Indeed!!! Ethereum is working on POS which will make Asic useless for Ethereum. your 800dollar investment will turn to expensive heater  Cool

They re actually playing cards this time! they just increase the price of E3 from 800 to 1800 dollars.  - for batch 2 which will going to shipped on 16-31 July... nice strategy.

The buyers may think that hmmm! better to buy now...!

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to increase your Hashing Power on Bitmain V9? on: April 05, 2018, 10:22:21 AM
My antminer v9 is hashing for 4.2th/s

I made it to 6.5 to 7 th/s by increasing the frequency on to advanced settings to MAX. You will also notice that your Temperature increases. So you need to do it if your located in cold places where you can sustain 5 to 15 celsius blow air to your miner.

if your house is air condition set up to 731mhz you'll notice that it will increase to 5 th/s but again you need to make sure that your blowing 18 to 20 celsius of air to your asic miner to maintain a temperature of 60 c of your hashing board.

Do it at your own risk. Im not responsible if your miner got broken

I just received an email from bitmain promoting the new antminer E3.

Whos of you guys interested to buy one? are this profitable? what are your input on this?

Also, the Weight 13 kg / 800watts/ 800 us $

Thanks

Please sir can you explain more?

They just advertising their product and as per the ads they will not sell to Hong Kong, Taiwan or WOW! they don't want to sell in China

Maybe theyre afraid that the people will boycott -  when ethereum changes fork

Its pre-order so - the possibility of not working when they reach your door step is very high  Grin

YEA.. i search in google as per his twitter "ethereum founder" they re are working on script as miners voted majority for GPU mining not ASIC.

on Bitmain - they put a note that if the Asic will not work after they bought the miner. They will not refund your purchase.... seems very risky to buy.!

On my Opinion -  i agreed with EThereum founder to make ethereum resistant to asic.

We know bitmain installed some sort of script on their machines. Who knows they selling us a Unit that actually still working for them internally without knowing it. ...

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is Ethereum Still Asic Resistant? on: March 28, 2018, 07:07:42 PM
Now that Bitmain announced that they will lunch Asic for Ethereum - are they able to prevent this from happening? Can they modify the code for ethereum? same what monero's doing?

Though i have Asic machine, but im not PRO- Asic, I dont like them., But to make things easy i have no choice but to have one.

have some option that come to my head this time and let see which one i will be successful.

Option 1: Buy a silent type Fan. The problem here is that - i cant find a fan that have the same rating of the original fan - 6000rpm/4pin pwm

Option 2: Put them into box. or Foam cooler.

Option 3: Mineral Oil

Option 4. Silent Server Cabinet - a bit expensive - but for sure this will do the Job

Option 5. Refrigerator (Cooler) not the one with freezer - this could be the substitute to the Server cabinet.

Option 6. Put them outside. - not really a good Idea

Hi Guys,

I notice that this fan is silent however, the capacity is only 1300rpm and the miner fan is around 4000-rpm.

1- PQ542 Noctua NF-P12 PWM 120mm Cooling Fan

2- Cooler Master Jetflo 120

I know some people they put their miners inside the box but, i don't really like that way.(sorry)

My third option is to put them into mineral oil, but im worried that the glue in heatsink of IC may pull off.

Also, if i'm going to used low rpm fan (1600rpm-pwm), i would maybe used 'Thermoelectric Cooler Peltier' and blow it to the heatsink it will be silent and less maintenance.

Anyone here have a best IDEA?

Thanks
