1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Dogecoin Pool doge.scryptpools.com - 2% fee on: December 17, 2013, 11:50:49 PM
Got a payout of only the first 180 doge (out of the 5-8k daily I should expect from my workers), and it took 24 hours to transfer to my wallet.

The dashboard shows my workers doing kh/s, but 0 doge confirmed/unconfirmed since yesterday.

One stats page shows me making 8100 doge/day, but then I actually have 0.

What pool should I use instead?

It sounds like more than a couple of us just joined to get more info on what's going on with the doge pools. Those stats in padman's post look a lot like those of doge.scryptpools.com. I joined up yesterday morning for fun, but: the dashboard only shows 180 of the 16000 doge I should expect per day; there are constant connection issues; I've not received any payout since my request yesterday; and the site is mad slow.

I'm on Debian and what's a virus?

But seriously, NOD32 is excellent if you have to use a Win box. Low resource usage, and you can visit malware-infested sites for fun. Kaspersky is a close second in terms of identifying malware, but it gets too many false positives and uses too many resources.

Why would you install a cracked AV? Now the one thing protecting you from malware might have malware baked-in. MSE, Avast, and several other decent ones are free...

To whine about issues with the doge pool I joined.  Grin
