BCH区块顺利升级至32MB, 增加若干新特性.

BCH的应用越来越多, 价格越来越高. 面对这样的局面, core团队没有任何动作, 真是挺奇怪的. 是不作为还是憋大招呢?

I just read news on news.bitcoin.com that BCH community is in hot discussion and preparation for "Zero-Confirmation" transactions, which is BCH version of lightning network, the technology standing behind both are different of course but that's another topic. I think if BTC does not deploy LN soon, the risk of being replaced by BCH will expand, considering the recent tidal acceptance of BCH all over the world, I am sure BTC community and Lightning Network organizations are now under great pressure to push forward LN deployment and application. I am huge fan of BTC but recently I have bought just the same amount of BCH as a hedge. Who knows which will win in the end after all, isn't it?

If you can afford to lose your house, you can do it, great profit comes after great risk; if you cannot afford to lose your house, don't, never invest more than what your are willing to lose.

I have heard a thousand times that many bitcoins are lost due to the owners either forget their private keys, lost the hard drive, or simply die before they tell their family about the wealth. Although 21 million sounds like a lot, but with accidents like those keep happening, it's sooner or later bitcoin will gradually...be depleted. I know now the reward for miners are new issued bitcoins plus transaction fees, could it be possible that some day the reward includes a new feature, that all wallets will give a small portion of its balance to the miners, either a small percentage of the balance, or just a few Satoshis per wallet. So that "dead" bitcoins will slowly become global wealth for all humans again over a great span of time? What do you think? Is it a very stupid idea?

I have no substantial evidence, but I have a hunch that Bitcoin price will remain at the same level as it is now with small fluctuations. For one thing, global governments are still trying to come up with ideas to balance regulation and innovation, meaning uncertainties; for another thing, neither Lightning Network nor Bitcoin Cash see any massive deployment soon, meaning lack of boost power. That being said, any prediction and analysis on cryptocurrencies is probably useless, because it never worked.

Bitcoin is not a bubble, it is either a revolution hero, or a dead failed revolution hero.

请问技术神, 搭建闪电网络全节点有利可图吗?

我认为政府在接纳比特币作为储值手段或交易媒介之前, 一定会拼命砸盘囤积足够的储备. 按照世界范围内的平均挖矿成本, 7000至8000美元是平衡点, 低于这个价格区间会引发矿难, 高于这个区间不足以引发恐慌抛售. 最近的种种迹象暗示比特币全球监管合法的可能性偏高, 因此我们有理由怀疑目前的价格就是政府进行比特币屯粮的价格. 当然不排除政府暗中补贴矿池赔本挖矿维持区块链运行, 砸到更低的死亡价格再囤积的可能性. 以上纯属个人猜测, 欢迎讨论.

你说的没错, 从理念上看, BCH更符合P2P Cash System的定义, 但毕竟BCH是一个硬分叉, BTC是软分叉, 按照习惯, 人们认为软分叉类似升级, 而硬分叉是一种新币. 所以真的很难判断谁才是太子. 站在政府的角度, 他们一定希望crypto中心化, 闪电网络正好迎合了政府的胃口, 中心化的交易节点更容易迎合监管, 更容易控制. 我们的理想是去中心去政府, 但毕竟我们还都生活在政府管理之下, 太过叛逆容易受伤啊.

Core和Cash都是正统, 它们各自继承了中本聪原始版本比特币的一半特征. 所以夺嫡之争没有太大意义, 要看它们的发展和潜力. 相比之下我更偏爱Core, 因为SegWit的扩展性赋予了Core无限的潜力, 但同时我也没有放弃Cash, 因为大区块带来的主链吞吐能力也很吸引人. 持有同样数量的Core和Cash是比较安全的方法, 尤其对于我们这些Core的支持者来说, Cash的价格当然更好接受.

只是英国单方面公投通过退欧决定了, 退欧流程还有很长的路要走.

不知道在UK退出EU后这个牌照在EU是否会失效.

最近的确有很多利好BCH的进展. 我还是老观点, 持有同样数量的BTC和BCH, 无论花落谁家你都是赢家.

BTC和BCH各有优缺点. BTC主链拥堵手续费高昂是缺点, 但SegWit所带来的无限扩展可能性是优点; BCH粗暴提高blocksize造成区块链运行的硬件负担是缺点, 但大区块以及未来后续扩容所带来的主链吞吐能力是优点. 暂时看这两个币发展得都不错, 鉴于各自上限同为2100万, 建议持有等量BTC和BCH, 无论花落谁家你都是赢家.

你的想法也是一部分人的共识, 但有个问题, BTC和BCH上限同为2100万, 也就是说在理想状态下, 全世界都使用BTC储值, 用BCH支付, 那么BTC与BCH的合理汇率就是1:1, 那岂不是抛弃BTC, 直接使用BCH同时储值与支付更方便? 这两种币各有优缺点, 我都会长期持有, 但最后可能只能有一个存活下来, 目前我更看好BTC, 因为SegWit和LN给了它无限扩展的可能性, 而BCH只能通过暴力增大blocksize扩展, 虽然增大blocksize也有结构简单等优点.

至少在日本, 比特币已经是合法支付手段, 也就是货币.

是否去中心化本身也不是那么重要, 中心也好, 去中心也罢, 重点是不滥发. 只要不滥发, 中心化货币也没什么不好. 问题是中心化很难忍住不滥发.
