1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which cryptocurrency do you prefer the most to accept payments in? on: March 11, 2023, 02:40:41 AM
As we all know, Bitcoin  is the most popular and widely accepted cryptocurrency for payments, with many merchants and businesses accepting it as a form of payment. But in reality, people in my country still not using bitcoin as  a payment, instead they are using it as a form of investments. Come to think of it, whenever bitcoin's price sudden increase, will it be use still as a payment form? Not really. Let's always consider the level of adoption in some other countries.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: March 08, 2023, 10:56:22 PM
Such different factors cause this living a hard one. Economic inflations, cost of living, education and healthcare costs. i understand the difficulties you are experiencing but come to think of it, you are surviving until now. That means you are coping up with the situation and you are able to adjust to what it is right now.

Thus, the cost of living is actually challenging to most of us. Government and other agencies, I believe are doing their best to make some solutions about these problems but demands and supply are always connected with these problems.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time is the most valuable thing on: March 08, 2023, 07:58:34 AM

Indeed, time can not get back. But we can always make it up now like having a good time for your ownself and wspent it well with your family. I, myself realize to focus on myself (probably health and happiness) rather than working so hard not to notice the failure we have in our family, etc. Also, it is best to balance the time we have while earning, its hard but if we used to balance everything like doing some crypto trades while enjoying spending time with your family and friends, isn't priceless?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many crypto wallets do you own? on: March 05, 2023, 11:24:08 PM
I actually had at least 6 personal digital wallets. Diversifying all my crypto coins there but i didn't hold huge amount of crypto as it is still prone to hacks and other conflicts. As I have experienced such freeze account on one of my crypto wallet, that's why it was a lesson learned for me since it was so depressing on my side to just let go of that crypto i had which I did not manage to withdraw anymore.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have always wanted to ask this about bitcoin on: February 17, 2023, 11:34:15 AM
Will people still use or buy bitcoin till today if all it has to offer is the decentralized characteristic only, I am trying to say that if bitcoin is stable in value from day one and has no investment ability will you still buy it?

If there is still good use , why not? For sure, there are still other form and use of bitcoin if not about decentralized characteristics, they will not gonna make one if it can't be useful Otherwise if it is stable, it can be a fiat treat and many will become an opposition of this. We can see bitcoin as investment because of its unstability features but if ever it was made opposite, then some other business may adopt this as payment method too, the adoption will be reliable.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Delisted Alts from KuCoin!!! on: February 13, 2023, 12:24:11 PM
Thanks for the heads up, good thing that I've read all those delisted coins in that exchange. Honestly, some of those altcoins that was delisted were actually not that popular, do not have a good crypto use and doesn't have a good trading volume at all. Hence, there are still new altcoins that are potentially be good and can be choose to be traded on some exchange like kucoin and binance.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Important tips to note when considering switching career path. on: February 12, 2023, 05:43:20 AM
It is always best not to settle for only one source of income, or should I say think of other jobs so you won't be switching career anymore. I mean , if you are happy doing your professional skills with less salary the fact that you are happy with what you are doing , then find other sideline jobs for your additional income. As simple as that, its how the way we want our life not to choose a complicated situation when in fact, there are other ways to make it a resourceful one.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will lead the world currency market?? on: February 10, 2023, 08:12:31 AM
Why not? Everything is possible in the future, but that doesnt mean it will gonna lead the world currency, though bitcoin is starting to be known and its popularity is at high level, we cant still predict about it., That is beyond words but if we are talking about digital eras and future happenings, then the power of digital currency will gonna improved. However, the fiat money is hard to replace and  regulations about cryptocurrency are still on going on some countries.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bithumb CEO arrested on: February 05, 2023, 08:45:26 AM
The fact that the CEO was arrested means the reputation of that exhange was surely dragged down. The South Korean authorities have not provided additional information regarding the case but since the rumours about the tax evasion and embezzlement were announced online, those who have their crypto coins on that exchanged surely pulled out already their assets.

I still believe that the  impact on users will depend on the outcome of the said Bithumb CEO legal case and the financial stability of the exchange. However, always remember to be careful whenever we store our assets to this kind of exchange as it is always vulnerable to some conflicts and problems like this in the future.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Monthly or weekly pay? Fixed or percentage earning? what is your prefrence. on: February 04, 2023, 07:44:12 AM
In our country, we've been automatically paid out every 15 days. We are used to be paid out twice a month that is why we preferred that way and  and it is becoming more common as companies  here seek to align payroll with the number of workdays in a pay period. Actually, this type of payment schedule on our country may provide employees with more frequent access to their earnings, more time to budget expenses and bills. more convenient for us too as we balance and budget it well.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be profitable for the business? on: February 03, 2023, 10:29:10 AM
They say it you take the risk of crypto volatility, then why not accept bitcoin payments?
But you have to consider some factors before proceeding with your plans like the legality of Bitcoin in the jurisdiction of the business, the demand from customers for Bitcoin payment options and of course the knowledge of your consumers/ customers about bitcoin payments.

12  Economy / Economics / Re: Can commodities return to its price last year? on: February 02, 2023, 03:22:20 AM
Inflation rapidly increased this year. Basic food stuffs like egg, oil for cooking, meat, and fish here in our country almost doubled compared to its price last year. I'm wondering if it's possible that the price of commodities will return to its previous years.

As we all know, almost all are inflating. Thus, many reasons are causing this like supply and demand, geopolitical events, natural disasters, economic conditions, etc.

Quote
If so, how or what will cause it to happen. It's just scary to think that our money continues to depreciate over the years. Will there be a time that will come where average earners like me won't be able to afford a basic life anymore.

And if you are asking if it's possible to return its price, the answer is its hard to predict it as these underlying reasons factors may eventually affect its price and also have an impact to its future price trends. One thing, it is important to note that price movements can be influenced by short-term and long-term factors, and that predicting future prices can not be predicted whether it will inflate or will go back to previous price as last year.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how the name of Bitcoin is spreading globally! on: February 01, 2023, 09:48:42 PM
Bitcoin is truly becoming more widely adopted and recognized globally as a form of payment and investment and of course it is being adopted too fast nowadays.
Many businesses and individuals are accepting Bitcoin as a payment method, and some are like that of the business you have posted which are agri products with bitcoin name on sacks to spread awareness about bitcoin. Products with a Bitcoin label are products that are specifically designed and marketed to cater the community.

That source of chickpea sacks is surely a bitcoin enthusiast. Nice to see those products are widely used .

Look at this , I saw this online which we can order if we need to.  Grin

Bitcoin is a digital gold but it is not Bitcoin Gold.

If you are the producer printed those bags, you can order the printer to print it is "Bitcoin is a digital gold"

The current label Bitcoin Gold is a free advertisement for Bitcoin Gold, not for Bitcoin.

If you print Bitcoin Diamond, you are shilling for Bitcoin Diamond, not for Bitcoin.

How Many Bitcoin Forks Are There?

At first glance, it thought it's just bitcoin but yeah its bitcoin gold. It has some big impact with this kind of shilling for bitcoin, too. We can't deny about it. Since bitcoin gold was an idea created as a fork from bitcoin .
14  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: February 01, 2023, 04:27:27 AM

15  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Safest way to withdraw profits from Binance on: April 04, 2022, 06:14:07 AM

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain.com Wallet KYC on: April 04, 2022, 04:31:10 AM
Quote
I'm starting to believe that even wallet providers and exchanges are shifting towards a centralization of cryptocurrencies, debunking previous theories about anonymity of funds and personal freedom.

Indeed. Even those who are decentralized were started to require some KYC now thus being strict and following AMLAs regulations. I have experienced one particular wallet which has level options of KYC and with withdrawals and depo limits.

oh people.. your missing the point

blockchain.info wallet(separate department from the exchange) is the wallet service where you can export your private keys..

but thats not the point. its not about the symantics of "custodial"

it's about that blockchain.com exchange (different department) is a service that is an exchange
its the fiat exchange element that creates the need for KYC

Well, thanks for clarifying the point. Since it is one of the well known crypto exchange, the need to know your customer service is a must, considering to know all the details for them to provide better service , to prevent fraud and to know how those customers are using their platforms.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in cryptocurrencies. on: August 04, 2021, 02:58:05 AM
Some say cryptocurrency is a low risk investment but high return and also does this digital currency have a fundamental value so that it is feasible for investment?
What do you think ?

Many of us considered cryptocurrency as a good type of investment. It we are talking the level of the risk, we cant say it's a low risk because the volatile market can lead our investment at dangerous state.

Thats the wrong thinking of people ---the high returns.
Little did they know that we need a good management plan to  have a good return, we also need to control emotions, have a long patience because volatility is something that we need to learn how to deal with.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An interesting example of a SCAM. Signal groups. Carefully! on: August 03, 2021, 07:07:24 AM
That easy gain profits are the reason for them to attract many members. I've seen a lot of that telegram channel groups that has fake profits, fake progress. And they are also recruiting more members for attraction.

I have joined some telegram signal groups, too. But they are just posting some of their signals for free with limited options only. The purpose of their group if you wanna access the full signal, you have to pay for it. Not a scam like that.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum last forever? on: August 03, 2021, 04:14:59 AM
As long as there is an investor that patronize cryptocurrency,  such crypto coins like ETH will still stay longer. If it's forever or not, depends on the future's  threat to the recent digital currency. The fact that ethereum has been very useful in crypto industry in many ways and to think that it help many investors in a financial way, too. I do think it will gonna lasts 'til it's been being used by many of us.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is stop loss and how it works on: August 03, 2021, 02:25:10 AM
There is no zero loss guarantee. We are in a crypto market where the market price is unstable. That is why there is a "stop loss" feature to save you from totally liquidation. There are actually a lot of videos online that explains how those stop loss works. You may try to watch this .

That may also helps you how to use it in a right way as we should always integrate in every trade we make.
