Well said Allon,
Personally would like the software of the Tagcoin suite to be updated and integrated into Tagbond perhaps.
It could become like part of the history of Tagbond as their Retro coin and an ode to PoS/PoW.

Currently, there are many businesses owning such e-wallets and they are doing very well in marketing to get more customers.
So what does TAG have to be more special than those big rivals?
Does the team have a lot of money for marketing? Or is the team different about fee or services? Please show me the potential of this project.
I think you are reffering to Tagcash, which holds an E-money license to run PHP on a permissioned blockchain. TAG original is a scrypt coin, which is not being used within the Tagcash platform anymore. It still has a small group of followers, which would like to breath air into the old coin. But they are not controlled or funded by Tagcash in anyway. Tagcash had to move on due to the limited use of that type of blockchain. Now they are using Multichain and Stellar blockchain for part of their services. Tagcash differs itself from other licensed E-wallets, as they recently opened up as a Fintech development platform, which means their core repository is now open to the cloned and build ontop. These can be modules(mini programs) for within Tagcash, apps and services or for a yearly fee companies can have their standalone app with the Tagcash core, build around the wallet, https://tagcash.com/develop.php. But if you are into app development, its is now very easy to start with with limited money and time a module(mini program) within Tagcash wallet, to test to the existing users and then decide if you want a standalone app or not. So all and all, what makes Tagcash different compared to the local big boys, is they opened up for others to display their development within Tagcash using the Tagcash core. This is how WeChat became huge in China. WeChat has over 1M mini programs within their super app in China, which can be found in the library by scanning QR codes which are displayed basically everywhere a business would need help of their app to sell their services. Probably because the main focus is not on TAGX.
Tagcash has became a Fintech development platform, where others can build on top of the existing apps develop new ones around the wallet and core features.
The goal is that many modules and stand alone apps will be developed with the existing open repository.
Yobit is holding the original Tagcoin, which is not being supported already for a long time by Tagcash. You can still swap them, I think
So the more modules are being developed, the more users will come. The more users will come, the more modules/apps will likely to be made, ;-)
Me personally will give out some TAGX to visitors of an event which is listed on Tag77, so it gets used as a rewards currency.
You could do the same and more, if you are worried about the project as a platform and the value of your TAGX, which you probably bought very cheap on the SDEX :-)

You don't have to swap. Of course you can just keep the old Tagcoin, and hope it will be used for store of value, like BTC
For the people who want to give more value and actual use case to their coins and believe in Tagcash as a company, can still burn their TAG original and get 10X Tagcash Rewards(TAGX) back. Also people can swap TAGCOIN on Stellar for TAGX, 1 to 1. This is not to get more traction, but just to give a choice to old followers of the platform. As people might know, it has taken a couple of years before was decided which direction Tagcash would go. Now it is clear and we are on the edge of full use of Tagcash apps and services in the Philippines. This will attract small and big companies to partner, white label or build on Tagcash.
Concerning social media channels for TAG original, the community needs to point out someone who will take over. I though Mark already wrote that earlier.
How many followers does TAG original still has actually, 10-20 or more? Maybe we could do a poll and vote for the new social media expert for TAG original.

Tag on stellar 10 billion tag at 1c probably wont be enough in a global arena. Globaly is the ultimate goal, tagcash now has a better payment system than the likes of paypal, its only a matter of time but it happens, Rewards currency still is money Is it not... With tag original, xtag i value it like its bitcoin Thanks for the comparison @ ALLON2017 - TAG Original is well positioned to be a niche payment system for evolving markets as well as for tipping or Tagging others as it was originally envisaged. TAG's wealth comes from its community - we have a viable market ( NovaExchange) and a working stable wallet back by an active hash-rate on its block chain. Still no word from Mark. Plus the pinchpool never eventuated, so Findblocks.Wales is still our preferred pool. Awesome news and great community. Now if someone could make TAG original faster and cheaper, then it really could be used for payments, rewards and tipping. Till then not much user case, really. Which merchant would want to wait a couple of blocks before payment has been made. Maybe the community can work on a Lightning network for TAG original.
@T.A.G. What answer are you waiting for from Mark? More info on the swap of TAG original for TAGX? Or your interest to take over Tagcoin's social media channels? |

TagCoin (TAG) was issued on Stellar Blockchain (details of the stellar.toml is at https://tagcash.com/.well-known/stellar.toml) and is used to pay for services in the system, and any products built on the Tagcash Blockchain. There were 10 Billion Tokens issued. Balances on Tagcash were automatically multiplied by 100. Any old currency from the original TagCoin created in 2013, can be burned for 100 to 1 conversion rate to the new Stellar based TagCoins. Burn address is TRCryptoLifeDotNetBurnAddrXXX6gvik - send info to mark at tagcash dot com with the burn transaction ID and either the Tagcash ID number or your Stellar address. Thats from page 1 on the other thread I think people deserve an explanation as why only 10-1 exchange is offered and I really don't want to here how good the new token is otherwise ill start another old Tagcoin thread in the alt coin section. I think that was a typo and should always been 10 to 1, like on the website. Everybody had plenty of time to burn and swap and even now still has the opportunity. Otherwise it's still very cheap to buy TagCoin in SDEX as well. I think in Tagcash wallet, 1 TAG is valued at the equivalent of 1 cent. But on SDEX it can still be bought with XLM for way less than that. I have been scooping up a bit more lately. |

Thank you for your response to the concerns of this being a scam. That truly would be very disappointing as this seems like an excellent project that could potentially make everyone involved alot of money. That being said, it would seem to me that to run an exit scam or to try and fool the people to invest would be very stupid on your part. Has anyone released their statements yet concerning their involvement like you have stated above? Nobody is talking about a scam or exit scam, lol. Exit of what, there is never been a finished ICO, lol. The whole project is self funded, with in the beginning only a group from China having interest, so they bought some old TagCoin, then got the opportunity to swap and burn the old token for a newer version on Ethereum. Tagcash couldn't solve the problems, they wanted to solve with micropayments on Ethereum cause of speed and costs, so they moved on to the new TagCoin on Stellar for external use and MultiChain for internal use. Also with this swap, the followers had the chance to burn their old tokens and get the new ones. They have been finishing module after module for more then a few apps and still have a lot more to work on in the near future. As having an EMI license, will help them to partner with other financial entities worldwide, more currencies will be added on the blockchain in order to create faster and much cheaper transactions. Advise for anyone trying to follow Tagcash, please also have a look at their public forum running on Ryver. Also they communication via chat on website, telegram ( http://t.me/tagcashwallet), facebook page, http://facebook.com/tagcashrewards), and twitter ( http://twitter.com/tagcashwallet). Or for users can login to the webwallet - there is also a demo version (demo.tagcash.com) to play with, with it's own demo multichain etc. Good for developers to play with. Developers can also access the REST API, at developer.tagcash.com. And then they have a couple apps up and running, like TagTalk, TagWild(game), Tagcash wallet and now Tag Learn. Tagbond(supply chain and provenance) being revamped as we speak and another game called Tag Play is also on its way. |

Alyssa, you know that Tagcash has no use for the old TagCoin, sold through Yobit anymore since quite some time already? They have moved on to a new TagCoin on Stellar network with more advantages. Ok there was 100 million TAG on the Tag blockchain then they were converted 10 billion new TAGS which are currently on the Stellar Network.
Thats 100 times more coins yet Tagcash is only offering 10/1, you would have to be very very foolish to exchange your coins at that price.
I don't think its is illegal for them to offer such a ridiculous exchange rate, or is it ?
Old Tagcoin doesn't have any real life purpose, while new TagCoin on Stellar is being used for fast and free micropayments within several mobile apps already.
Latest being an E-learning app, called Tag Learn, where 1 TagCoin can be used to watch 1 lesson. Great if you don't like monthly subscriptions. |

I also noticed that a on the Tagcash.com websites that 100 new tag coin were being offered for every 1 old tag coin, but recently it changed to only 10 new tag coins being offered for 1 old tag coin , Why did this change happen? I am thinking of purchasing tag off interstellar.
Noticed that too a while back already, but I think it was a mistake and noticed by a community member, so they rectified it correctly back to 10 to 1 on both Tagcoin.org and Tagcash.com websites. Wise to buy on Stellar as it is still really cheap at the moment. Through the app each TagCoin is or will be sold for $0.01 and tagcash is not going to sell for less, but more likely will raise the price once many TagCoin is being sold. Meaning the ones on the Stellar network are crazy cheap right now. I bought a big batch already as well and I think it will not take too long before more savvy people will find out. I think there are only around 1M up for grabs before the price comes closer to what Tagcash will sell them for. Did you actually had a look at their Android app already? |

No I am not worried about stellar trading, I don't like how some people interfere with my business my account.
Oh right, you would like it all decentralised, instead of a hybrid of permissioned and permissionless blockchains to be compliant. That is not easy as regulations are slowly rolling out in order for companies or users to use, create and hold tokenized assets, tokens or coins or build user applications further on the blockchain to benefit the user and companies with all DLT has to offer. Or you don't like regulations either? You think old Tag on Yobit is decentralised, lol. Anyway DLT has so much more to offer then only the crypto aspect, don't you think? |

I can now see why theres no trust in tagcash.
What do you not trust about it? The trading volume on SDEX, lol The platform and therefore also Tagcoin is about to get known a lot more than it is now, don't worry about that. It is still in development process, although some modules are live already. |

Why TAG not on stellarX its on others but not there.
It is on SDEX, so should be able open a trustline from every Stellar wallet or exchange. Just go to account settings, then Stellar network, where you can open/close trustline to any Stellar asset. The fact that StellarX doesn't list it on their main page, has to do with not enough trading volume. Later when Tagcoin will be used more, the trading volume will go up and it will appear in the "first" page. Now you can just search for the Asset as well. |
