Awesome idea, I really like it! Things like these is what will help a coin succeed. I was incredibly happy that I caught Karma right at it's launch, but since I am lucky to even hit 50kh/s between my 3 PCs I haven't been able to mine much (even though I have been mining since launch). Very generous donation from someone! Has the mooncoin wallet trojan been verified? Makes me a bit uneasy reading that, but I know people scream virus on almost any wallet released (mainly due to false flags).
i was around for the mooncoin launch. there was a trojan in one mooncoin wallet, not a virus. Do we know which wallet version this was? it wasn't a version; it was a 'compiled' 'wallet' posted by a user in the mooncoin thread during the initial-mine chaos that a few people installed and turned out to have a trojan in it. IIRC it was off a mega file link. ever since, i've only installed wallets in discrete VM, compiled my own where possible, and lately i haven't even bothered mining new coins because the risk of a trojan outweighed the possible profit from a new coin. whenever someone has their coins stolen and posts one of these threads, usually they have a dozen or more different wallets installed on the same machine. After seeing so many people burned, it just doesn't make sense for me to take the risk. Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Yeah best to play it safe for sure. |

curiously, you receive email confirmations when you want to unlock password zone. but not the payout zone We just fixed the email issue and the queue is processing now... you should be getting ALL your emails over the next 10-15 minutes, and from here on out. Thanks! I got the initial one, yet when I went to the URL it said token expired and made me request yet another one. This one will process automatically? |

What is the "Immature:" field? Finally got my first block (so I think) and had 50 WIKI incoming, but it doesn't show in confirmed or unconfirmed. Randomly it will pop up underneath those two fields with Immature: 50 WIKI. I have never seen that before in other wallets.
Edit: Make that 2 blocks, but they are both in the same state.
2nd edit: Not I have had 3 of these, two which still show in transactions and one that disappeared.
Blocks are immature until they get enough confirmations. Ah I see, I assumed that is what the "Unconfirmed:" field was for. So any idea why one of my 3 disappeared? Thanks for the response! they are orphans... Ah greaaaaaaaaat. All orphans so far then. |
