HAHA.. I messed up. But that's probably a good thing! I deleted my entire wallet (except wallet.dat) including the original wallet download.
Now when I click on the Windows wallet link on the OP, the file no longer exists online. Good discovery! We need to have that back up if we want people to get back into this coin! Chris, can you give me a link for the wallet.zip file? Thanks!

Sitting on the loading page says "importing bootstrap blockchain data files" Been about an hour now.
How is it now? Possibly do a fresh install first. Leave with new wallet and add in after syncing. |

Decryption key !A_jqXA8Sbx461NDb4mqfvXZRXWI4HiksQ_BE7adHW1I Just unzip and put in the Plankton folder as you would updating wallet.dat or Plankton.conf files. Hi FOODies
My wallet is now fully synced, there is a possibility it's all going so slow and not connecting possible fork for some. So after speaking with MrZ28s, I will bootstrap my wallet and give you all the bootstrap.dat file to download and show you how to save into the directory and we shall go from there. Fingers crossed this will be the easiest way around and get us all back up and running again. I'm from Australia, so only morning here now and at work! I will have this done by tonight, and have a link for download.
That is if everyone is happy to go forward with this idea?

Just a quick update, still having problems with wallets connecting! I have one syncing... very very verryy slowly. So I am going to have to look into what is wrong with the network etc, and getting more nodes. Like I said before technically/coding etc, not to great, but I am learning quickly - I don't want to rely on others as they have let me down in the past! But it may come to that point at some stage. It could come down to recreating FOOD to FOOD 2.0 or something like that, but then that leads to how do we exchange our FOOD that we have already, if wallets aren't working etc.
Please bare with me as I am working hard to try and get this all up and running again. Thanks for all your inboxes of support as well! Let's look to the new year for FOOD and have a dominant presence in the Crypto World!
P.S How crazy is BTC going at the moment!! Thoughts?

I will update the OP with all new links to Wallets etc. Seems they have all been deleted.
I would suggest a fresh install of the wallet with a brand new .dat file. Once synced then add in your old wallet.dat file.
Will update when all is uploaded.

I am not having any luck getting my wallet going... Tried adding in those nodes still nothing  Any suggestions? Same here, one wallet is syncing ever so slowly! The other doesn't want to connect at all using the same connections. Until this and block explorer are up and running, I won't be able to get us on an exchange. Will work on this over the weekend! Cheers, Chris anyway we can get back on ccex exchange, i still have coins there ,couldn't get them off didn't have a working wallet at the time of delisting.Im sure i wasnt the only one who couldn't I will look into this also. Hi all,
Sorry for my absence, let's just say personal reasons and constant people in team letting me down, I got fed up of it and let it go. I should have at least posted something to let you all know. As far as me running off with millions, ha! I wish. I think I forked out more BTC and FOOD and currently in the negative. I still hold all my FOOD from day one, and haven't sold off any. It started as a takeover from another dev that sent it into the ground, and I tried to gain movement, but nothing availed. Not meaning I didn't try! Relicords and myself worked harded to get it back on to markets, creating roadmaps, marketing, websites etc, but we were more the business side of things, and unfortunately the dev we had been working with and promised us all these great new features basically ran away with our money and here we are today.
I'd love to get this back up and running, and invest my time and money into it once again to try and re-ignite the flame that once was. Open to any ideas or help in regards.

I have some good news for anyone who could not access their FOOD currency due to delistment on Bittrex. I was inspecting the blockchain and I found what I believed to be the Bittrex address for all the unclaimed FOOD and I inquired about their plans and if that is indeed where the are being held and support replied with "The remaining balance still belongs to the user if the coin should ever return the site." So I suppose you can still get it back since they still considered it to be yours. If it were me I would open a support ticket and provide all the relevant amounts, transactions, and addresses to prove how much you had and where and they may still send it too you.
Thanks for finding out for us! Once momentum starts again and volume picks up we should see ourselves added back anyhow. What do we have planned for the near future that will get momentum going? IMO The only thing that will kick start any coin is making it work someone's while to trade it. Some coins get lucky and get volume and some do not but the one thing I know that will always kill any coin is traders not offering serious exchange rates. Once again, keyword to success it volume. This is true. Most coins these days are dependent on their trading volume and some serious Satoshi rates! Being at 1sat hardly helps our cause. We need some serious coin pumped into it to start a movement. Yes with BTC being so low, I might acquire some and get it moving along. I have been in contact with Relicords and now have access to all our social media sites, so I will begin marketing on them from Monday. I am still looking into a dev to recreate the wallet - not sure if it is needed now, as the blockchain seems to be moving smoothly again, but will ask any how. Also will speak with him in regards to android/apple wallets. FOOD needs to be able to used anywhere at anytime, that's why I see these apps of high importance. As far as Casheer we will wait to hear what has happened from the demo! Cheers, Chris. Getting it cheap and waiting in the 1 Sat queue is doing alright for me. I wish more people would try other currencies but that's just how it is at the moment it seems. See the problem is I don't want to be a majority holder of FOOD - I don't think that would be fair in terms of when it is at higher volumes I could manipulate the market (not saying I would - but that's what people would say!). That 40odd million on c-cex at 1sat would bring my holdings to 200million food... thats a 20% holding of the whole supply. |
