addresses and sending them to a single address, then I noticed that shortly after, a single automatic PODC update would go out. But after that, it would stop completely. Each day, I would have to manually consolidate all my NON-TITHE addresses into one wallet for PODC to update. Eventually, I thought there might be a problem with the bankrolled coins, so I selected those as well and consolidated everything into one single wallet address. PODC automatic updates now work fine, however, now it always takes the whole balance regardless of what I specify in UTXOOverride. POG no longer works because my entire coin age is always reset.

Perhaps why my PODC updates were failing is because somehow my wallet was not reading the utxooverride value correctly in some cases and was trying to send out a larger amount than what I had specified.

I just tried bankrolling a bunch of coins again and will see in a little while if I continue to have problems.

Been having trouble with the utxooverride command now in 1.1.8.7. Always seems to spend my full wallet balance despite what I put in. Any one else have this problem?

Strange behaviour on the pool Superblock view. Onii-chan, talisman, Sakic and other miners including mine suddenly read 0 for WCGRAC. Checked my exec getboincinfo and it shows that WCGRAC reads 0. I suspect that it's the same for the others. Any idea what happened?

C-CEX just posted that their DOGE and LTC accounts got hacked and all the balances are gone. I think the exchange is in semi-maintenance mode. Tried to withdraw BBP to different wallet addresses, but error keeps saying invalid addresses. Anyone else have trouble doing withdrawals of BTC and other coins?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay | Masternodes | Sanctuaries | POBH - ASIC Resistant | 10% ORPHANS on: August 25, 2018, 07:56:04 PM
I think one thing that would helps us secure widespread adoption is an easy way for the public to purchase coins from our orphan fund. Crypto is still difficult for the masses and learning how to mine BBP is a more involved process. But, people are often willing to support a good cause, especially if there's a possibility that whatever they contribute might have a greater yield in the future.

Is there any way for us on our website to set up a way to purchase BBP directly with fiat currency? I understand that this could be complicated... but I think it has enormous potential to catapult us to viral status. We'd have to make it very, very, very simple.

1. Go to BBP Website and click "Support orphan fund."
2. Input credit card information.
3. Install Mobile Wallet and punch in receiving address for your BBP or better yet, use a scanner to link the BBP address to your purchase.
4. Receive "Thank You for your support. $1,000 has been donated to the orphan fund and 1,000,000 BBP has been credited to your address. Your support makes a difference in the life of a child, NOW."
5. A meter on the website increases 50%, 70%, until 100% of the coins in the charity wallet are distributed.
6. Every week, the website features stories of how BBP is growing and made a direct impact in the lives of children featuring amazing stories, pictures with kids holding up BBP signs, and testimonies of field directors and others who are grateful. This could easily garner headlines from news sources, Reddit, "A crypto with a conscience, BBP" or the "BBP, first crypto to break into the masses with easy-to-purchase system and direct impact on orphans."
7. A top 10 list of biggest donators this week can appear on the website as well. Perhaps in the future, this would given incentive for companies and other organizations to donate so that their names would be shown to be contributing to an important cause. Maybe even a 140 word re-tweetable line they're allowed to write. e.g. "BBP aligns with our organizations values of supporting and giving back to the community."

I know this wouldn't be classified as a true donation since they're actually making a purchase, but everyone will understand that primarily, it's about getting $$$ to a good cause.

The effect of this would be:

1. Removing the monthly coin dump on the exchange – Right now, the dump of coins causes a major fluctuation in the price. I also notice, that some people upon reading Rob's announcements, have been dumping their coins on the exchange to drive the market low, so that they can buy back the orphan wallet coins cheap. I've been monitoring the market, and this happened in June when someone put up a huge sell wall on South, then again at the end of July as prices depressed close to the superblock. Removing the monthly coin dump would help stabilize the price.

2. Attracting new investors – Investors are what we need to increase the price of the coin. BBP has very strong fundamentals (direct impact on children, curing cancer and diseases) that give this coin an edge over all the other worthless coins in cyberspace. Currently, initiatives like Dash Evolution are trying to tap the unreached masses. If we could find a way for people to easily purchase BBP with fiat, we could actually be one of the first to get into the untapped masses. BBP has a huge advantage over other coins in that, people are scared to put money into something they don't understand and could be valueless in the future. However, if they understand their "donation" goes DIRECTLY to changing lives now, and as a bonus they get some coins, many people would just treat it as that, "a donation." If the project tanked, they wouldn't think their money was wasted at all. I think you could get tons of people who know nothing about crypto, but have heard of bitcoin, saying "Hey, that's a great idea, I'm not into crypto, but I'd be happy to donate, and if I get a token in return, sweet." So, they'd simply want to "donate" and support a good cause and have the fun of saying that they now own some crypto. I figure there a number of regular folk who would happily donate as long as they could SEE that their money actually went directly to a good cause, AND it was EASY to do.

In short, given that we have strong fundamentals, I think what we need now is just exposure and good marketing that capitalizes on these strengths.

Rob, I tried migrating completely to WCG to test this last week and noticed my wallet stopped sending PODC updates after a week. I read through my log and discovered that after suspending Rosetta on each machine, the first number in my PODC Updates steadily decreased. It went from "PODCUpdate Processed (7) over 1 CPID(s) successfully" down to "PODCUpdate Processed (1) over 1 CPID(s) successfully." and then finally PODCUpdate Processed 0 tasks for CPID. At this point, my wallet transaction list no longer showed PODC updates. I tried manually running "exec podcupdate true" but it would fail and say Processed (0). Only until I took one of my machines and started crunching Rosetta again, was I able to get it to run PODC updates once again automatically.

Do you think you could explain this? Thanks!

I'm experiencing the same issue right now. Few days after I solved my last Rosetta task, I stopped receiving rewards - the wallet is not sending PODC updates.
"exec podcupdate true" it would fail and say Processed (0) tasks.

I think you guys do have a point here.  The wallet does have a spork (a network config setting) that dictates if it should be counting task weight per project, but I dont believe its honoring that setting from the PODC Update perspective.  So for now you can get around this by typing:
exec podcupdate true (that means force=true) if you are wcg only, do this once per day, but yes, I need to take a look at this as this is exactly the kind of thing new users hate.

Hi Rob, I tried PODC update true, but it refuses to work when no Rosetta hosts are crunching.

I had a quick look at the rpcblockchain.cpp. I notice that PODCUpdate function will return false if iInserted == 0. iInserted seems to only be incremented in a loop that iterates through all the BOINC hosts that a user has extracted from GetBoincHostsByUser. Given that GetBoincHostsByUser is passed the argument "project1", does that mean only hosts crunching Rosetta are counted? Because if so, that would explain why an individual with WCG only hosts would be unable to send PODC updates.

Sorry my coding skills are a bit rusty, and I'm not very familiar with the BBP source. Please correct if I'm wrong.

I got my payments on PODC and I am happy Grin, now i have two questions:

1) Rosseta seems to take a lot of network traffic and space.
    Question:
Do I have to be "boinc"ing  at least one station on Rosseta, or can I move all my boinc stations to WCG ?

2) West said in the past that we could use WCG RAC to receive payment from GByte coin.
Today GByte coin asks to change WCG user name to be something else.
    Question:
If i would change WCG user name, will it be effecting Biblepay PODC payment ?

You can actually stop Rosetta and go 100% WCG.  The only side element to this is for brand new users who do not have a Rosetta account.  There is a small chance a person who started fresh on WCG with no Rosetta account will need to create a rosetta account to ensure the cpids match across projects, then stop boincing rosetta later.  But for you, you can just turn off rosetta.  The entire issue is for CPID synchronization.  WCG does honor boincs 'externalcpid' field (which is what we honor also).

On #2, I cant offer assistance here.

Does anyone experience this bug in which the wallet periodically becomes unlocked and has to be relocked manually?
Running on Windows 1.1.3.8c.

I've noticed it twice now in the last few weeks.

I have a tiny bit of info on this, so I lean towards this not being a bug.

We only unlock your wallet with the crypted passphrase if we receive a boolean "unlocked" state from the wallet on boot.

Then we re-lock it if it was "locked" to begin with.

So I believe what is happening is at one point you must have typed 'walletpassphrase phrase 99999' or something, and that left the wallet unlocked.
Then you restarted the wallet and entered the passphrase.  So we unlocked it, tested it, and left it unlocked.

To verify the code is working properly, lock the wallet, close the wallet, start the wallet, enter the passphrase and it should still be in the locked state.

It will only unlock during PODC updates.

I am unable to reproduce this as a bug.

Hi Rob, I've done as you've instructed and restarted my wallet. It reads locked. I will try to run it for a few weeks to see if I can reproduce the scenario. You might be right in that for some reason a prompt showed up asking me to unlock and I put in my password. I'll monitor and see how it goes. Thanks!

I know that it's coming close to the end of the month and was wondering what the limit is on the number of letters we can write?
Also, I looked over the letter in the pool and some of them seem to be copy/paste letters with a large number of approvals...

** Update on World Community Grid **

Summary:  A) We need users to enable export authorization from their respective web accounts, B) We need to test this to see if it works for Biblepay

I'll take a look at testing this today.

Please look for a checkbox in your WCG account to enable publically sharing your RAC data and please enable it.

All,

I found the setting :

Navigate to worldcommunitygrid.org | Log in

Click Settings | My Profile | Scroll down to the middle of the page | Look for Display My Data:

Choose to display or hide your data
You can control whether your data is displayed or hidden. If you choose to display your data, your username and contribution statistics will be shown on our leader boards, your badges and country (if specified) will be shown in our forums and your user and device information will be included in any data export files. See our Privacy Statement for more details.

           Display my data
           Hide my data

Select "Display My Data"

Save

- I will test with my CPID asap.

I had this on by default. I think it should not have been as I have reported european country.

Yes, I have a few WCG accounts from back in the day, and I see the default is set to Show the data.  So that's great from our perspective as our users wont have to change anything by default...

Checking into our Sanctuary Integration in detail, it looks like we are back in business with WCG.  Everything looks like its fine.

I've just re-enabled WCG as our 2nd project.  RAC should start being paid within 24 hours.  NOTE It might be too late for tomorrow morning's 8AM superblock, but by Sunday morning we should see WCG payments going out again.

The project factor is set back to 1.5 WCG points per 1 Rosetta point.

Rob, could you clarify the calculation?
I was looking at the superblockview and saw that the following formula seems to be at work to determine the RAC used to calculate one's share

ModifiedRAC = (AvgRAC + WCGRac) * UTXOWeight

2 questions.

#1: Does 1.5 WCG points per 1 Rosetta point mean that if one has 1500 WCG RAC, it's only worth 1000 Rosetta RAC? I seem to recall a debate about WCG being more difficult and perhaps its the other way around?

#2: Is the WCGRAC reported in the superblock view the already "adjusted" amount? In other words, if I see WCGRAC at 1000, does that mean it was adjusted downwards from 1500?

Thanks!

Does anyone have trouble using InstantSend on 1.1.3.8c? I tried to send different amounts of 100, 1000, and even 10,000, but it keeps throwing an error saying that Instantsend only supports up to 500,000 BBP. Just noticed it after I upgraded from 1.1.2.4.
I did have a problem with it, yes - but I didn't report it as I couldn't reproduce it.

I could InstantSend 50,000 and 100,000 BBP, but not 200,000 or 300,00.

However, I think (not sure, but think) that the message was just misleading, and it was probably because I didn't have all of the funds sitting in the same address first. I was able to do instantsend of 100,000 -> 100,000 -> 50,000 -> 50,000 but that was the only way I could get it to work. Every other attempt threw the error you described.

The message is a bit ambigious.

To solve it, please go into coin control and manually select coin inputs less than 500,000, then re-send Smiley.

Cool. I didn't know about the coin control feature. Just went in to try it and was able to select my wallet which has more than enough coins. However, it still throws the same error despite the coins also having over a dozen confirmations. Tried 123, 1230, 10,000 "InstantSend doesn't support sending values that high yet..." Not sure what's wrong.

Sorry, I might've missed this, but I notice that Qiex and South wallets are both offline and Qiex says they're upgrading.
Is this the mandatory upgrade? Just wondering how long they'll be down as I have coins that I'm trying to withdraw and I realize I'm a bit stuck now.

Hey guys, I just noticed something odd. In the last superblock, my ARM wallet for some reason didn't receive anything. It has been working fine for weeks, then at 45510, the UTXOWeight dropped to 0 in the pool superblock view. It is listed as unbanked, the task weight is 100%, it had 211 staked with 1101 RAC. I checked exec testvote and I see that the wallet is in the next superblock, but just curious if anyone has an idea how to diagnose what happened? Seems like a one-off behaviour. Here's a copy of the report from the pool superblock view. Thanks!

For those of you who reindexed your wallet, please note that you need to also restart the Biblepay QT. I noticed that my wallet was not execing podcupdates after the reindex and when i ran one manually it said that my CPID was not associated. I restarted the wallet and then i was able to send podcupdates.
Just a tip so you don't miss out on the next block reward.

One of my Windows wallets crashed and was stuck a dozen blocks behind so I rebuilt the index. Noticed the other Windows wallet was also stuck, so I also rebuilt that index as well. Works now.
