are there nodes for the wallet? got problems syncing

having trouble to sync my wallet since an hour. somebody got the same problem? is there a fork or something? got 12 connections and everything but sync stops 3k blocks too early and stays there... help  

im getting 1.1 GH/s (245 WU/m) on my chaosrig (2x 5870, 2x7850, 1x5970) which did 2.2 MH/s on scrypt before.
am i doing this right? i just cant find any info on these cards to compare for keccak. do i need to push the memclock to gain more hashingpower? (of course, i could start trying some values but its always HARD work to get things running smooth with 3 different types of cards. so plz help  thx)

i think its just a matter of time till this coin is no cpu-only coin any more... so at startup its a BOTNET coin, then it gets a GPU-farm coin. by the way, i got a strong feeling that certain individuals already got the right knowledge/miner to mine this on GPUs. maybe thats why theres no premine  

had some problems connecting to that switch-pool. first try was quick like usual, then i got more and more delays over the past few hours when i tried to connect. my bfgminer always told me something bout wrong adress or worker but after a while i was able to connect...
its worth trying! very smooth transition between coins, no disconnects so far and LOTS of coins... NICE!

i got the big problem that almost every altcoin wallet i download doesnt sync! the worst atm are aliencoin and microcoin because i got huge stocks on the miningpools online and dont feel save leaving it there...
whats the problem with those wallets? does the coin need to get more popular and grow more nodes for me to connect to? doesnt make much sense to me, especially because others seem to be able to sync from the start/launch of a coin. if i cant, this means no solo mining for me ever...
is there a trick or something?

i'm quite new to this forum... well, to be honest: im using it since 3-4 months to get the latest news and launch dates of certain coins, but never spent some time to register     i really would like to post my wallet adresses in the giveaway-threads and have a lot of questions about aliencoin and some other coins but this is just not possible due to this forums post restrictions. and i think lots of people out there would like to do the same! one can only post when trusted and trust comes with posts... brace yourselfe! its the chicken and the egg thing.
at some point its not really fair not being able to post in all those giveaway-threads... the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. thats quite the oposite of a crypto currencies spirit, i would say...
