1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY]🚀UBCOIN - EXCHANGE CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR REAL GOODS🚀 on: June 02, 2018, 05:18:10 PM
Hi

I just wanted to say that since the ICO is over, I will be removing my signature now.  Best of luck with the success of this project!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the reasons behind banning cryptos? on: May 28, 2018, 06:10:43 PM
There have to be many reasons.  The main one being that governments like to be able to oversee everything and cryptocurrencies are often decentralized.  This can make it easier for laundering money and might have an effect on the number of people claiming the wrong information for tax purposes.

I thought my submission went through on the 15th, but I don't see my article post being in the spreadsheet.

Can you update the spreadsheet?

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that every end of the year so many Crypto-holders are rich? on: May 13, 2018, 08:25:36 PM
I think it is just about supply and demand.  Price goes up because people are not selling and more people want to invest.  I see so many people get rich off of it because they buy when it is low and sell when it goes up.  You can do this on a daily basis or you can try to predict the price when you hear about good news pertaining to the coin.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto going strong! on: May 13, 2018, 05:05:47 PM
I like how things are finally starting to settle but would much rather see a big spike like some were suggesting.  Just gotta hold your coins and see how things go!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: May 05, 2018, 11:27:18 PM
That's funny.  I bet as soon as you sell them, then the price will go up!  You might cop another coin and see what you think, just don't overdo it Smiley.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FILECOIN, biggest ico ever! on: May 03, 2018, 03:12:23 AM
Thanks for the information here.  I had not heard of this one.  Always good to hear what someone else has to think.

You might also take a look at bitshares and ubcoin market.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: May 03, 2018, 03:10:06 AM
Ouch!  I really feel for you there!  Just know, you are not alone!

Luckily, on my end, this has not happened yet because I like to hold onto mine and watch them keep growing Smiley.  You could try that!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: May 01, 2018, 11:30:28 PM
I think you are spot on when you say that Twitter makes for a great platform to promote.  Promoting in forums and on steam are some other great ways.  It always helps to have an established account as well.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: life of a trader on: April 30, 2018, 01:20:21 AM
I think it is easy to see that there are two types of traders.  One that does it every day and that is all that they do.  Then there is the trader that does it on the side outside of their normal day job.  If you give that some thought, you can pretty much come up with how each of them work.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: April 29, 2018, 11:22:02 PM
That is so terrible, wow!  It makes me want to be extra careful with anything that I have.  It looks like he lost about a million dollars worth of bitcoin!  2 million if he would have sold when it was higher!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: April 29, 2018, 10:36:00 PM
I think its good that you have some bitcoin and some ethereum.  I also agree with the ripple!  Try checking out bitshares and ubcoin market.  They are at a really good price right now and I foresee them going up!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What portfolio app do you use? on: April 29, 2018, 10:07:36 PM
I use Blockfolio and it has always done me well.  It is free and the prices are always accurate.  I would definitely recommend them!.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest to Ripple? on: April 29, 2018, 09:10:55 PM
I don't see the banks trying to scam individual people.  If anything the banks will ensure the success of the coin.  If it were me, I would invest in Ripple.  I personally have some Ripple.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange ask for KYC? on: April 29, 2018, 08:59:25 PM
I think there are many exchanges that do not require KYC.

Why would this be an issue?  They should not be asking for information like that.  Maybe try Binance.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: April 27, 2018, 12:23:44 AM
Yes, this scares me and I think it scares many others as well.  This is the exact reason that I will limit myself to how much cryptocurrency I will hold in one place.

I suppose the one way to protect yourself is to take it to an offline wallet.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to 'lost' coins? on: April 26, 2018, 09:10:07 PM
These coins are essentially gone forever.  They are as good as burnt.  Without getting back into whatever held them, they can not be recovered.

This is why it is absolutely crucial to store your coins where you can access them safely.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin under 1$ to invest in now? on: April 24, 2018, 10:55:03 PM
I can give you so many of these.  Check out bitshares, ripple, and verge.  These are some that I know will continue to go up over time.  All of which are sitting at good prices.

Ubcoin will do well too Smiley
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your Cryptos?? Holding / Selling / Buying more? on: April 24, 2018, 02:08:05 AM
I can honestly say that I am holding and have no plans of selling in the near future.  I will keep getting more as I make more with my daytime job and doing side jobs here and there.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1000 which low capped alt coins should I go for? on: April 22, 2018, 11:42:33 PM
Whichever coin you decide to go for, don't spend all of your money on that coin.  If you like what the company seeks to do, you can put a majority of it to that coin, but I would also take at least a quarter of that and put it to a couple of others.

That is if you are looking for long-term gain, of course.
