2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Will jailbreaking iPhone compromise Bitcoin security? (Gox, Coinbase, etc...) on: December 29, 2013, 06:12:07 AM
Change your root password when jailbreaking. (Assuming you have OpenSSH installed). If somebody had physical access to the phone, they could compromise half of the security using 2fa.

Turing does deserve some justice.
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: COINBASE DOES SUCK!!! How else can you sell btc if you want usd? on: December 28, 2013, 05:43:02 AM
I had the same issue with them before, so I emailed them and received a response in a couple days. My account was whitelisted and my original transactions were honored. I wish the same luck to you, as I have seen that coinbase is not honoring some users transactions.

So - new question - A: how would one encrypt a paper wallet?

Bitaddress.org has an option for encrypting a paper wallet with BIP38. But I wouldn't encrypt a paper wallet anyway. Reason being is that the chance of the paper wallet getting physically stolen is much lower than you forgetting the password. Unless you are extremely worried about physical security, don't encrypt a paper wallet.
