Yes, it has come this far: The blockchain is invading the craft beer industry. We are introducing Craftcoin - the crypto currency for beer lovers.
It is a utility coin based on the ERC20 token standard.
Its main purpose is to facilitate financial transfers in the craft beer industry. This would not only help to increase the volume of the import/export of craft beer but it would also strengthen its independence from the mass beer market.
We are based in Berlin, Germany, which not only has become a major European hub for blockchain startups but also for craftbeer breweries.
Every year 3-4 million hector litres of craft beer are being produced in Germany alone, while the international market is on the rise as well. That's why we will also start a franchise of craft beer bars, which will become the meeting spot for the craft beer and crypto industry.
