Hello, what miner would you recommend to mine Monero after the today's fork?
At this time, I believe you must use XMR-STAK.

is there way to Set static IP network addres on rigs not with dhcp
SSH into rig (SiaB). Enter: sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces Change "dhcp" to "static" and set the following as needed by your system: auto [CONNECTION NAME] iface [CONNECTION NAME] inet static address 192.168.0.16 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.0.1 dns-nameservers 8.8.4.4 8.8.8.8 The [CONNECTION NAME] should already be there, but, if not, you can get it using: ifconfig -a

I just tried to mine Grin using BMiner 13.0.0 and this is the error I am getting: 'Failed to initialize the CUDA platform: CudaError: Failed to initialize the NVML library 9'. Any idea what the problem is and what I need to do to fix this problem?
Sounds like you're trying to run it on AMD GPUs. I don't believe this works yet for GRIN.

How do I edit the miner options on a group that is already created? There use to be a page that listed all the groups and a gear icon to change the miner. The version I have now 3076 doesn't list any of my groups or provide away to edit them? Nothing shoes up in the Groups Config page, even when I do a search. Some kind of bug??? Very frustrating.
Good day.
If you click on Group Config on the left navigation menu, on the far right of each Group that's already created will be the gear icon along with Reload, Reboot, Delete and Default. If you no longer see these icons, you may be using a web browser that's blocking those types of things. So, maybe try Chrome and/or Firefox just to see what's up. Hope this helps! -SavageMine

Hey all! I made a video (livestream) on adding an unsupported miner in smOS using the BEAM miner (opencl-miner-1.0.52). Danny Greer should get all the credit. I just made the video using his script. https://youtu.be/dzznP8BTcTQ

I just downloaded a fresh copy of SMOS from smos-linux.org and successfully imaged it to USB using Etcher.
Try the correct smOS download location: http://download.simplemining.net/I don't think smos-linux.org is the same thing as simplemining.net.

So I use the order on top, or “Window” as described in my post, or “Consol” which is the miner? I have always used the miner/consol as that is what was available. The info window on top is new and seems incorrect.
What GPUs do you have? AMD? NVidia? I can show ya how to determine the HARDWARE order of your GPUs to determine the order to use for OC'ing. I have a mix of Nvidia cards - 1050s, 1070s and 1080s. Thanks! SSH into your rig using LAN Shell In A Box or other SSH utility. Logon with miner then enter this at the command line (press ENTER after typing or Copy+Paste'ing it): cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep "NVIDIA" | grep GPU This will show you the number associated with your GPUs. These are the values you should use for overclocking in smOS, NOT the values presented by your miner itself. I think if you have an onboard GPU enabled and multi-GPU enabled in the BIOS, you may have to ignore the first entry ("GPU0") for OC'ing because that will be the onboard graphics card, but you should be able to quickly identify this situation.

Does anyone know how to Mine Loki or other types of Cryptonight Heavy coins with the newer xmrig-amd or xmrstack? they dont support the newer amd drivers.
And be sure to dual-thread (XMR-STAK) for maximum hashrates! :-) https://youtu.be/g_s6Al318Pc

how can I change intensity and work size on XMR Stak in Simplemining. I mean which parameter usage if possible.
thank you
note: I have Sapphire 8GB RX470 micron
This should help. https://youtu.be/g_s6Al318PcDoesn't specifically talk about the Intensity or Work Size, but you can see where to change it. Hope this helps!

HELP ME ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) Got SMOS working finally after 2-3 days, problem is now when i try to mine Monero ( v8 ) with AMD cards ( RX550 ) 14 pieces, it gives me an error like: amdgpu: [powerplay] Voltage value looks like a Leakage ID but it's not patched. What is that? What do i need to do to fix it? P.S. i already tried stock bios, modded bios, overclocked, underclocked, different intensity, worksize etc...rig hashes a few seconds and then reboots... ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) What image are you using? If you are using the latest that has AMD 18.30 drivers on it, try going to https://download.simplemining.net/ and grabbing SimpleMiningOS-NV-RX-v1185-4.17.19-9-amd18.10.

every time i restart my miner (xmr-stak for mining LOKI), it removes the miner directory and also the config files (amd.txt). This way I can not edit the config file, as it will always delete and remake it.
Is there a work-around for this? I would love to change the gpu threads config.
Here ya go! https://youtu.be/0ty93_0CKtIworks. increased my xmr-stak hashrate by 27 %.... even getting higher hash rate on XMR-Stak then i was on claymore cryptonight 11.3 Very cool!

Dashboard Update:- new feature in menu called Group OC - basically it works the same way as Group Config Each rig can use its individual OC settings (like before) or you can optionally link selected rigs to any OC group. For some this feature will be highly usefull but for some not so much as some people are Overclocking each gpu individually. - after creating OC Groups, you can select multiple rigs on your list and link them to specific Group OC or unlink then to use their old OC values (old individual values are preserved for this purpuse ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) - Rig List now has new collumn called Group OC (when it is empty, rig is using its own OC values) - in rig list you have ability to filter rigs by Group OC - added help tooltips in overclock windows near each field This is cool! Thanks for this!

Looking for a ” Miner OPTIONS” configuration for CryptoNight-Heavy that makes the AMD RX580 8GB cards run with their peak performance. Under Windows 10 with SRBMiner these cards run around 950 H/s per card, but in SMOS they end up around 660 H/s in both XMRig and XMR-Stak, so if someone know which setting I need to add to the configuration in SMOS to solve this speed issue that would be great.
Yeah I need one also, I think its a threads issue 2 vs 1. +1 We need to be able to run 2 threads. How can we do this SMOS developers? Here ya go! https://youtu.be/0ty93_0CKtIThanks :-) Doing it manually is an option, but I was hoping there would be a more automatic solution that doesn’t require people to edit each rig they have. Maybe the SMOS developers can add some command line switch that does the same thing during compiling. Oh yeah! That would be cool!

Is there a easy way to tell what version of the USB image you have a rig on? I've updated some flash drives to recent versions, but can't remember which one's I've already done.
Mouse over Rig Name in Dashboard?!
