Bitcoin is humankind's most popular payment network/global currency that is not owned or controlled by any single authority. It's a store of value that is trans-national, borderless, open source, irreversible, unfreezable, censorship-resistant, cryptographically secure.

Exchange of value is required on earth, and so it will be required in space - unless entirely new innovations replace the current financial systems.

I've been observing the movement. A global collective of creators, dedicated to the creation of real value and worthwhile structures. Excellent idea to support for all who believe in human cooperation and collaboration. I'll contribute where I can.

As a long time fan of Bitcoin and all things space and astronomy I'm very interested in the connection of the two areas: blockchain tech and space.

Will we, the human race, take BTC and other blockchain tech with us in space? I'm sure we will. When we literally go to the moon, and to mars, etc., what role will Bitcoin serve? How do you imagine the future of currencies/cryptocurrencies in the era of advanced space tech, exploration, and travel?
