That's called a false positive. Many AV's flag Bitcoin Core and related software as a trojan because it looks for a wallet.dat file. This is what it is supposed to do as it is the creator of the wallet.dat file and uses it.
There is no virus in this wallet, we've proven that with the amount of wallets that has been downloaded already. Hope that helps Smiley

any comments on the trojan on wallet dev?

Absolutely... it's simply a false positive. Many wallets give these scan readings.
It doesn't mean anything. Trust us the wallets are fine and are running smoothly.

Thanks Smiley

I think you should probably check this, when i install the wallet i got warning that the application might harm my system.

It won't harm you system. Please proceed with the installation by running anyway. It brings up this error because
your security settings are picking it up but it is 100% benign we can assure you. The wallet is Virus free.

Thank you!
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the government ban bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 10:25:38 AM
I don't think the government will ban cryptocurrency because that's essentially what you are saying. All other cryptos are pretty much in the trail of Bitcoin itself. The government won't be able to completely ban on it however I can see them implementing regulations that will not shut it down but attempt to make it more transparent, that's why so many ICO's are now under scrutiny. It's not just the scammy coins out there that are causing this alarm and need for closer monitoring, it's a way that the government can piggy back on a legitimate excuse to attempt to control how cryptos are mined/minted and distributed.

Depending on the industry you are in, monitoring maybe ok however there will always be cryptos out there that will operate in true privacy. These are the coins I'm aiming for that have a solid future vision. This is a great question and credit to the poster who asked this.
