2  Bitcoin / Project Development / [NEW] CCKurs.com - realtime rate changes of the most important crypto-coins on: December 21, 2013, 05:29:47 PM
Hey all,

I would like to introduce the brand new online service,
which requests exchange rates of the most important crypto-coins (cc)
from different trading platforms and presents them to the user on a website at realtime.

The main difference to other similar services is, that
the rates (weighted by trading volume) are steady refreshed and
the changes are highlighted by percentage.

The percentage is more important for traders than the rate,
because it gives you the possibility to calculate whether you have gained or lost.

Real stock traders calculate not in Bitcoins or Dollars, but in gained percents.
(if you buy a bitcoin for 1000 dollars and sell for 1010 dollars, you don't have earned 10 dollars, because normally you have to pay transaction fees (buy + sell) to trading platform (0,4 - 0,5%))

We have actually no charts, because the charts are dependent on the scale, and could distort whether gained or lost.

On the other hand, charts can go up or down in seconds because of speculation or buying/selling by some big player.
CCKurs.com presents the changes from different trading platforms, so that you can see, it's short or long jump.

You can select multiple crypto currencies, which you want to monitor at realtime,
and see whether ups and downs are reliable to all platforms or one only.

Additionally, CC Changelog shows the actual changes of average rates for all listed crypto-coins.

Requirements: actual browser with enabled support of web sockets (all modern browsers).

The service is free of charge. No registration required.

Check it out at www.cckurs.com
(CC means Crypto-Coins|Crypto-Currency, Kurs means rate in many languages like German, Russian etc)

Additional features are planned or are in development.

They've provided no evidence they'll pay or even that they have ability to pay. Smells like a scam.

they have ability to pay.

Durov is the founder of vk.com, 200 kUSD are peanuts for him, he does such competitions for developers many times each year.
He has hired Snowden and invests much money to the security

I don#t think so, the hype is over. It will be more stable about 1000 USD

everyone used to say the hype is over and that it would settle at around $100

be a realist - china has kicked it up in the last two months...

why I don't see big jumps over 1000 USD in the next month:
- Chinese people have problems to buy CC
- Other people see ups and downs and will decide not to invest
- Many venturers are already in the market
- BTC must be stable to be accepted for payments
- there are many forks on the market, which will bind a part of invested money (selling BTC -> BTC rate down)
- goverments will try to regulate or to kill CC - the last week has shown how bad-news-sensitive is the market

many reasons for stability, but not for big jumps to 10000 USD in the next time

okpay is the slowest payment service - many days for person confirmation, amount will be locked for 5 days after payed in and problems with the transfer to BTC-e.

Look for some BTC on localbitcons and buy in your country, then deposit to btce

10  Other / Beginners & Help / Testers wanted for realtime exchange rate service for crypto currencies on: December 19, 2013, 07:25:02 PM
Hey all,

I have developed a new crypto-coins-related online service and had to register this new account at bitcointalk.org for - so I'm newbie now and can only post in this newbie pool.

I cannot change it though, but maybe I can find here some testers, who would test the service and let me know if some errors in different browsers occurred.

Service shows
realtime exchange rates for many crypto-coins (cc), requested from different stock exchange services and weighted by trading volumes

Main feature
not absolute rate, but the changes in percent are important for traders and will be highlighted

Used technology:
actual webbrowser with enabled javascript with supported websockets, ajax and localstorage

free, no registration required

Everyone is welcome, who reads this message and would like help me to test the service at cckurs.com Wink
