Well I can't mine and haven't been able too for several hours.

I tired using pa.mtred.com but it didn't connect for me.

Well their site and forums are back up. They claim they're under a DDOS and working on it.

Here is the thread on it.

http://bitclockers.com/forums/index.php?topic=1803.0

They dropped from over 210 G/Hash down to 54 G/Hash. If they start paying out properly again I might go back just to get a large piece of the pie.

BitClockers is still down with no word from anyone. It looks like their pool is also shut down now.

I think its safe to say they fled with the money.

And currently their website is down. I should have switched from them two days earlier. It's annoying but I only have 0.6x BTC in that tracker. As opposed to others that for whatever reason left large amounts of Bitcoins in their account.

They had dropped from around 215 G/Hash to around 175 G/Hash. I know I pulled my 2.5 G/Hash worth of workers and I know a few other people who pulled their systems as well. BitClockers lost around 9 G/Hash from us alone.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POOL] litecoin.miningpool.com,PPLNS now,0 % fee,% of donations to charity on: March 05, 2012, 09:29:40 AM
I'm trying to use the wallet program to mine, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I'm getting an error message.

Miner failed to start. Make sure you have the Minerd executables and Libraries in the same directory as Litecoin-QT
6  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: HD7770 & HD7750 mining thread on: February 22, 2012, 10:35:50 AM
Well AMD has shrunk the line up a bit so we'll have to wait and see how the HD 7800 cards do and their prices.

It's probably going to be four months before AMD is putting out steady driver updates for GCN.
7  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Problem with Guiminer on: February 09, 2012, 04:51:53 AM
Well I was able to update Phonex but it's not as good a poclbm. And I can't get Poclbm working properly.

You might have DNS poisoning happening on your system.

Do a scan with three specific programs, Malwarebytes Anti-malware, Super Antispyware, & Spybot SD.

Then I would suggest using 3rd party DNS from either OpenDNS or DynDNS.
9  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Here are some IN-STOCK 5830s for your viewing & buying pleasure. on: June 10, 2011, 03:48:50 AM
I'm really looking forward to AMD's numbers at the end of the year let alone this quarter.
10  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Transfer time MTGox -> Dwolla? on: June 10, 2011, 12:34:27 AM
Yeah I finally decided to sell a few coins when the price got up to around $30. I was expecting around 24 hours for the transfer but it's been almost two days. I was hoping to roll my cash into more hardware. Now I'm going to be hit with the weekend so even if I get them by tomorrow I'll still be delayed even further.

And I'm broke so I actually need the few hundred I've earned from coins. Had I known about the delay I would have just kept the cash at MTGox and just bought & sold coins for a little while.

+1, I've seen people use cases from rosewill they work great.
12  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: PSU for 4 videocards on: June 07, 2011, 05:57:39 AM
Damn so I could probably one two cards off it maybe 3 depending on the cards. With an AMD semperon I might have a chance with it. I'll have to do more looking around & research into Gold rated systems I guess.
13  Bitcoin / Mining / Which HD 6850 for mining? on: June 07, 2011, 05:43:19 AM
Ok I've never bought an after market cooled card like either of these before.

I was going to order today two HD 5830s today from Newegg. Imagine my surprise finding them sold out. And now Newegg, Tiger Direct, & Amazon are out of the properly priced cards. Also everyone else trying to price gouge on used cards can go to hell. AMD is going to have a great year.

So which of these cards would be the better deal? I'm leaning towards the Gigabyte card since its factory OC'd. I'm not familiar with Asus's Smart Doctor software at all. Does that change the cards's settings on the fly?

If you can recommend a better AMD card I'm open to suggestions.

These Raidmax PSUs have 4 12v rails and are gold rated. I was looking at them myself for a mining rig.

1000w: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152044

Opinions please.
15  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Radeon HD What? on: June 07, 2011, 05:35:19 AM
Since HD 5800 cards are hard to come by at reasonable prices now I would suggest HD 6950s. Get some good ones with after market coolers, like Asus brand ones. Now would be a good time to sell your Nvidia cards as well to make some money back.
