1  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump says 25% tariffs on EU will be announced soon on: February 27, 2025, 09:47:25 AM
On the same day he told about the new tarrifs and the stocks in US lost another 500 billion in capitalisation.
I start thinking that Trump is just not realizing how much Europe is producing and how much that will affect the normal American there.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Some people say trump will join against eu with russia and iran UK need to choos on: February 26, 2025, 09:17:57 AM
IMO Trump is trying to prevent a catastrophic civil war in russia now.
If that happens there are many things which will not be calculated in the equation and many things may go to very bad scenario.
Also in such scenario is almost clear that China may try to take Syberia, which for their army will be quite easy and such move will make them very much independent from anyone else.
There is also something worth to mention that in an event of catastrophic civil war in russia many might and will flee the country. By many I mean millions and that will put the social systems of the whole west at big risk.

Anyway even if the war stops tomorrow, russia should be prepared for very hard years to come, because mainly of the lack of workforce (~1 million left in the beginning of the SMO, almost so are 200 or 300), and of course there are about 600k soldiers that will return from the SMO and most of them will not be able to find a job fast enough.

So, yes, right now the both winners here are EU with its money policy towards Ukraine and also the frozen russian assets that I doubt russia will ever receive again. And China, right now and in the next years russia will be very, very dependant of them. That's where Trump is trying to find its place and have some more possitive gains too.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Immortality on: February 15, 2025, 10:46:59 AM
If I must be honest that sounds really plausible for the long term future. Actually some of the things are already happening, and I think that we are still to see personal AI Assistants, but it will take some time for that of course.
I just hope that the corporations that will introduce these AI Assistants will make this right.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Keep your btc in one or more wallets? on: February 15, 2025, 10:40:06 AM
I have always prefered to keep them in few separated wallets if I must be honest.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin’s Price Will Continue to Rise on: January 19, 2025, 12:41:12 PM
With the time the demand will only grow. Bitcoin have already proved itself very good asset for value storage as well as an investment tool.
The other very good thing about Bitcoin is that it can be everywhere with you, no matter how many borders you cross.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will you sell your alts? on: January 11, 2025, 10:33:58 AM
I don't think I will ever sell all of them.
Last year I was testing a new strategy which for few positions worked great.
1. I buy some coins just to be able to track the price better.
2. if the price of any of these coins drop to at least 50% I buy more so I cut the loses
3. if and when any coin gain at least 400% (like SUPER) I sell and I am left with the exact same value that I have invested in this coin so far.
4. The rest of the money that I made are left alone till I find another coin to invest.

Unfortunately this requires a lot of patience, but it is very good when one coin gains 400% and you sell Smiley
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chile nation-state mining lobbyist Andrés Villagrán pushing for Bitcoin reserve on: January 08, 2025, 08:53:01 AM
I think that many countries are now beginning to realize that the total number of BTC will always be 21m, which means that at one point less people/institutions will have even 1BTC or they will be able to have of course.
That said if you are in MicroStrategy position now with marketcap going up you are set to only profit from this investment, of couse this is very long term strategy, but it is more or less the same with the different countries bonds.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe Delisting USDT on: January 06, 2025, 09:21:54 AM
I really hope that this with time this also will fade and they will return it back on the markets. If not, maybe it is time to consider another stable coin like USDC or BUSD.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia using Bitcoin for foreign trade ! on: December 31, 2024, 10:22:25 AM
They maybe will stop using it so much (after all we don't know how much they are using Bitcoin in trades), but after all at some point they will already have much of the cryptos incorporated into their state one way or another.
10  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🐵 MonkeyTilt.com | BTC Price Prediction ' December 29 | WIN $50! on: December 18, 2024, 06:53:52 AM
I would go for $183k +- $3k, that's what one of the models say, and the one that I fully believe in right now.
11  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: December 17, 2024, 07:32:01 AM
Thanks Rikafip,
These are really interesting statistics.
I just wonder why most of the bigger countries are not posting as much, but it most probably have its explanation.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Confused on rotating profits. I’m scared my portfolio size is way too big. on: December 15, 2024, 09:40:43 AM
What I don last 2 cycles is pretty risky, but actually it payed out.
I buy as much as I can (different coins), I am not including my BTC holdings in this strategy.
So currently I own something like 100+ page 1,2,3,4 different tokens.
Once I see it down with at least 50% I buy more just to make it at 0 (or around that)
I continue doing this with all the coins during a bear market.

In the bull market I already had around 5k in different coins invested during the last 2 bear market. So when the bull market starts I am just waiting for an up at around 400% or so, then I sell 3/4 of this particular coin I leave small amount just to be able to track it in the future. What I have sold I am not investing right away, but keep it away for the bear market. So yeah, it will take me at least 3-4 cycles more to become a millionaire from this, but it is quite good for training my anxiety during a bull and bear market.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we still pursue careers impacted by AI? on: December 14, 2024, 12:11:07 PM
AI is actually very good in automatisation for a few everyday tasks, but overall is not yet ready to start doing 100% of the tasks a normal person do on a daily basis. For example I really doubt that it can successfully go through a normal BRD file and execute all of the needed in it all by itself. But still it can be very helpfull in automating and increasing the productivity of most of the individuals.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the growth path or learning path for traders? on: December 12, 2024, 12:49:47 PM
Quote

Starting simple is a great way to ensure you will get something in the end.
PNL is still a PNL, even if it's not that big.
The best thing if it's stable and the strat is applied appropriately, on the needed market.

I remember few years ago in 2015-2016 when first started more or less serious trading that I have started with less than $100 because I needed to learn first.
If I must be honest almost all of these $100 was lost, but some of the lessons I learned I am still using till today, and not only in trading. Thanks
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season? on: December 03, 2024, 08:02:19 AM
Personaly IMO we are still just scratching the surface of what we may see in the coming few months.
Unfortunately the global situation is so dynamic that we can easily be at the top even right now, just not realizing it yet.
I really hope that this is not the case and with a potential rise of Bitcoin we may also see big rise in most of the major alts too, likely a month or two later.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Give a reason for your recommendation. on: November 26, 2024, 12:15:23 PM
Since 2013, I have constantly told everyone I know that they should invest at least $10 monthly every month.

My reason was that this is the future and $10 are not so much for a monthly payment which eventually turned out to be a great idea.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin All-Time High almost reached yesterday on: November 07, 2024, 10:48:17 AM
Right now I expect that we will have at least a week with this new price range, and most probably next week or the week after we can see some good movement. Just remember that Trump have 2 more months before becoming a president again.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pakistan taking a U-turn on: November 05, 2024, 07:40:56 AM
Personally I don't think that China will lift the BAN soon, it is just not possible to have a control of the money like they want with Bitcoin.
For me the next countries that will embrace Bitcoin will be located in Europe if not the whole EU at once. By embrace I mean that most of them will start having it as a reserve currency.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft shareholders will be voting if company should invest in Bitcoin! on: October 25, 2024, 02:29:54 PM
It was said, but personaly I don't see how much Bitcoin can benefit from such investment.
Now, if they decide to start building their own ecosystem on top of Bitcoin's one it will be a major one which will be much more helpfull for Bitcoin. I really think that someday this will become reality, but till then I am sure that we still have very much in front of us.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should run a Bitcoin node on: September 25, 2024, 09:41:46 AM
The only issue I have with this is that someday it will become practically impossible to have full node on home machine.
2015 I used to run a full node on my laptop and it was more or less much easier. But the time goes...
